In terms of price-quality ratio, the hotel is simply amazing. A huge room with two bedrooms, two living rooms and two bathrooms. A well-equipped kitchen. A great breakfast, especially if you come early. There is a good gym, there is a sauna. The pool is tired, but it is there and it works. A good transfer to the excellent Al Khan beach, 10 minutes on the road. There are many shops around. You can even walk to Dubai to the liquor store, if anyone needs it. A maximum of 15 minutes through the Sugar. If this hotel is still cleaned from the outside, it will be an exemplary place. Compared to the surrounding Indo-Pakistani landscape.

I liked the beach. But then you have to wait for time to be taken back. We arrived at the bus stop in advance. People began to pull up. Many of them have children. And the trash started. The swearing started on that little bus. You can't drive standing up. And the trial began, who should come out. This. Horror. They left with grief in half. There's nowhere to go near the hotel. Sand. There is a huge shopping mall opposite. But there's not much to do in it. They went back to the hotel . We ordered pizza at the restaurant and went to the room. Fortunately, the room is excellent. In the morning, a good, uncomplicated breakfast and transfer to the airport. Maybe it's okay for someone (especially with children) It's not a good way for us to relax (the bus to the beach is like manna from heaven). But I recommend the hotel.

There are hotel beach towels, a shuttle service to the beach (we got a lot both to the beach and from the beach, with kalyaski on our heads). The beach is free, but there is a lot of fuel oil (you need to have napkins with solvent (gasoline), you will not be able to dodge). The overall impression of the hotel is VERY ECONOMICAL, but we didn't pay much either.

We spend our holidays in the Emirates every year, and holidays in Sharjah are much cheaper. Good afternoon. We returned from a trip to the UAE, had a rest in Sharjah, Golden Sands hotel & Residences from December 16 to December 22, 2024. I really liked everything!

We took HB (half board) and never regretted it. Everything is very, very tasty!.
Lunch can be changed to dinner and vice versa. You just come to the dining room and they mark your number in the dining room.
Free bus to the beach: at 09.00, 10.00, 11.00.
Free bus from the beach: at 12.00, 13.00, 14.00.
In my opinion, it is better to go to the beach from 09.00 to 12.00 because there will be places (at 10.00 and 13.00 there was not enough space for us on one day) and at 12.00 a chocolate—covered date seller from the Carlton hotel next to the beach comes on the bus from the beach and treats him with date sweets, inviting him to his store.
I liked the hotel very much, it was clean, the food was delicious (did I already write?☺️), location near the border with Dubai - fire! You enter the Sahara shopping center, turn right, and walk along the left side. There will be a door to the Dubai Entrance street. Next, you just need to cross the wire fence and follow the carpet diagonally to the right to the bus stop. We got to Dubai by bus F23 to the Stadium metro stop (green line), then at the Union stop we changed to the red line and went where we needed to go. The air conditioning is very strong on buses (take a jacket). The distances are long everywhere, of course, it took 2 hours to get to the same Marina and 2 hours back. 🤪
We recommend the hotel safely. Yes, the furniture may not be very new, but the main gold of the hotel is its staff. And Althaf, and other employees, everything! They are very attentive and surround you with extraordinary care! There is always cold water with orange and cucumber in the lobby, if you ask, slippers and bathrobes will be brought to the room, they will help you carry and bring your luggage, you can take as many towels to the beach as you want, then you return them back. You feel at home in this hotel.
The only strange point is that the balcony is a priori locked. And in order to ask him to open at the reception, you need to write a statement that we take responsibility for the safety of things. We didn't write/open the balcony. But if you hang wet swimsuits on the towel rails in the bathroom in the afternoon after the beach, then they are dry the next morning! Therefore, a closed balcony is not critical.
This is our first trip to the UAE and we visited:
1 Desert, Car safari and a dinner show program. I really liked the desert, but I didn't like the dinner.
2 Observation deck on the Palm Tree (here we had a great ride on all types of transport (bus, metro, tram, monorail), had dinner at the shopping center on the Palm Tree.
3 Observation deck on Burj Khalifa. We took tickets at 12.00, there were queues at the entrance and exit, but after we got out and when we walked around the Dubai Mall around 14.00-15.00, the queues were even bigger. We also went to the fountains on another day, it was beautiful, of course.
4 Took a boat trip to the Marina at sunset with dinner. It's a delight! Very beautiful views and a dinner atmosphere with light bulbs and music.
5 Day-to-Day souvenir purchases from Dubai opposite the bus stop, the dates there are decent for 11 dirhams, packed already. We also went to Dubai Carrefour for mango at 8 dirhams per kg, for Dubai chocolate and for Lipton tea with cardamom (delicious).
If I had been given a second chance to come to Dubai, I would not have changed anything and would have stayed at Golden Sands! Have a good rest, everyone!

