The rector of the Church, Father Sergius, constantly conducts prayer services with special litanies on the launch pad, consecrating spaceships on the eve of space flights. He blesses the astronauts before the launch. Father Sergiy has the award badge "Honored Tester of space technology". The Church has an active parish life, there is a Sunday school, a Youth club, a publishing house, social ministry, educational activities on television.

Their Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle, which launched the Soyuz MS-19 spacecraft into orbit, was also consecrated by Sergius at launch pad #31 Vostok.
