A cozy hotel located in the historical part of Istanbul, Fatih district, many attractions are within walking distance. The staff is very pleasant, sociable and friendly. On the upper floor there is a beautiful veranda with good views of the Bosphorus, Galata Tower, Topkapi Palace. Sunrise lovers will also appreciate the veranda, with a cup of coffee it generally comes with a bang. Very important!!! If you are sensitive to loud noises, then there is a mosque nearby, it can be seen from the windows in the photo. The first calls to prayer begin at 4.30, but it was nice for us to feel ourselves in the culture of the country in which we found ourselves.
The hotel is in a great location: walking distance from most of the attractions and 2 minutes to the tram stop that goes to all the others. Delicious breakfasts with a wonderful view. Friendly and helpful staff. But you need to understand that there is a mosque under the windows, so an early rise is provided And the room stock is quite tired, although it is maintained in perfect cleanliness!
We always stop here. I really like this hotel for its location. Breakfast on the seventh floor overlooking the Bosphorus is 100% uplifting. The staff is responsive. There are Russian speakers.
We stayed at this hotel in February 2022, amazing!!! The rooms are clean, cleaned every day, towels + slippers are changed daily. At the reception, Ibrahim and Ersel are the best! They gave me a room with a view of the Bosphorus. We had 2 birthday boys and both were not ignored and congratulated with a delicious cake with candles! The birthday was offered to be celebrated on the ship where it was a lot of fun (food, drinks, concert program👍👍👍) The breakfasts are delicious on the veranda with a wonderful view of the Bosphorus. If the restaurant is on the roof. The geolocation of the hotel is great, everything is nearby (mosques, manazines, market)Thank you, we will definitely be back!!!
I had a rest at the Glamour Hotel from April 14 to April 23, 2021. I think this is a very decent place and a great hotel! The location of the hotel is very convenient - the tram stop is very close and you can get to any part of the city. The hotel itself is clean and cozy, and there is a Russian-speaking staff who is very attentive! The staff at the reception are real professionals in their field, great guys! I am very grateful to them, they always fulfilled requests efficiently and promptly! The receptionist - Orhan - speaks Russian well, which was convenient and very much in demand by me! The view in the room is on the Bosphorus Strait, - the beauty is incredible! I am very pleased with the hotel!
The entrance to the hotel is located in an alley, of course, it's another quest to find it right away... However, after you have found an institution, a young citizen immediately accepts suitcases from you and at the reception the person is also more than adequate and friendly (except Turkish, he speaks English and a little Russian). There are three tables in the dressing room, at one of which we spent time waiting for the room to be prepared, at which time we were treated to coffee and juice. Our room was #202, on the second floor (respectively). The room is neat, towels, slippers, soap are available, as well as a hairdryer, refrigerator and safe as well (razors, toothbrushes/paste, shower caps are missing). There is no parking. Public transport is nearby. The sound insulation in the room is good (from other rooms), but through the windows you can hear prayers in the mosque next door, I understand that most people adhere to Islam, but Turkey is a secular state, sort of. The next day in the morning (from 7 to 10), we went to breakfast, the dining room on the 7th (+ attic) floor, sat down, asked the waiter for breakfast, and after that it will take 5 ... 40 minutes until breakfast is served to you, in general, a lottery of sorts. Wi-Fi seems to work, but periodically you have to reconnect, maybe there are some restrictions (there are enough managers, but you don't fully look at instagram / tick talk or YouTube)... Another nuance in the toilet turned out to be unpleasant - in order to relieve a man and not dirty the toilet seat, you need to hold it with your foot. Cleaning every day (at 11...14). 345 euros for 7 days turned out for us (including breakfast).
P.S. our friends wanted to extend the room for a day, put up a price of about 90 euros, whereas before that they paid 65 (and for the same amount it was possible to book it on booking).
I was on vacation with my daughter from October 21 to October 26, 2019. We chose the hotel based on reviews on YouTube and did not lose! A cozy room with a panoramic window overlooking the Bosphorus. Cleaning every day. The room has a hairdryer, mini fridge, kettle. Everything is clean and bright. Towels were changed and cleaning was done every day. At our request, we were given bathrobes with the hotel's trademark patch. An iron was provided, also upon request. Tea, coffee, and sugar are always available in the room. In the shower, shampoo, shower gel, conditioner. A separate song to the restaurant on the 7th floor, where we had breakfast! The view that opens there is incomparable! A buffet and a very varied menu, which was changed every day! The staff is polite and considerate both in the restaurant and at the reception. They try to help in any situation! Thank you for your hospitality) We will definitely come back to you!