We stayed at this hotel for 10 days from November to December 2024. We liked the hotel as a whole, we lived in room 410, it is an apartment on the 4th floor with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, its own kitchen, equipped with everything necessary for cooking and washing clothes. The noise from the road made it difficult to sleep the first night, then they got used to it. The service at the hotel is unobtrusive, of course they will not run after you, but they fulfill all necessary requests. The meals were breakfast, monotonous, but you won't stay hungry (delicious croissants and butter to them). The fruits were oranges, grapefruits, watermelon, melon, pineapple. There are 3 types of eggs, sometimes even meat dishes (but not enough, still breakfast), delicious rice. We went to Al Khan beach on a free transfer from the hotel, sometimes there were more people than seats, in this case we crowded and sat three by two in 2 places. But rarely anyone was dropped off. The hotel has a children's room with a wonderful young nanny (she hails from Kenya), you can leave children there for 3 hours every day for free, they paint, craft, play with them, it's very convenient. A wonderful girl Cheriti works as a babysitter, I want to express my special thanks to her, although she speaks only English, we understood each other.
Also, a pleasant, very smiling Balaguru employee works at the meeting of the guests on the ground floor, he was always kind and helped with things. There are no special attractions around the hotel, mostly shops and eateries, but you can still walk in the evening. Opposite the Sahara shopping center, there is an entertainment center on the top floor, attractions for all ages of children. There is even a fear room, the entrance is not cheap (in the region of 3 thousand rubles), but we have 1 person from the company who went there, he says the actors are frightening and really scary. In Sharjah, December 2 is the day of the nation, these days (December 1-2) you can visit museums for free, so we went to the aquarium and the museum of fisheries. And also these days there were discounts on attractions and at the hotel reception you could treat yourself to muffin-type cupcakes and draw free mehendi.
Fresh shrimps are very cheap in Nesto supermarkets, they were constantly being taken, as well as a lot of fruits and vegetables, the prices are very affordable, sometimes even lower than in Russia. Also, the Carlton hotel, which is located next to Al Khan beach, sells Dubai chocolate 200 grams for 15 dirhams of good quality.
We had a good rest on a budget, but we would have liked to be more active, it was a bit boring in this place, to be honest, it turned out to be a very relaxing family vacation.

We had a rest in the middle of September. I liked the location of the hotel. If you get to the Sahara Mall via an elevated passage, there is a passage to Dubai. You can also go through the underground parking. We bought a transport card in a small shop across the street and drove from the nearest bus stop to the Dubai Mall. We stayed with our family in this wonderful hotel. For us, he opened up only on the positive side. Very clean and beautiful, pleasant smell, excellent food. Spacious room, daily cleaning service. The staff is friendly, but there are no Russian speakers. Every day, a transfer to the sea departs 3 times from the hotel (9.00, 10.00, 11.00) and brought back 3 times a day (12.00,13.00, 14.00). The sea is transparent, clean, the beach is sandy. Beauty. The hotel has a small indoor pool with an outdoor terrace, but it is always in the shade of the main building of the hotel. They took everything on. Two children didn't want to run around in the heat looking for somewhere to eat. We have never regretted, the food is sooo delicious, breakfast, buffet, lunch, dinner, as in a restaurant, ordered, brought, cleaned. The portions are simply huge, everything that was ordered was eaten with pleasure. If you don't finish, they'll pack everything with you. To the beach by bus 9.10.11 return12, 13.14 hours. You can not be late, you leave on time, if you are late there is a taxi of 30 dirhams. There is a lot of Sugar nearby, and you can buy and cook food. I crossed the Sahara to the other side and took a taxi to Dubai, approximately 100, 130 dirhams. The tariff depends on the time. I liked the hotel as a whole. Our room was on the 23rd floor, there were no problems with elevators. The room itself is large with a large and comfortable bed, snow-white linen. The room also had all the necessary furniture (2 bedside tables, a sofa, a coffee table, a secretary with a mirror and a pouf, a huge chest of drawers with many drawers, a large wardrobe, several mirrors (one of them is huge all over the wall), there was more than enough storage space. There was also a refrigerator, iron, ironing board, kettle with tea accessories. Towels were changed every day. The bathroom has a separate toilet room. According to our diet, we only had breakfast (delicious and varied), and there was also a quite decent Italian restaurant in the hotel (we had lunch there a couple of times). What didn't you like: 1. The bathroom was poorly cleaned; 2. There is only 1 bus to the beach in the morning 1 time per hour, in the morning it is packed, if there is not enough space, you will have to take a taxi.

We rested at night in 2024. The rooms are "tired", but there are no problems with service and cleaning. Towels are changed daily, body care products, tea, coffee, sugar are replenished daily. Breakfast and dinners are also appropriate... Sometimes they have dinner in a restaurant, but they can offer tea there without warning you that it is not included in the free menu. At the end of the dinner, you will receive an additional bill (tea 14 dirhams approximately 350-400 rubles). The pool is in a semi-emergency condition

We visited this hotel in 2012, when it was still a Ramada. We decided to repeat the trip in 2023, because there was a large company, and we needed a large room. I still remember a room with everything I need, a living-dining room, a full kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a pull-out sofa in the living room. My memory did not fail, the rooms are huge, of course, but it looks like there has been no renovation since then. The old room stock, completely alienated staff, poor cleaning. The only plus is the views from the window from the upper floors.

