Cozy and cute. There is even a swimming pool. But the most important thing is not far from the central square and the Istanbul Arbat.
Delicious breakfasts. Everything you need for guests of Istanbul who are interested in excursions in the city center
I'll leave a detailed comment later. But the hotel is not a 4*, but an ordinary "two". One advantage is the proximity to the Taksim metro station. Otherwise, it's a complete otstoy...
And so, the hotel itself is an amazing combination of some disadvantages.
Floors are not cleaned for several months, because there are pieces of dust under the beds. The safe doesn't work; they asked us to fix it, the guy a la master came, looked, said he needed to fix it and left...
We had to beg for water from the cleaner, he sent us to the reception, the reception to the cleaners, etc. - the circle closed.
The sewage system stinks in the hotel lobby and near the elevators.
The bathrobes promised on the website are not given. There are only 4 hangers, and 2 more were barely thrown away.
There is no toilet brush, I asked the cleaners - they shook their heads ("wai wai mamajdon!").
The breakfasts are meager, with only a semblance of one type of soy sausage from meat (as indeed everywhere in Turkey). The cook in the hamlet area does not know how to make elementary "glaze"!
The plastic window is skewed and does not fit snugly to the opening (a gap the size of a finger), which is why the sounds of the street are in the room around the clock.
PS there are practically no normal meat dishes in Istanbul: wherever you order a meat dish from a picture, in fact they bring you a side dish of rice and chopped herbs with cabbage (as for hares), and the meat from the photo menu is present in scanty execution, and for a high price.
I made a conclusion for myself: Moscow restaurants are really cool, delicious and high-quality for adequate money and for any purse.
Nice hotel, very friendly staff. It's a little cramped, though, the corridors are narrow, the rooms are small. The sound insulation is not very good, everything is audible. Breakfasts are normal in principle, but the problem is also the lack of seats in the restaurant, sometimes you had to wait until the table was free.
