Not far from the Ritsa there is an amazing place - the Blue Lake. The most beautiful place. The lake is surrounded by rocks. With an area of 180 square meters, the largest depth is 76 meters, so it is quite deep. The amazing blue color of the water, for some reason is still unknown even to scientists, there are many versions. The water is very cold, they say that even in very hot weather it does not warm up above 9 degrees. But it doesn't freeze in winter either. The surface of the water is very calm, although there are many undercurrents and a waterfall flows into the lake itself. Nothing and no one alive lives or grows in the lake. The water is not only cold, but also very clean and transparent, although sometimes it seems cloudy, this is an illusion due to the refraction of sunlight and depth. Of course, like all popular tourist destinations, the locals here trade in abundant souvenirs, wine (I do not advise), and offer to take pictures with pheasants. Prices are naturally overpriced. So it's better not to go near this mini market. But I advise you to visit the lake itself, it is stunningly beautiful.
The place is beautiful, the water is icy, but transparent. Then it turns into a waterfall and a mountain river.
Nearby, of course, there are places with pheasants and other 'photo outfits'😀 I read tourist reviews and think about how lucky I was that no one came up to me and spoiled my vacation, the locals just stood lazily and looked at the flow of tourists🤣 We also came as part of the tour). There is a zipline for tourist entertainment.
Nearby, of course, there is a mini market where they sell all sorts of local stuff. I recommend not to buy wines in such places, it is better to go to some local winery where tastings are held and real and delicious wines are poured, the comrades from the tour were very pleased))
A great beautiful place!
You can take a bungee ride
You can take a walk and see
Great beautiful views
But there will be a lot of people there, and a couple of wine drinkers)
Parking problems)
But all these nuances will not overshadow the beauty of nature!
I recommend it!
