The territory of the sanatorium is quite nice, clean, more or less well maintained. The lake is very close, the beach is clean, there are changing rooms and benches with awnings in places.
As for the rooms... I don't know about the others, I can only tell you about my own. She lived in the fifth building, on the fourth floor. During the week of stay, the room was cleaned only once - they smeared a damp cloth on the floor. The bathroom, if you can call it that, was not cleaned at all.
It seems that repairs have not been done since the time of the Soviet Union. Everything is shabby, there are dirty wallpaper patches on the walls, there is not even an elementary rug on the wooden floor. The sockets are "dancing". A refrigerator without a single shelf. In the closet, there are three child-sized hangers for two people, one upper shelf. The "bathroom" room is a separate story. The bathroom is combined. There is no bathroom curtain and when you take a shower, there is water everywhere. There is no tray under the shower, the drain holes are in the floor, but since the floor is curved, the water does not really go away and puddles gather around. The water had to be cleaned with a cloth.
Canteen. The food is fine, as in a regular canteen, but again the question is about cleanliness. A lot of chipped dishes. Tables are not properly wiped. Once unwashed forks were laid out for three of the four people at the table.
I can't say anything about the treatment, because I decided it was better to go on excursions than to sit in queues for half a day. But I heard from the guests that the treatment and procedures are very good.

It is now the beginning of July 2024, we are resting in the sanatorium in the first building. The building is renovated, everything is new. The sea is 100 meters away. The territory is green and well maintained. The room is comfortable, the food is excellent and varied. Treatment: we do not sit in queues, because the procedures are until 16.00- 17.00. Very friendly people live in Kyrgyzstan. Very! Weather. They write +20, it feels like +28 in the sun. The weather is changeable, but it does not interfere with rest. The lake is clean, the beach is sandy, smooth approach. The water is very refreshing! We also swam in the evening, the water in the lake is super! I don't want to go out. We recommend 100%.

People come here to swim and sunbathe on Issyk-Kul. The beach is sandy, the water is clean. The air is healing, pine and spruce trees grow here. There are many tours of gorges, mountains, waterfalls, mountain rivers and forests.
The staff at the sanatorium is polite if you behave accordingly, but be vigilant, if you have booked a suite room, you have the right to demand bathrobes, slippers, shampoo, shower gel, soap, hair dryer.... The price for such a room is cheaper than in the sanatoriums of Kazakhstan.
Treatment for those who have problems with the musculoskeletal system, joints or for the prevention of the respiratory tract.
The food in the sanatorium is quite normal, but like everything, it gets boring after a week of arrival. It's not a problem. There are many cafes with Oriental and European cuisine outside the gate.
The territory is clean, the paths have recently been updated, boutiques and cafes have been opened so as not to leave the gate.
If you are a positive person, you will like a lot of things. After all, people are coming here to recharge their batteries. Have a good rest!

The recreation area is excellent, although in the 3rd building, where we lived, it would be good to make repairs, but everything is fine, the territory is ennobled to the beach at hand and the food was varied and satisfying. Excellent sanatorium! We had a family vacation for 12 days and we really liked everything! The prices for the ticket are very affordable, for three of us in a two-room suite with meals, treatment and accommodation cost only 35600 per person! Meals are served three times a day, they are cooked like in a sanatorium! We had enough, we ate enough! The treatment is excellent, the mud clinic is just super! And of course Lake Issyk-Kul itself is just a pearl in the mountains! Sandy beaches, sandy bottom, clear and transparent water, comfortable temperature for the end of August!

I had an interesting experience to relax in this sanatorium in 2023. An amazing lake with clean and clear water, the bottom is sandy and a great beach!!! The sanatorium has all kinds of therapeutic procedures, and the opportunity to exercise. The prices are very affordable, price = quality. Do not expect VIP service and atmosphere - a normal Soviet sanatorium located on the shore of a mountain lake.
And the best thing is that massages helped me cope with back pain.

