An amazing location for watching sunsets over Belgrade. Also it available to climb and explore the ruins of ancient walls without any restrictions. The cemetery next to the Tower is a peaceful place worth visiting, too.
Stunning views of the city, the history of Zemun itself is interesting. From the tower, if you go down to the river, there are many pleasant cafes with amazing coffee (like in Italy!) and be sure to buy bread at the bakery on the way - swarms of swans will be happy to eat it below)). Zemun is called swan Island by the locals. They are released near restaurants by the owners of these very restaurants and a specially trained/hired person feeds them from a 4km length (then - Dr. "forester" monitors the next section). There are a lot of swans ), they eat almost with their hands
Very beautiful views open from the tower! You should definitely come here and admire the Danube, take a walk along the embankment, have a coffee in one of the many "kaffa") Take care of your feet - bruschatka and the road up / down - comfortable shoes are welcome on these streets! You can get here by several buses from old Belgrade, and the route will be indicated by the Yandex Maps application with transport working here! Thanks!
The Gardosh Tower was built at the end of the 19th century, when Zemun was part of Austria-Hungary. Now the tower is a wonderful observation deck with a magnificent view of modern Zemun, the Danube River and almost the whole of Belgrade. Entrance to the tower is paid. The ascent and descent takes place on a very narrow spiral staircase, there is no elevator. Therefore, if you are not confident in your abilities, it is better to take a walk around the tower. Moreover, there is also a beautiful view from its foot.
The Gardosha Tower is located in the Zemun district. It is a beautiful area with old private houses and narrow cobblestone streets. The walls surrounding the tower offer stunning views of the whole of Belgrade. It is mandatory to visit at the service. Not far from the tower there is also a small beautiful Cathedral of St. St. Nicholas with the relics of St. Andrew the First-Called and St. Nicholas the Wonderworker.
The tallest building in Zemun was built in honor of the 1000th anniversary of Hungary, whose border town Zemun was until 1918. Beautiful views of the Danube and the old town (not sure if there is a new one). The ascent to the observation room is by stairs and is paid.
As can be seen from the address, there is a cemetery next to the tower
Magnificent view of Zemun and the Danube (and Belgrade in the distance). The entrance is inexpensive, the stairs to the ascent are wider than you would expect (as, for example, in old European castles/ towers)
I enjoyed the quiet and cozy walk through the small streets, climbing the mountain. There is a very cozy restaurant on the top, on the right side of the chapel.
Beautiful panoramic views! there is a cemetery nearby, which we accidentally came across, but we met a lot of cute cats there. Tickets to the observation tower can only be purchased for cash, the toilet next to it does not work. This is a minus.
The panorama is fascinating, roof tiles, the Danube, a historical place, silence, a small number of tourists, nearby a cozy terrace cafe for relaxation. The spirit of antiquity and old Belgrade, we recommend it! The climb to the tower is 200 dinars.
Here in Zeman, everything is completely different from in the Old Town on the other side. It's cozy and nice here. The tower is interesting, though 19th century. And there is an observation deck on the Danube nearby. I highly recommend driving here and taking a walk down the old streets. This is a completely different Belgrade
The tower itself does not look great, but the view from there of the city, the Danube and the embankment is simply amazing. Well, actually, the embankment is just around the corner. It's also beautiful there, swans swim, and there are many cafes and restaurants for every taste and budget ;)
It's a beautiful place if you have free time to take a little walk. You don't have to go on purpose, but you can take a look in passing) The entrance to the tower is 2 euros or 200 dinars, it offers a much more impressive view than just next to the tower.
It's a beautiful place. The old town. It is very different from modern Belgrade. If time permits, you can walk through the entire park along the river and get to this place.
Incredible beauty in the evening with electric lighting. Since the area itself is very picturesque, I recommend visiting it with both natural and electric lighting.
An interesting historical place. A guide is desirable, or just a person who knows the history of Belgrade. Beautiful view of the river. Nearby is one of the old districts of the city and very nice restaurants.

A great place to visit, because the Danube and old Zemun are visible from the observation deck. Also in this place there is a cozy traditional cafe where you can take Serbian boiled coffee (excellent) and drink a glass of plum raki under coffee. It will be great in chilly weather.
It's interesting to walk around, it's very beautiful. The museum consists of a staircase to the top of the tower. In my opinion, it's not worth visiting
Yandex, out of habit, requests an assessment..
I would have appreciated it, but the tower was closed on Wednesday.. It was not possible to enjoy the view from the top of Zemun. Sorry, I wanted to. Outwardly, it's interesting, but nothing more... But the views from the site nearby are good...
Amazing view, amazing Land around. Everything feels very European, even Czech. Entrance is paid, two euros. It is difficult to climb the spiral staircase.
A great place in the center of Zemun. The old tower, an observation deck overlooking Belgrade. There is a bar and a restaurant nearby. The prices are pleasant.
Beautiful panorama. The Danube, the fleeting Danube. It was winter, and I think the views are even more interesting in summer.
The red roofs of Zemun!)
The beautiful memorial tower of Austria-Hungary at the beginning of the 20th century.
The entrance there is on the cobblestones, it is incredibly difficult to get there with a stroller. The tower has a cafe. Inside the tower, you can visit a mini museum and an observation deck for a fee.
Along the way there are many different cafes in the style of the late 19th and early 20th century.
It is not easy to climb the Gardosh Tower, but it is worth it to see Zemun from a height!!!! This tower is called the Millennium Tower, it is also the Gardosha - the dominant of the old Zemun district, standing on an elevation and allowing you to see the stunning panorama of Belgrade, as well as the arrow of the Sava-Danube.We were there on August 4, 2024, And then the guide took us to the embankment to feed the magnificent white swans!!!!❤
The magnificent view from the tower of Zemun, the Danube, Belgrade and in clear weather is even wider. There is a restaurant next to the tower, and the historic Gardosh district.
A beautiful tower. In an interesting area.
You can go upstairs for a fee. But even without that, there is a playground nearby, which offers a magnificent view of Zemun
The tower has a history, as well as the Zemun district itself, which is also interesting to walk around. The observation deck offers a very beautiful view of the Danube and Belgrade. I recommend you to visit.
An ancient place, the entrance to the tower is 200 rubles, from there beautiful views, a good overview of Zemun and the Danube, we liked it, I recommend you to visit.
Of course, I imagined that the tower would be higher and the observation deck would be higher, but it turned out that it was quite small and, alas, the climb was not to the very top. Of course, I would like to go higher. The tower is very nice, it corresponds to the whole old Zemun, where everything is small and cute. I recommend.
From the garden there is an amazing view of the Danube. Here you can walk along such streets, which are not found in Belgrade itself. There is an interesting cemetery nearby. There is a very old Jewish burial ground.
There is nothing to write here, it must be seen. To visit Belgrade and not to visit here is very, very short-sighted. Belgrade is not Belgrade without Zemun. Walk up the stairs to the market and sit in a cafe on the embankment, see the swans. And you will be happy.
The building of the 19th century in which the elements of fortress architecture and the column gallery are originally mixed. A good observation deck, from which a beautiful prospect of the city opens, especially in the evening

Beautiful view of the city and the Danube, a good observation deck, beautiful low houses with tiled roofs nearby, a good cafe with mulled wine)
A historical tower on a high mountain in the Zemun district. Wonderful view of the city and the Danube. The entrance to the tower is free, but the ascent to the tower is already paid)). Somewhere in the region of 200 din./person
Zemun is a beautiful place by the river. there are tea gardens, cafes, restaurants and horizon pubs there, you can come and see this small tower at a distance of 500 m by walking while you go and spend time there. But just
