Oman is a new country for our family, and although we had little time, we were able to get a lot of positive emotions thanks to Ilya, who showed us very beautiful places that we want to return to again and again. We learned a lot of interesting facts about Muscat and the country in general. We managed to go to the oasis of Wadi Tiwi and the Sultan Kubus Mosque. We enjoyed the scenery and architecture. The oasis made a lasting impression on us, we were able to swim all alone and take incredible photos! All the decorations of the mosque, chandeliers, carpet, helped us to immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of a new religion for us. Ilya chose the perfect route for such hot weather and our day turned out to be unforgettable!

It has been my long-standing dream to visit the Sultanate of Oman. I would like to note right away that for a full acquaintance with this amazing country, the help of a qualified specialist is required.
I was very lucky that OmanGid and its founder, Ilya Bogdanov, who loves this country very much and knows it well, became my guide and guide in May of this year. Ilya had developed our excursion program in advance and for 11 days we traveled around Oman from Muscat to Salala, visiting the most interesting places, spending the night along the way in authentic and very comfortable hotels that Ilya had booked in advance. Together with Ilya, we traveled a great distance visiting all the most famous and popular attractions (including those under UNESCO protection), the amazing Wadi Shab and Wadi Bunny Khalid, colorful ancient cities and forts (Al-Hamra, Nisa, Bahla Fortress, Misfat, Sur, Jabrin Castle, etc.), unique natural places (Bimma well, Oman Grand Canyon, mountain ranges, oases, caves) spent the night on the ocean shore near sandy "sugar" dunes, where at night I watched the most beautiful starry sky, rode on the dunes of the Wahiba desert. During the trip, there was always the opportunity to swim in crystal clear sea water on a great beach. A visit to the island of Maceira in the Arabian Sea deserves special attention. Ilya bought ferry tickets in advance and we got to a paradise island with wonderful snow-white beaches, unique nature and climate (I also recommend it).
Upon arrival in Salala, Ilya conducted for me a wonderful 2-day tour of the Dofar region with a visit to the ancient city of Samharam, Taka Castle, an incense plantation, an Incense museum and much more.
I would especially like to note Ilya's decency and responsibility, his ability to work with people, and his sincere desire to show tourists as many attractions as possible, even beyond the main program. Ilya, thank you very much and new professional successes!
