A lovely and cozy cafe. A warm and sincere atmosphere. Every guest is heartily welcome here! Pleasant and attentive staff. The food is beyond praise! The lumpy kebab is the most delicate, you do not need to chew, it conceals and flies straight into the stomach. I almost ate very tasty mantas with my hands. A taste of childhood, my grandmother used to make these. Very tasty. The tea is delicious and there is a lot of it. A large kettle. I am very glad that I found this cafe. I will be happy to return to Samarkand to visit this cafe.

The cafe is within walking distance from Registan. The interior is simple. The staff is very friendly. They speak Russian. The service is fast. The prices are average. Everything is delicious. We were there in the evening. The room is full. Tourists and locals are having dinner. My husband took Umakai (Boiled mutton), lamb kebab. The meat is gorgeous. I have wings. It is also quickly and deliciously cooked. The beer is local. Soft. Inexpensive. 124,000 came out for two. I recommend this cafe.

We found this place by accident, having stumbled upon reviews. The convenient location in the very center of the city did not make this restaurant either pretentious or expensive. The place itself does not shine with design and atmosphere....BUT here we tried one of the most delicious lagman and shurpa. Shish kebab is also very good. We rested with my wife, almost every day we had dinner in this place, prices are several times lower than in other restaurants, the food is incredibly delicious, waiting for dishes 5-10 minutes.
Special thanks to the waiter, who met us every time, always attentive and responsive. Thank you for the free sauce and greetings from St. Petersburg.

It is a rare case when for 4 days in a row, until our departure from Samarkand, we ate exclusively in this cafe. Manti, kebab, tortillas, vegetables, tea, all the food is beyond praise.
The friendly staff, they devote time to each guest, every time they did not want to leave. For the first time we saw that they refused to tip, the guys say "No need, it's from the bottom of our hearts, we love tourists."

They probably cook shish kebab well here, if there are many times more people than in other establishments, but everything looks like a roadside cafe. It's like entering a garage, through a barbecue and smoke.
The menu on laminated sheets already hints at simplicity, while it does not affect prices in any way.

Tasteless and not cheap at all.
Lunch is 160,000 local money.
Lagman is just noodles, there is very little meat. Lamb kebab is impossible to chew. Black tea is absolutely ridiculous, three tea leaves on a huge teapot. Tasteless vegetables, tomatoes from the nearest supermarket? The best tomatoes on the market are 15-18,000 for 1 kg, and here the slicing is for 25,000 ...
In short, I do not recommend it.

Outwardly, a completely inconspicuous place. Found by reviews. The setting is simple, but the food is delicious. There are many types of kebabs (laid out in the window), which are fried right there, there is chicken, delicious manti, shish kebab made of bread (bread on a skewer in spices and oil is very tasty), a smiling waiter. We ate once and came back the next day . The only negative is a specific toilet. But it's everywhere here.
