Hello! We went to St. Petersburg with Gardika and Natalia, who accompanied us, for a New Year's mood on December 23, 23. It turned out to be a wonderful trip, the hotel was just super (VALO), next to the metro, we went to the aquarium on our own and looked at the grand layout of the Russian Federation. The tour was so well planned that we didn't stand in queues anywhere, had lunch slowly, the guides were all interesting and pleasant, and the escort even distributed gifts to the baby. I went on a 5-day tour to St. Petersburg in June 2024. I really liked the organization of the tour and the tour itself. Excellent guides, understanding escorts, careful drivers.
There was one minus, which I consider necessary for the description. As personal experience shows, the sale of the last five seats in the bus cabin is usually either not carried out (when traveling such long distances), or only two seats are sold, which allows you to travel comfortably not only to those who got to the last places, but also to those who occupy the four penultimate places. In our bus, four of the last five seats were sold. Thus, for the same money as passengers in more comfortable seats, 8 passengers experienced discomfort (four in the last seats and four in front of them, since they could not recline their seats, because reclining would limit the space of the last seats so much that it would be impossible to move).

Together with "Gardica Tour" we went on a five-day tour to St. Petersburg and Karelia from May 8 to 12. Excellent and well-coordinated work of the organizers, accompanying Tatiana, drivers and guides. Everything was calculated to the smallest detail, so we didn't wait anywhere, we didn't linger, and we saw everything that was planned and announced on the tour. We went to St. Petersburg for 7 days (in fact, there are only 5 days).
Of the advantages, I would especially like to mention the hotel where we stayed, this is in2it. Excellent location near Kupchino metro station, close to shops, coffee shops, an exchange office.
Regarding the breakfasts: considering the Russian products, they were not bad.
I won't say anything bad about the escort either. We had Hope. She was really attentive to everyone, answered all the questions, repeated all the necessary information several times.
Next, I will describe what we were dissatisfied with.
We took the train. When we went there, we got a shelf on the side. Important clarification: I was with a guy who is 182 cm tall and 100 kg in weight. Naturally, we did not get enough sleep on the side shelves, the guy spent the whole night in a folded state (Of course, I understand that 50 people are a group and it is impossible to place everyone perfectly, it is clear that someone will get places at the toilet or side shelves, so we decided to clarify in advance about the conditions of returning home. And what was our surprise when the attendant said that we were also going back on the side shelf. That is, it turns out that someone's way back and forth is comfortable, and someone will huddle on the side shelves, provided that everyone paid the same price. Upon arrival in St. Petersburg, I immediately called the office and asked this question. Fortunately, as a result, we changed the side shelves to the top two. So always check about the placement in advance, especially if you are not 150 cm tall)
Next, I will talk about accommodation on buses. I also recommend that you clarify this in advance, because the seating arrangement on the bus on excursions is also by numbers. It's worth mentioning here that all those who rode on the side shelves, including us, rode in the ass of the bus. And again, a logical question arises - why is this so? A man was huddled on a side shelf, and then he was riding a bus at the very end, and someone was there and there in comfort. Well, in general, the approach is the same in our opinion.
Now I would like to say about the guides. We had several of them. I would especially like to highlight the one who accompanied us the most, Natalia. The guide has information, is literate and knows her business (she even read poetry). But she conducted tours through radio equipment. She spoke very quietly and this equipment didn't help a bit. At the same time, it seemed that he was talking quieter and quieter every time. I've asked you to speak up several times, but like peas against a wall. To be heard, you need to stand right next to her, and provided that there are 50 people in the group, this is impossible. Add extraneous noises from the street and a complete picture is formed.That's why we often just packed up and went to take pictures or something.
Next, I would like to mention that to Peterhof, Catherine Palace, etc. excursions are not included in this tour and you buy tickets at the box office yourself. Therefore, you will spend a considerable amount of time standing at the ticket offices, instead of enjoying the beauty of these places. Here, of course, it is unclear why the escort could not raise money, buy at the box office and distribute 50 tickets. In Pavlovsk, it was generally interesting, there was only one working ticket office and plus strangers, we spent about half an hour in line, this is provided that you are given three for a walk) At the Catherine Palace, the guide told us that the Chinese are so eager to get into the amber room that they buy tickets almost three months in advance. So the Chinese can buy tickets, but they couldn't, and we stood in line ourselves.
To summarize, this is not the best recreation organization, but also not the worst for this price category, but there is definitely something to strive for) we are sure that if they pay more attention to working with tourist reviews, the situation will definitely improve!) Prosperity to you 🤍
