An amazing location for watching sunsets over Belgrade. Also it available to climb and explore the ruins of ancient walls without any restrictions. The cemetery next to the Tower is a peaceful place worth visiting, too.

Real name is Millennium tower, also known as Kula Sibinjanin Janka. It was built and officially opened on 20 august 1896.

Stunning views of the city, the history of Zemun itself is interesting. From the tower, if you go down to the river, there are many pleasant cafes with amazing coffee (like in Italy!) and be sure to buy bread at the bakery on the way - swarms of swans will be happy to eat it below)). Zemun is called swan Island by the locals. They are released near restaurants by the owners of these very restaurants and a specially trained/hired person feeds them from a 4km length (then - Dr. "forester" monitors the next section). Very beautiful views open from the tower! You should definitely come here and admire the Danube, take a walk along the embankment, have a coffee in one of the many "kaffa") Take care of your feet - bruschatka and the road up / down - comfortable shoes are welcome on these streets! You can get here by several buses from old Belgrade, and the route will be indicated by the Yandex Maps application with transport working here! Thanks!

The Gardosh Tower was built at the end of the 19th century, when Zemun was part of Austria-Hungary. Now the tower is a wonderful observation deck with a magnificent view of modern Zemun, the Danube River and almost the whole of Belgrade. Entrance to the tower is paid. The ascent and descent takes place on a very narrow spiral staircase, there is no elevator. Therefore, if you are not confident in your abilities, it is better to take a walk around the tower. Moreover, there is also a beautiful view from its foot.

The Gardosha Tower is located in the Zemun district. It is a beautiful area with old private houses and narrow cobblestone streets. The walls surrounding the tower offer stunning views of the whole of Belgrade. It is mandatory to visit at the service. Not far from the tower there is also a small beautiful Cathedral of St. St. Nicholas with the relics of St. Andrew the First-Called and St. Nicholas the Wonderworker.

The tallest building in Zemun was built in honor of the 1000th anniversary of Hungary, whose border town Zemun was until 1918. Beautiful views of the Danube and the old town (not sure if there is a new one). The ascent to the observation room is by stairs and is paid.

Beautiful panoramic views! there is a cemetery nearby, which we accidentally came across, but we met a lot of cute cats there. Tickets to the observation tower can only be purchased for cash, the toilet next to it does not work. This is a minus.

Here in Zeman, everything is completely different from in the Old Town on the other side. It's cozy and nice here. The tower is interesting, though 19th century. And there is an observation deck on the Danube nearby. I highly recommend driving here and taking a walk down the old streets. This is a completely different Belgrade

A great place to visit, because the Danube and old Zemun are visible from the observation deck. Also in this place there is a cozy traditional cafe where you can take Serbian boiled coffee (excellent) and drink a glass of plum raki under coffee. It will be great in chilly weather.

The entrance there is on the cobblestones, it is incredibly difficult to get there with a stroller. The tower has a cafe. Inside the tower, you can visit a mini museum and an observation deck for a fee.

It is not easy to climb the Gardosh Tower, but it is worth it to see Zemun from a height!!!!
