Recently, an incident occurred in the store: the screen went blank at the self-service checkout, which happens quite often in hippo, and any other store. Usually the sales girls came up, conjured something with the card)) and the problem went away. Everything was always in order, and everything was solved calmly. At the same time, Anna Vladimirovna worked at the self-service ticket offices (I don't remember her last name anymore, but she is listed in the complaint book - I left an entry), which caused a whole scandal from scratch.
In general, the cash register went wrong, and she reached into the grocery bag that was on the scales (it hadn't been paid yet and not all the products had been punched). To which I told her that she had no right to climb into the bag, she had the right to ask to open the bag and get / show the products from there. And to be honest, I was taken aback, the first time the seller went to dig into the package. But I told her about it politely, to which she began to yell at the whole hall. I asked why she was climbing into the bag, to which she said that maybe we put something in the bag and didn't check it at the checkout. I said that we can get everything out and show it without any problems. But the question is: how was she going to check the "punched" products if she did not perform any manipulations with the cash register, and the screen of this cash register was black (it also reported an error or something like that)? That is, she did not see the actual list of products. Then what was she going to compare the products with? I pointed out to her the illogicality of her actions and pointed out that shouting and shouting were inappropriate. To which she began to scream even more.
It was just a technical error that could have been resolved easily, quickly, and most importantly kindly. But the ordinary situation turned into a whole scandal with screams all over the hall. And even when the administrator Angelina Vladimirovna came, the seller did not stop bickering and snapping. And with the absence of logical arguments, Anna Vladimirovna generally crossed all boundaries, saying that we may have tried to put unbroken goods in the package. It's just out of the ordinary. Our cash register was right next to the seller, and when the cash register went dead, I immediately turned to the seller. But, I repeat, she turned an ordinary technical mistake into a loud scandal.
Was it really impossible to calmly return the screen to its normal state, look at the list of products and check on which product the cash register had failed? No, it was necessary to yell at the whole hall and start blaming people from scratch.
You see, there will always be problems with equipment in stores, but the question is how administrators will solve these problems - whether they will remain adequate, or will aggravate the situation with their aggression.
And a couple of days ago I received a response from Hippo, where they indicated that, in principle, they did not see anything like that in the actions of selling, the cashier, they say, immediately came to us after the screen glitch and there was just a "misunderstanding". And the fact that she came up to us and started digging in the bag and yelling, how do you characterize it? Instead of admitting rudeness on the part of the cashier, they just kind of chalked it up to a misunderstanding.

Yes, Hippo is a really good store, I was there for good prices, but sometimes it is very expensive, after the repair it became very good, but where the sausage department there are a lot of people. There used to be a pet store there, but it was removed very badly, and I advise you normally, but I live nearby so it's very good💕💜

For six months they have been feeding them an excuse that the MMC does not carry them Trinity sausages, and on 24.09 I decided to write it to them in the complaint book, which turned into an incident. 09/24/2024 at 9:20 a.m. I visited the store to buy milk and Trinity sausages, which were once again out of stock. There were no packages of 630g, used and weighed in the window - everything is as always in this store. Then I asked the girl behind the window to call the administrator with a book of complaints, to which I received an absurd answer: - I am forbidden to leave the window even for a minute, contact someone else. I found an employee in the food department and again asked to invite the administrator with a book of complaints, but the employee instead began to justify himself, another nonsense that GMK does not have sausages for their store. I pointed out that Trinity sausages are available in three meat processing plants: Grodno, Volkovysk and Slonim, but I received the answer that they do not have such a product in the matrix and it is not possible to add them (although in other Hippo stores everything is available in full). Then 2 more employees came up and the three of them began to discuss this situation. I reminded them that I was waiting for the administrator with a book of complaints, to which I received an absurd answer: Now there is no one responsible for the store and without them we have no right to take the book of complaints, wait 2 hours until they come. On the remark that this is a violation of the law and I can call the police, they laughed in my face. The complaint book was never brought. After making a purchase, I left with the feeling that this store employs people who are not customer-oriented, unable to meet the simple needs of people. Now, every time I visit the store and there are no Trinity sausages available, I will make a note in the complaint book.
The assortment is good, basic necessities, as well as household goods. Parking is small and inconvenient.There is a public transport stop nearby-it is easy to get there.The price tag is like everywhere else.
There have never been any controversial issues related to this store. Everything is always available, fresh, and a good selection of products. I am glad that there is also a wonderful coffee shop, and a pet store with a pharmacy. Everything is at hand in one building, it's perfect)
I'm there almost every day. You can't try all the products, so you can take a light snack, for example. There are my favorite products, for example corn kernels, that you can cook yourself in a frying pan. A large assortment of sweets, which I never pass by. Fresh fruit and generally the atmosphere is free, lots of space and beautiful.

Он имеет небольшую площадь,но ассортимент очень хороший и нет особой нужды ехать куда либо ещё. Качество товара тоже хорошее. С персоналом вопросов не возникало. Кассиры приятные, позитивные люди.
Один из немногих магазинов, который не смотря на небольшие торговые площади имеет достойный ассортимент

Магазин с очень хорошим ассортиментом продуктов, много разнообразных овощей, фруктов, зелени. Большой выбор мясо-молочной продукции и полуфабрикатов. Часто проходят акции и скидки. В здании магазина имеется аптека, зоомагазин, обменник «Франсабанка» и очень классная кофейня. На кассах продавцы, несмотря на явную загруженность ВСЕГДА вежливые и приветливые! Сразу у входа большая парковка. Из минусов большие очереди, особенно в вечернее время. Считаю, что именно для это магазина просто необходимы кассы самообслуживания, либо хотя отдельная касса «до пяти продуктов», поскольку всё же это скорее магазин «у дома» и не хочется забежав за хлебом или молоком терять там 20-30 минут своего времени.

Мне нравится этот магазин. Хорошие акции как "День кота" и "Чёрная пятница". Приемлемые цены, всегда свежие фрукты и овощи. Жаль, что сети Гиппо нет в Гродно. Обязательно расширяйте географию сети.

Довольно большой выбор товаров, но жаль что корицы в последнее время нет в наличии. Но цены на некоторые продукты "кусаются". Приятные работники на зале и кассах.
Для магазина в спальном районе очень не плохой выбор. Очереди всегда маленькие. Персонал вежливый. Можно купить, практически всё. Акции такие же, как и вс крупных гиппо.
Хороший магазин у дома, ассортимент приличный, все необходимое можно приобрести. Очереди всегда, в любое время суток. Ситуацию должны спасти кассы самообслуживания. По качеству товаров и персоналу ничего особенного сказать не могу: все как во всех магазинах сети: нормально, но обойтись без несоответствия ценников стоимости на кассе не всегда получается. Но не часто. Так что все хорошо, проверяйте чек и радуйтесь жизни!
Очень нравится. Забыла носки после оплаты, правдой вернули, со скандалом. Есть книга учёта оставленого товара. Продавцы не вежливы. А так все чисто и хороший ассортимент.
В целом нормальный магазин шаговой доступности. Но периодически приходится долго искать ценник на какой то продукт, но даже если и найдешь не факт что и на кассе эта цена будет такой же. Выбор товаров хороший. Персонал приветливый, а это большой плюс. Вечером очереди почти всегда приличные, но есть кассы самообслуживания.
