The excellent location of the hotel is the 1st line of the golden mile. Yes, the hotel is not new, but many buildings in Durban are like this. The furniture is excellent, everything works, an outlet for all connectors. The staff is friendly, starting from the receptionist at the reception and ending with the maids. A slightly strange cleaning system - first one maid takes off her underwear and leaves, and the other one makes up after, but (!) the staff quickly remembered when I left and I did not notice the cleaning, and in general they always do this in South Africa (I learned from other tourists). Everyone at the hotel will help you with any question, in general, in any situation. Although my English is not very good, it was not a problem. Delicious breakfast, a little monotonous, but for me it's not a minus - coffee, scrambled eggs and dessert will always be for you. There is very tasty food in the room, well, very much! And at the same time it is quite cheap - about 500 rubles for a steak. They take into account your requests - I asked for a higher floor, we went to a meeting, all the declared options will be without overlays, I had an ocean view turned on - everything was, and not as usual in Turkey. I was also pleased that the room for two had 2 normal, comfortable beds, and not a folding chair/cot. Restaurants, bars, a grocery store and a pharmacy are within walking distance.
