Gomel Circus celebrated its 50th anniversary this year, and the 51st season has begun. And so, after a long break, I bothered to visit this institution, which is very necessary for the children's part of the people. As always, candy babies make up half of all viewers. Not so
I visited many stationary circuses in order to make a full-fledged comparison, but also what the guests of the powerful house No. 27 on Sovetskaya Street find deserves an excellent assessment.
As a child, the circus seemed huge. It used to happen: while you walk around the cloakroom sections located in the subtribe rooms, the idea comes to mind that the right and left sides, into which the amphitheater is divided, are 2 separate arenas, the circus performers will first perform on one site, then on the other. But the impressions of those years when you were young and not tall are long gone. And in fact we have a compact circus of medium size, an amphitheater of 14 rows (there used to be 15), divided into 8 sectors, approximately 1,500 seats (more precisely, if I'm not mistaken, 1504).
Next to the circus building there is a monument to the famous artist Karan d'ash (M.N. Rumyantsev), and this statue is superfluous, Of course, it didn't. However, more relevant, not canceling, of course, Karan d'asha, I see the installation of a monument nearby to Irina Asmus, the legendary clown Toffee, whose last, unfortunately tragic, performance happened here.
So let's drink to the fact that the line from Vysotsky's song "Look how it turns, impudent ..." refers to many circus acts in a very positive sense!

It is certainly possible with children when entertainment programs are held in the likeness of a circus. If I'm not mistaken, 1 ticket is allowed with children under 3 years old (please specify when buying). Buying a circus ticket can be expensive from 40-100 rubles. Children aged 12-14 are unlikely to be interested. The staff is more or less. The repair is good. Some events require good preparation, which may delay the event itself by 5-10 minutes.

Everything is very well organized, the circus workers will not let you get lost, it is very comfortable inside. The temperature, light and sound are perfectly tuned. The seats are comfortable, the people sitting in front do not interfere. Regarding the very idea that there was a separate word at the beginning of January - it was just amazing. Adults may not be so interested, but the whole world opens up to children. There are only 2 circus buildings in Belarus and one of them is in Gomel. The state has not allowed this place to be turned into a shaman and it still pleases people.
