The library is universal. Books, short stories, and so on will tell you. The staff was kind. It's just a pity that you can't take books with you for painting, and one photo costs 16 kopecks.
The Hall of Foreign Literature is a special love!!! So cozy! There are comics and classics in different languages. Beautiful albums with sights. A huge Marvel encyclopedia. I won't say about the rest of the library, but it is very large
Not a bad library. There is a fairly large selection of literature. It's great that there is an opportunity to choose one through an electronic catalog according to your criteria
A good fund, you can successfully use the selection of literature, it is not expensive. I would also like to mention English language courses, high quality, affordable price in a pleasant place.
Few people, free Wi-Fi, can be used as a coworking. A lot of literature, helpful staff, a lot of modern books. Admission by a reader's ticket is not expensive. There are many departments in which there is a lot of diverse literature. For lovers of music and needlework, contact the art department, if the issue is legal, the reference and information department. Literature on in is needed. Languages, there is a department of in. Literature. There is a lot of fiction in the subscription. There is also a very intimate atmosphere, you can take a lot of vintage-style photos.

Great library. A selection of books for every taste and color. A library card costs 2 BYN-it is made for 4 years. Polite staff. I often take different books there to read, and I want to tell you guys that you will definitely find a book there according to your interests.
Modern books, classics. For every taste. Librarians are lovely, wonderful girls. They will help, prompt, tell you. A wonderful place for those who like to read
A cozy library, a good selection of literature. Various events are often held on the basis of this library. The staff is competent, attentive, and can always recommend the right book. I recommend
I started going to this library when there was no Internet. I'm walking with my students now. Great place, helpful staff. During the holidays, they help in organizing interesting and informative leisure activities for children. I advise everyone to visit the Rare Book Museum. And in general, the rustling of the pages of a book, reading, which moves to thought, to search - this is what is so lacking.
Will go. But it is very boring and not interesting. I think I just spent the money. For an amateur. But if you just go to read, then this is the very thing
Your websites are packed with information that is interesting only to your employees. And the reader needs a work schedule, literature catalogs and event announcements (not blurred lyrics). And more. The impression that we do not have a secular state, but an Orthodox one, is too much attention in the "events" of biblical mythology with Orthodox sauce.
The largest library in the city with a million-dollar fund! 9 departments: subscription, rare book, reference, department of foreign literature, department of literature on art, local history, general reading room, department of periodicals.
It's a pretty suspicious place. I wanted to sign up to take books home and read, but I was refused such a service, because I do not have a permanent residence permit in Gomel. That's how I look like a book thief😄
The first time I got there was during a field trip in my freshman year. The second time was while writing the term paper. Then I forgot about the library for 3 years, returned for literature to the diploma. Responsive librarians (or what are their positions?) they helped to sort out the internal search engine, even suggested a couple of sources for the diploma. Always polite.
The presence of many modern books is pleasantly surprising, but the assortment is still very strange. There is a lot of fiction, and worthwhile foreign literature often cannot be taken home, because it is located in another department. Or it doesn't exist at all :)
Pleasant atmosphere. I recommend attending the meetings of the Scientific Cafe, which take place every 3rd Thursday of the month. The schedule is in VK, the topics are different throughout the year, you can choose something interesting for yourself.
Always a normal attitude, though the weekends are not entirely clear...but there is something that is not in Herzen...I asked there, they didn't find it, but they brought it to Lenin in 3 minutes...Go ahead and read it...
The library is disgusting, the staff at the exit is disgusting, when they registered, they didn't really explain anything, they were rude and went about their business. I do not recommend it