But at first glance, it feels like all this is the legacy of the Soviet Union and since then everything has remained at that level. As you know, the devil is in the little things. Leaking plumbing pipes, broken squeaky faucets, sockets falling out of the walls. The Kyrgyz, who repaired a huge number of buildings in Moscow, could not improve their sanatorium in an elementary way. The paths throughout the sanatorium are paved with concrete tiles. In places, this tile sticks up. In front of me, a Kyrgyz grandmother stumbled over such a ledge and crashed with all her might. He barely lifted her up. And there was nothing to do - just take a wooden or rubber mallet and level the tile. That is, you need to look at your feet.. The food in the dining room is quite normal. Again, this is not an all-inclusive Turkish hotel, but a sanatorium. Even in comparison with the sanatoriums of the Crimea, it seemed to me that the food was better and more diverse. Well done. For me, the biggest disadvantage was that smoking is allowed everywhere there. More precisely, it is allowed in certain places, but smoking is everywhere. It's useless to complain. Even at night, the neighbors smoke on the balcony and the smoke penetrates into the neighboring rooms. It is impossible to sleep. And the smoking guests don't give a damn about the fact that there are a lot of non-smokers around. In short, this is the main reason that I will never return to this sanatorium. All the advantages and positive aspects are crossed out by the ubiquitous tobacco smoke.. The lake is beautiful, the beach is big, there is enough entertainment.

We went to see the room, and there was a wooden door with a lock, like from a grandfather's gate, and rooms that died 20 years ago. It smells old, nothing has been changed since the foundation. We gave the keys to the receptionist, she offered to look at another room. It was better, of course, but not that. For tourists who have already been somewhere, this is not an option.

Good old Soviet sanatorium and prophylactic procedures, paraffin, Charcot shower, circular shower, mud, mineral baths.
And these walks along the shore of Issyk Kul, it's just bliss. The air is fresh, the water is clean, the seagulls are only annoying and loud ...)))
The food is good, without frills, but I have not felt a shortage more than once. There are different rooms, there are quite decent ones.
The staff is professional, polite, caring.
In the evenings, movies, concerts, discos.

The building was built in Soviet times, it is clear that the rooms are very small. We were ready for this. And you can close your eyes to everything except beds and mattresses. It seems that the mattresses are 40 years old. We asked to change the mattresses. We were assured that everything would be done on the same day, but we did not wait for the shift. The rooms are practically not cleaned, towels are not changed, there are no shelves in the bathroom, soap and shampoo are also not allowed. And I want to show a few nuances in the photo: a sink on one side- a mirror on the other; a shower in one place - a towel rack in another, a bedside rug for some reason at the door, and not near the bed; a dryer on the balcony is wired to the railing because it is broken ... but otherwise, a beautiful Marquise, It's okay, it's okay!

I came to Kyrgyzstan to Issyk-Kul for the first time. I chose a sanatorium based on reviews. I don't understand the reasons for the delightful reviews. The sanatorium has been in need of repair for a long time. There are old tiles with mold on the walls in the pool, it's time to replace the plumbing equipment in the showers. The medical part of the voucher also leaves much to be desired. We spent more time in the corridor, in the queue, and not on procedures. We rested for two weeks, of which only in the second week dirt appeared for medical procedures. Judgment food. A teapot with one tea bag is offered on the table for four people. There were soups, noodles, rice, pilaf a couple of times, dumplings once, stewed pepper. There is practically no meat. Pilaf is sprinkled with finely chopped meat, purely for the smell. There was chicken, always stewed and not very tasty. A couple of times mashed potatoes, but it is impossible to eat it, absolutely not edible, Watery and tasteless. The pastries are delicious, buns, cookies-and that's it! We went with a 2-year-old child, specially took a two-room suite. The room is renovated, this is an undoubted plus, but there are so many small shoals left that you are just surprised. There are traces of grout on the tile, inscriptions with a marker, in some places the protective film has not been removed from the plastic doors, the windows are dirty. There are no shelves for placing toiletries. BUT, there was a hair dryer, although we were warned that we needed to take it with us and we brought our own. Shampoo, soap, everything was brought with them. There is a dryer on the balcony. On the fourth day, they washed the floor themselves, there was no cleaning. A week later they asked to change the bed. The next week, the cleaning consisted of a wiped floor, the plumbing and the bathroom were not washed. There is a cinema where films were shown in Russian and Kyrgyz. The cost is 200som, it could be done for free or purely symbolically. We didn't go. Discos were held in the evening in front of the fifth building. Dancing. This is almost all entertainment. We ordered the excursions ourselves. The territory also requires maintenance. Roses are wonderful, thuja, pine, spruce-beautiful! The paint on the benches has already peeled off... In general, the sanatorium is like a homeless person. Not well maintained. The lake, the mountains, the air are beautiful! Will we come back again? I don't know. Maybe not to this sanatorium. ... The treatment is average, there is no nutrition.. they didn't see much comfort either.

