I recommend you to visit! I liked the museum. Very rich in artifacts, exhibits and information support. There is a lot of military equipment in the backyard. Souvenirs can be purchased inside. The staff is very polite and friendly. As it turned out, after we left the museum, we entered it under closure, but the staff did not even say a word to us that they were closing soon, they sold tickets without any problems and after the end of working hours patiently waited for another 30 minutes until we finished the inspection. We are the grandchildren of the Winners of the Great Patriotic War. We are lucky to keep the memory of those events firsthand. This museum perfectly refreshes, complements this memory and plunges into history. Therefore, it is obligatory for the younger generation to visit! Parents, take your children, explain to them, tell them so that it is passed down from generation to generation! As long as we remember, the feat of our people and our Winners will live forever!
The most interesting museum. I am very pleased with the availability of entrance tickets and the scale of the exhibition composition. I really liked the courtyard with a huge number of military and other equipment. It was especially pleasant when the staff invited me to sit in the cockpit of the aircraft, when they saw my interest and careful attitude to the exhibits
A super museum! I recommend spending money on an excursion where they will tell you about military affairs on the territory of Belarus from ancient times to our time. An interesting exposition, there are unique exhibits. In the courtyard there are exhibits of military equipment from the famous T-34, to airplanes and helicopters!
A wonderful museum! A great place to study military history. The theme halls are well made.
Denis A. Kovalchuk, the tour guide, is a professional!!! Special thanks to him from tourists from Bryansk with two small children💜
I really liked the museum and this one and the neighboring and related to it - the Museum of criminology - the museums are small and cozy, there are many interesting exhibits - everything is described in detail in other reviews. But I have a big question - why is it so difficult to see with a guided tour? It's a day off, there were several people who wanted to go on an excursion with me (except me) - but they called somewhere and refused ... the museum doesn't need money? Everything is so good and excellent financing? It was possible to unite people and take 2 times the amount! When I tried to ask questions to the female girls in the hall, they could not answer 🤷♀️ I really hope that the management will add guides and competent staff to the military museum and the Museum of criminology!
It's not a big museum, but it's an interesting one. A pleasant guide who tells interesting stories and answers questions. The museum touches on different eras. Interesting exhibits. In the courtyard there is military equipment, guns, tanks, an airplane, helicopters and even a whole locomotive with wagons. You can even sit in one of the helicopters.
(But shhh, it's a mystery))
In the absence of metropolitan splendor and scope, the regional Museum of Military Glory is at a very decent level, performs the necessary functions for its scale. The halls are small in size, of which there are 8, it is noted for its neat condition, emphasized by the careful storage of historical exhibits, most of which are under glass. And military equipment - tanks, self-propelled guns, cannons, helicopters, airplanes, a steam locomotive with an ambulance car - in the courtyard under the open sky. At the same time, as it is easy for visitors to notice, precipitation does not harm the main group of equipment, but a canopy would not hurt cars and a tractor from a small courtyard.
The general's uniforms of P.I. Batov and A.V. Gorbatov were placed in one closet - it turned out, interestingly, in rhyme. Exhibits related to the Great Patriotic War occupy their rightful central place, therefore, great attention is paid to Marshals Kostantynych - Rokossovsky and Zhukov, who commanded the First Belarusian Front in different periods. In one of the photo frames inserted in my review, you can see a shirt from Rokossovsky's military uniform in a glass cube (it's easy to guess that the marshal had other shirts during the 4 years of the Second World War, which can be found in some museum).
Halls 3 to 6 are dedicated to the events of the Great Patriotic War (Hall 4 - "Occupation regime in Gomel region (1941-1944)", Hall 5 - "Partisan and underground movement, liberation of Gomel region", Hall 6 - "Victory is one for all"), and the first two, as well, like the 7th and 8th, they talk about military affairs from other periods of history (Hall 1 - "The military history of the region from ancient times to the end of the nineteenth century", Hall 8 - "Internationalist warriors").
So, the museum man is NOT WEAK, rather, he is even strong!
I have never seen a museum of this level before. There are a lot of different exhibits, everything is very informative. It was interesting to visit and study everything. Despite the apparent smallness of the museum, there are many viewing halls and platforms
I took the child here very often, so he liked to admire the military equipment. Autumn is clean and tidy on the territory. Good well-maintained equipment.
Convenient location in Gomel, no need to search and convenient to get to. Inspired guides and very interesting excursions, and the outdoor area with military equipment is generally amazing. You plunge into the story in full.
The museum is quite interesting. The expositions are well prepared. There are many interesting exhibits. The information support is good. Everything is clear and understandable.
A wonderful, informative museum, a very interesting guide, who told us everything in an accessible and very interesting way. Even the children listened very carefully))) thank you so much for such excursions))
An interesting museum. It is small, but there are a lot of exhibits. The boys will especially like the exhibition of military equipment in the courtyard of the museum.

