There is nothing special in the fortress itself, worse than the others, but the view from there is very cool and it is very easy and quick to climb it.
The place is abandoned unfortunately.
But around the mountain, you can walk to the cross
The view from the fortress to Borjomi is beautiful + you can climb higher
Gogia Fortress has been mentioned in historical sources since the 16th century. The name Gogia comes from its owner. The fortress belonged to the Borjomi feudal lords of Avalishvili. The gorge and fortresses witnessed the battle between the external enemies and the battle itself between the Avalishvils too.
The fortress is almost destroyed, almost nothing remains, it is not being restored. Honestly, there's nothing to watch! But there are very beautiful views of the city.
