A good hotel, located near the embankment, freshly renovated, spacious rooms, acceptable breakfast quality, Russian-speaking and friendly reception staff.
Among the disadvantages: the restaurant does not serve natural coffee, there are no mosquito nets in the rooms, which is very sad, since Baku mosquitoes are very persistent and insatiable, and, perhaps, more Russian TV channels would not hurt.
The standard room was clean on the seventh floor, the furniture is in good condition, the room is about 15 years old, the flat-screen TV shows ripples, does not read the flash drive. the bed is comfortable. the linen is snow-white. The room has a refrigerator, air conditioning, hairdryer, bottled water, tea, coffee, shower gel, shampoo, toothbrush, slippers, bathrobes. Since the second day, there has been no cleaning in the room, but at our request, supplies were replenished. When there is a strong wind, the windows in the room whistle, and many rooms have a problem as wooden double-glazed windows. Breakfast until 10:30 for breakfast: scrambled eggs, omelette, sausage, cheeses, cottage cheese, soup, porridge, vegetables, tea, coffee, all of good quality.
Friends lived on the second floor, where the rooms are more modern, freshly renovated, the TV reads a USB stick, the windows do not whistle. The hotel itself is a 10-minute walk from the center, next to the kruglyash building.
The only beach that works in April is Shikhovo Dostlug, they rent sun beds and umbrellas, sell beer, cook food, the cradle is delicious where we ate. We swam on April 30th, the water is about +25.
The location is wonderful, close to the waterfront. Two kilometers from the Old Town. The breakfast is quite decent. The rooms are clean. There are many shops and cafes nearby.
A very comfortable hotel with minimal access time to the embankment. I stopped several times over the course of ten years. I recommended it to many friends, everyone is happy.
Great hotel! The reception staff speaks excellent English and Russian. No problems with booking. Standard room: water, tea, coffee, cleanliness. Comfortable mattresses, no mold in the bathroom or anything else that many hotels in Baku are guilty of.
I highly recommend it!
A nice hotel with an excellent location near the waterfront. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the old center, but taxis go all the time.
The breakfasts are varied and delicious.
The room is spacious, the bathroom is also comfortable and spacious. They are cleaned every day, the bed was changed after 2 days.
There is a mini-bar, you can order lunch/dinner.
The hotel is located in a good area, the rooms are cozy, the staff is friendly, there is no way to finalize the breakfast, it's still a little meager, plus there is no coffee machine, and so- 5 points out of 5
Excellent location, on the edge of old and new Baku, a beautiful boulevard within a minute's access.
Clean, cozy, calm and, most importantly, the people who work there. The receiving staff speaks Russian and helps with any treatment. The breakfasts are hearty and can also be prepared on request. I definitely recommend it.
Squalid surroundings and a sense of fading grandeur! The photo in the pictures does not correspond to reality.
The repair was done apparently in the early 2000s and since then they decided apparently not to change anything. The air conditioners under the window are no longer modern, noisy. The breakfasts are miserable, there's no other way to say it. There are non-professional staff at the reception (to put it mildly). One plus is the location in the center.
The hotel and the room are not worth their money. I didn't take a photo...
Rested at the end of January 2020 in this hotel. They were very well received, Rashid was on duty at the reception and the placement took no more than 5 minutes. The room was clean, towels and toiletries were changed every day. Breakfast is the same as in European hotels. Emerging issues were resolved promptly. There were no language problems. In addition to this, it is worth saying that the city of Baku, its architecture and historical monuments are simply beautiful.
Great location, good service. There are quite a lot of post-Soviet style joints - I only put shampoo in the room, but they didn't put gel (on the contrary, in another room), there should be a phone to call the reception, but it is missing, as well as TV remotes. Non-obvious prices in the minibar.
The hotel requires the renovation of plumbing, high-quality cleaning and a decent breakfast (from hot - only milk and sausages!). And also beware of open windows, where komarrr fly into the light!!!