The Museum of Military Glory is small, but very impressive. It has a rich collection of exhibits that is worthy of your attention. Definitely worth a visit!
A very interesting museum. When visiting
Gomel is mandatory! Friendly staff. The museum is located on two floors, and the museum also has a courtyard where military equipment (train, tanks, planes, etc.) is located
An interesting and informative guided tour for those who are interested in history.

A gorgeous museum! I definitely recommend you to visit! Despite the small territory, there are a lot of unique exhibits! The staff is very friendly, the price is reasonable, there are discounts for certain social groups of the population. Both adults and children liked it! A visit to this museum should, in my opinion, be included in the mandatory program along with the palace!
It is very interesting to visit, we have been to many museums, although this one is regional, but we liked it. We recommend that you go there when visiting Gomel. There is military equipment on the street.
The expositions are selected very competently, a lot of information, everything is conveniently located, there is a guide for organized groups, the staff is polite and courteous, tickets are cheap
Not a museum, but the devil knows what. As if it is only necessary to stuff all kinds of weapons and military equipment, and to hang photos of ALL the officers of the Gomel region, that's the museum of "military glory.
Historical references are sometimes questionable (,,700 thousand Belarusians, or 1/3 of the country's population died during the Northern War"???), and, unfortunately, the museum staff does not know a drop of the information that is presented in their hall. They are dissuaded by the fact that they are only caretakers, and they have no right to answer questions. They also don't want to call a researcher. To answer the questions you are interested in, you need to buy an excursion.
Very interesting excursions. There are many exhibits. There is something to see. The tickets are not very expensive. The equipment is well preserved at the exhibition on the territory of the museum.
Everything is cool. Very interesting. We wanted to have a guide, but there was not enough guide for us, because we arrived during the autumn holidays (we arrived at the wrong time) and we probably just didn't have enough of him, there were a lot of groups with children. Everything is fine, the prices are reasonable.
Very informative. There are many interesting exhibits. I was especially impressed by the letters of real people. You need to read it and remember it. The museum staff are friendly. Thank you.
The Museum of Glory and Victory. We remember after centuries, after years. About those who will never come again...It is necessary to visit and pay tribute to those who made our day.

I really enjoyed the tour, thanks to Robert, the guide. There are a huge number of weapon expansions of all times. Great attention to detail, I liked the hall dedicated to Afghanistan and the hall of the First World War. There is a lot of military equipment in the courtyard of the museum, which will be very pleasant for children of primary school age. I recommend everyone to visit necessarily.
A good museum, we went together with our whole class, a lot of all sorts of predilections!

It's a cool museum. I visited in 2022, I really liked the exhibits both inside and outdoors. There are a lot of exhibits, a decent collection for a regional museum. Polite staff, the ticket price is ridiculously small!
I recommend it!
I am delighted with the museum. The coolest museum we've ever visited. There are a lot of equipment, expositions, and a steam locomotive and an ambulance car are something special.
A cool museum, it will be interesting from young to old and it doesn't matter what gender you are, what is displayed on the street you can touch, climb and of course take a picture on a tank under an airplane and take a walk on the train)))
An interesting museum for fostering patriotism and respect for its history. The museum's exposition is good.there are a lot of documentary materials and all kinds of weapons, both indoors and outdoors.
A very interesting place, I recommend visiting. For the first time I saw with my own eyes a steam locomotive, an ambulance car. Thanks to our ancestors for the Victory!
Excellent exposure. There are a lot of exhibits of weapons. The stories of individuals and their battle path
Photo awards, I advise everyone not to be bored
I was at the museum with a group of international students, the tour was boring not only for them, but also for me. I didn't have enough professionalism. Although, we must pay tribute, there are a lot of exhibits in the museum, there is something to see
A great place, especially interesting for the younger generation from 12 to 45 years old. Visiting is good to use for fostering patriotism in our difficult times.
A very good museum. A rich exposition. Sections from antiquity to the war in Afghanistan are presented. In the yard, children can climb on military equipment. There is an airplane, a steam locomotive with flowerpots and armored vehicles.