I didn't like the hotel! We had a rest in November 2024. I wouldn't go a second time. It does not pull for 4 stars, but for a maximum of 3 stars. We lived for a week with a child at breakfast. The breakfasts are disgusting, there is nothing to eat except scrambled eggs and cereal. There are 5-6 pots, and there are only small gossamer noodles, beans floating in some kind of sludge and some other kind of disgusting inedible for Russian tourists. Pakistanis and Indians mostly live there. For them, this food is probably normal. There are very few pastries and they are not particularly fresh. Croissants are empty and one kind of buns, they constantly make sure that the bun is not taken out with them. A family with a small child who did not eat anything at breakfast was not even given a couple of buns to take. Of the fruits, only the watermelon is very finely chopped, which floats in the juice is not even pleasant to eat and the melon is also diced. There is no coffee machine, just a tank with instant coffee. In general, you will not get pleasure from eating. Transfer several times a day, there is nowhere to walk, solid roads. The fact that everyone is happy that the hotel is on the border with Dubai, but I did not see a plus in this, because you will not see any backyards there. We took an excursion to Dubai, that's what we liked. Beauty!!! It was also unexpected that they took a deposit of 200 dirhams upon arrival, about which Biblioglobus, for some reason, did not warn. You can't ask for water yet, they give 1.5 liters per room, they try to hold out until the evening so that they don't take it anymore. I had to fight about it. On the ground floor, they put a jar like with water, but they throw cucumbers from breakfast into it specifically so that they don't drink a lot! They would have thrown tomatoes there. In general, I do not advise it, we paid dearly for the ticket and left with some unpleasant aftertaste. Of the advantages, I can note that their beds are comfortable, that's all!

I had a rest at the hotel in May 2023. The hotel is great. While the rooms are being renovated. The rooms are huge. The staff is super responsive and friendly. The food is good. A free bus takes you to the beach, and large beach towels are provided beforehand. Entrance to the beach is free, but umbrellas and sun beds are paid. There is a toilet and changing rooms. We were checked into the wrong room that we booked, and we stayed in a room much lower in class for 2 days. After all the proceedings, we were moved to the room we had booked, the hotel did not apologize in any way, as if this was how it should be. Otherwise, everything is good, clean, the breakfast is not very varied, but you can eat.

We had a rest 2 years ago!A great hotel, rested in an apartment with a kitchen.Huge room, clean.There is a mosque nearby, but it didn't bother us.Of course, it's a long way to the beach and the bus was not convenient, but we were a few years ago, now everything is possible differently.Next to the Lu Lu store there is absolutely everything there and bought.Opposite the shopping center.Be careful with the taxi, because there is a border crossing which will be a completely different fare, you need to stop on the side of the Sugar Shopping Center.

The excellent location of the hotel, good food, everything in moderation and variety, an indoor swimming pool from which there is access to the terrace is great for relaxation; the staff works perfectly, a transfer to the beach is a 10-minute drive away. Everything is fine. Slightly outdated rooms, but overall the stay is comfortable!

Great place! Although a little time-worn already. Extremely polite staff, very tasty breakfasts that did not bother us for 2 weeks, convenient location, if you are by car, there is Parking with a valet, there are a lot of cool cafes around where to have a cheap dinner and a huge shopping center through the transition. Daily change of towels, washing dishes, cleaning. Of the minuses - except that it is the lack of Russian-speaking staff, a sad pool and in places very shabby furniture :) but this does not spoil the rest at all!

Decent hotel, friendly staff. We had a room with a view of the Sahara shopping center, in the morning you can't hear the mules, the mosque on the other side is 50 meters from the hotel. I liked the room very much, the renovation is not fresh, but everything is in good condition. The food is the same every day. Everything was delicious. Every morning sausages, omelets, vegetables, watermelon and melon, porridges, pastries, etc. There is a shuttle service to the beach. Advantageous location in Sharjah, but Dubai is already across the street.

Excellent hotel by location.
Large comfortable rooms with everything you need, including an iron. New mattresses, pillows and blankets, sweet sleep is provided. The furniture is a little old, but everything shines with cleanliness!

Transfer to Al Khan beach at 10 and 11.00. The beach towels are huge, of good quality, pleased.
It is better to take HB food, it is expensive outside the hotel, there is no food court in the Sahara, fast food mostly.
Delicious pizza in the hotel pizzeria.
About shopping - a great ZARA store in Deira City Center. The Waikiki brand was discovered in the Sahara.
Taxi 7-8 km 30 dirhams, to Dubai cross the Sahara and the road.

Good day to everyone. We were at the hotel from 2.02.2023 to 8.02.2023, room 313. Check-in is fast, no problems. The staff is friendly, there are Russian speakers. The food is good. My wife and I were without lunch, breakfast and dinner included. Everything that was tasted is very tasty. But this is our personal opinion. We liked it. Across the street is the Sugar Shopping Center. There is a supermarket to the right of the hotel in a five-minute walk, you can buy groceries and other goods. Behind the hotel on the third parallel street, a street with a dividing strip, near the park, there is a supermarket. One but... Couldn't find a souvenir shop near the hotel.
