The hotel is great, the food is super, the only thing that let me down is the room cleaning (she was almost absent) cocktails at the bar in the evening I do not advise, expensive and overcharged (from 10 to 20 euros for 1) of average lousy. The service is excellent, everything is super,
it is necessary to go here on vacation in the first days of June, few people, at the end of June and until mid-September there will be just a full house of vacationers and local room prices are 2 times higher.

A great hotel for a family holiday. The tourists are mostly foreigners. The sea is close, and the center of the village is a bit far - 15 minutes at a regular pace. A steam train is driving. The food is great. Champagne for breakfast.

The only normal hotel in Pineda de Mar.
The main contingent is the British.
The food is very good, but drinks are paid for at dinner in the evening, even if you are traveling all inclusive.
The sun beds by the pools are brand new, the pools are cleaned daily by robot vacuum cleaners, there is a lot of entertainment for children and adults, but all for 1-2 euros)). Sun beds are occupied before breakfast, even queues stand at the entrance to the pool in the morning. All with their own towels, but you can take them at the hotel, change towels to clean ones for 1 euro))) for each towel.
Great beach, few people on it. The water is clean, as the sand is very large.
The minus is the railway between the beach and the hotel, but the trains run quite quietly and not very often, the station is nearby if you get there on your own.
Another disadvantage is the rustic rooms and the excellent audibility of the neighbors. But at 22-23, everyone is already asleep except for some infants...(((
There are a lot of children in the hotel! Actually, a water park is made nearby for them.
If you are thinking of taking only breakfast, I do not recommend it, there are almost no restaurants and Cafes nearby. And if there is, the food there is so-so and quite expensive. There are nearby (20-30 meters from the hotel) shops where beer and drinks are much cheaper than in the hotel - the choice is economical!))
therefore, the hotel is a choice for tourists with children.
If you are driving, parking at the hotel is free.
I recommend a trip to the city of Girona nearby - those who love the flavor of the old narrow streets and monumental buildings of cathedrals will like it.