I had the temerity to visit the sanatorium "Blue Issyk-Kul" on July 29-August 06, 2023. There is nothing basic in the room. Air conditioning at +35? No, it won't. An extra towel? It's not supposed to. Mold in the corners? So what? Every time you go to the sink, you don't know if there will be water in the faucet. For a hot one, you need to run, as soon as you run, have time to wash because the pressure drops. We make the shabby bed ourselves, it's not a royal thing for a maid. Wi-Fi is only on the ground floor in the area of 10 meters from the reception. In the complete absence of sockets for working on a laptop. The electrician has neither an extension cord nor a tee. She turned off the massage chair (a means of making money), for which she was repeatedly barked at by the madam with the reception and the vacationing local population. Yes, why? The food in the sanatorium is close to the free food of the antisocial strata!Come on! Examples of dishes: oatmeal porridge on water in the evening, fried egg with pasta for the second lunch, tiny hard pieces of meat in the system, cucumber salad with carrots in the system. The fruit season is in full swing, but we are not pampered. Sugar is clearly measured and only for dinner. A table knife? We don't know such words. Every dinner is a sour ayran that no one drinks. The cherry on the cake is one tea bag per two liters of boiling water. Can you guess about the color and taste of the drink from the sanatorium's medical menu? If you want a normal tea, you need to go up and bow to the girl at the entrance to the dining room. Complete unsanitary conditions when receiving procedures. Sagging, rotten sofas in the lobby of the fifth building. There are three barely breathing elevators on the seven floors of a building with fifty rooms on each, one of which is forever broken. For my bad behavior, i.e. refusal to receive a paid consultation with a cardiologist, in the presence of the results of a week-old examination and with a dynamics of two years, the doctor punished me in an irritable form with the following procedures: salt room, coniferous baths, inhalations. I can take it at home. Salt room entrance courtyard. Inhalation, it's walking into a room and breathing a blue fog being pumped from somewhere. Humidity is 100℅. Not a single cardio support procedure. I have no problems with my lungs. In the end, what was paid for? For staying in a rotten room with a minimum of conditions? For the tasteless nutrition of pale green shades? For treatment under the motto "get what you were given and get out"? Aggressive behavior of the staff in the system. No beauty salon, no gym, no entertainment program. Security, video surveillance of the territory and on the floors are completely absent from the word. A separate song is the reaction of the staff, the local population - I don't like it, don't come. Only the chest Kyrgyz did not say, "We did not invite you here." Without hesitation, when THEIR question is "How is it resting? "you answer as is. According to the results of the stay of 9 days, the already disrespectful management of the sanatorium, I have three news for you. You won't believe it, but this is the 21st century. Second. The whole world has switched to contactless payment with plastic cards. The flow of unaccounted-for funds bypassing the state is striking in its scale. And the third. Any self-respecting institution provides guests with Wi-Fi at any point on its territory. So gentlemen, "paid reviews", do not take a sin on your soul, do not paint this institution as the best sanatorium in the world. Well, if you are not familiar with the norms of civilization, at least do not try to express your opinion. People of the world, think hard before choosing this horror!!! In the end, upon departure, I was once again convinced of the service for the guests. Even the INTERNATIONAL airport does not accept cards, there is no Internet access. The room was renovated in the 1st building, but for a C grade, because the doors to the balcony were creepy, creaked, did not close, the room was cleaned only 2 times in 2 weeks!!! The bed linen was changed 1 time!, towels 2 times. Problems with the Internet, medical facilities since the Soviet era. In general, nature, the waters of Issyk Kul and the mountains, definitely added 2 stars to mine)

It's been 4 days and I can't decide anything, did I come 500 km away to lie down? The pool resembles a swamp, where both men and women are all together, the microrefaction for the pool is not rented, all the tiles on the walls are covered with mold. We had a rest in this sanatorium in July 2017 and this year - August 2021. Issyk-Kul itself is an amazing place! Indeed, a place to relax. The sanatorium itself has remained since Soviet times. We lived in building 5. The feeling that nothing has changed. We took another "superior" room. In principle, we didn't spend much time in the room, as we went to the beach and took a walk. But still, the sanatorium needs to be repaired! The influx of tourists will increase if the rooms really look like in the photo and become comfortable.
Beaches should also be cleaned.
In general, the area is quite comfortable and beautiful. Dietary nutrition is provided. There are treatments and other procedures for those who wish.
