For the first time we decided to visit Georgia and for a long time we went through the hotel options.
We decided to stop at this in the end, because we were attracted by good views (judged by photos).
The hosts are great, they always got in touch if there were any questions, and solved them. Of course, we had to contact ourselves (some of the nuances that we encountered will be described below) :)
David (one of the hosts) arranges excursions. Shows different places, tells different stories. We were very pleased with him. Somehow we compared his excursions with those offered by other guides, and we liked his options more + we found it more profitable.
The time was spent perfectly. There are plenty of impressions received. I don't mind the money spent :)
Rooms: The rooms are good. Of course, it's not 5 * (especially as in all sorts of movies, etc. they show), but it was comfortable to live (in general). There were, of course, some nuances: 1. We were not very lucky with the air conditioner (or rather with the company / people who eventually repaired it): the air conditioner did not cool (apparently there was no refrigerant). We turned to the owners, they called the masters, they did something - they worked for 2 days and again "ended". We turned to the owners again, called the masters, did something, 2 days - "finished". And the whole vacation was in this mode. As I pointed out earlier: I can't find fault with the owners, because they always immediately called the masters at the first request, but what the masters themselves were doing is another question, because it's not profitable for the owners either (still, air conditioning maintenance is not cheap and each call costs not a small penny). 2. WiFi periodically "fell off". I had to reboot the modem (fortunately, they showed me how, so that every time I didn't have to wait / look for someone from the staff). 3. We had a room for 3 people. I agree: the main bed was great, but the 3rd bed was different from the floor only in that it was not cold and a little softer. Otherwise, you can sleep, but many may not be suitable because of the hardness. 4. Of course, it is worth considering that the sea has constantly high humidity + salt, so there were enough rust, etc., but this did not bother us. You can judge for yourself here.
Safety: There were constant patrols around, lifeguards on a boat swam in the sea. It was always clean and pleasant
Walking distance: The sea was within walking distance. We also found a couple of good shops, cafes, mini markets nearby, which we visited all the time (you could easily buy everything you need)
Food and drinks: We chose the option of staying only with breakfast, because there was no desire to adjust to other meals and "break up" the day (and there was no point either). The food is good. Of course, if someone expects to see lobsters, foie gras and other "on the rich" here, then you are not here. Everything is simpler here, but to say that it was not tasty, or we went hungry - never.
The first line from the sea. Large balconies with views of the city and the sea. Clean and tidy. The staff is polite and helpful. The breakfast, although not varied, is delicious and satisfying. For excursions, please contact only David (there is a room at the reception) - he does it cool, mentally and at very attractive prices. We had a rest in August 2024.
We were in August 2024, the room is spacious, with a balcony overlooking the city and the sea. The price is reasonable for this hotel and the location to the sea. Clean linen, all accessories are available. It's quiet, you can't hear the music from the restaurants. With breakfast, which is very convenient. Minus, there is no parking, but this is also solvable.
