On vacation at the Gagra market, my son's dog was bitten by a 5-year-old son, not much, but still, they ran up from the nearest stalls, advised me to go to this hospital, they accepted it without problems, gave me an injection
A normal hospital. Excellent doctors. Whoever says that there is no medicine in Abkhazia is wrong. My granddaughter, rotavirus, got sick on vacation. At the hospital, without unnecessary questions and filling out a bunch of papers, they accepted, helped, and gave recommendations for treatment. Thank you very much
They treated like many people with rotavirus in a child, waited in line for 4 hours, plus chased around the offices for an unfortunate piece of paper like a referral! At the same time, they ran around themselves, bought everything they needed for an IV and plus, pay them 1.5k type for an IV with our own drugs. In short, I do not recommend either a hospital or a country to travel with children!
Wonderful kind doctors and nurses are here. And in the emergency department, and in the nursery. They helped my child a lot with rotavirus. They were put on their feet for a couple of hours after severe dehydration.
The old hospital building deserves special attention. Stunningly beautiful.
I implore you not to get there !!!!!in September, my mother was brought hepatitis-c there!!!!
before the trip, they took tests everything was fine, in front of the sanatorium,I grabbed rotavirus there and got into this hospital, they did droppers at random, there was anyone in the ward, I really hope that after this review they will take care of this hospital
They accept everyone. They love money very much. A urine test costs 500 rubles in the hands of a laboratory assistant. Ultrasound does not work on weekends. If you need to cure rotovirus, then this will be done without problems. But if we are talking about any surgical or gynecological pathology, then you should go to Adler.
We got to the infectious diseases department with our daughter (2 years old), we bought all the medicines ourselves, the holes in the walls of the ward were sealed with mounting foam! If it hadn't been for the hospital doctors who gave temporary treatment and offered to go to Adler, then there would have been hell!!! Thank you for the help of doctors Miranda Valerianovna and Aigul Angamovna!
The specialists are excellent. I was struck by humanity and a desire to help. You don't see that very often now. Very clean. The building is being renovated.
Many thanks to the traumatologist on duty and his medical staff.my sister was treated on Friday evening, with a bite from a wild animal, they made a rabies vaccine, explained everything, did not take money. Thank you very much!

We read an honest review about rototravoenie
Call 003 is it bad for you?
So go or go or crawl to this hospital you will be accepted. 003 doesn't do that here
We came and really accepted
The hospital is like a hospital, there's nothing terrible here
They dug it out, they gave me a list of medicines.
We said thank you, left thanks and left
Not a single pharmacy in Gagra works, there is no pharmacy in the hospital either
Good health to all employees, thank you again.
In 2021, we were on vacation, my wife had appendicitis, had to have surgery, the doctors did well, they did everything perfectly, (true for dengue, but this is their job, which should be paid) for two days and my wife was on her feet, the Soviet Union really stopped at the hospital.
I was here in the summer of 2021, shabby walls, dirty, nowhere to sit, terrible queues to see a doctor. It is a monstrous sight in what conditions doctors work in this hospital. The doctor sits in a vacant, poorly lit room on a bed and literally on his knees writes out recommendations to patients, and several patients at once....There was a terrible unsanitary situation at sea and a huge number of patients with rotovirus, the hospital administration does not care about its doctors or patients. It's hard to call this place a hospital.
Thank you very much to the children's department for their help. At night, a 6-year-old child has vomiting and diarrhea. They went to the hospital, examined us, gave us an injection for vomiting and fever, told us in detail how to treat, prescribed medications.
The child became very ill with rotovirus, constant vomiting, she could not drink herself, they called a taxi to the hospital, it was useless to call an ambulance, she would come, they took us on a birth certificate, started a story, the doctor quickly examined, prescribed medicines for a dropper, next to a pharmacy they can be bought there, it came out about 300 rubles. In total, the child was given 3 ivs, and had to stay overnight. Thank God everything went well, they were cured. Doctors and nurses work there hard, people come to the children's department for 30 people a day, they dig them up and let them go, who needs to come the next day. No one was rude to us, the attitude is normal. About the hospital itself - the children's department is now closed for repairs, so they were allocated several old wards, of course the wards are creepy, the mattresses are dirty, they have not seen repairs since the Soviet Union, but even this can be tolerated when the child is ill. Not even all doctors take money to the account, depending on whose shift they get on, they will take 500-1000 rubles no more. In general, Abkhazia is a beautiful place, it is very sad that the country is in such a state...
We came to this hospital with a small child. Strong intaxification and temperature 40.3. The doctor sees everyone! It doesn't matter if you're a local or a tourist. I mean, the human attitude. According to the state of the hospital, namely the children's department on the 3rd floor, to say HORROR is to say nothing. There is not enough linen or it is simply not there. We had a critical situation and I didn't care that the old dirty mattress was without everything, they lowered the temperature faster and saved my child's life. I've seen a lot of good and bad things, but this hospital made me cry.... Why do local officials allow this?! Your children may also find themselves there, where there are no conditions! Complete unsanitary conditions!!!! THANKS TO THE DOCTOR FOR THE QUICK HELP. I couldn't take a photo, because I was depressed by what I saw.
The staff is nice and helpful! The condition of the hospital is in good condition! It's much worse in my city! We are very grateful to pediatricians! They helped !

They were in August 2024. They listened, they told me, they didn't take the money. Very nice doctors.
Devastation, not even a nurse!! I was with a child with rotovirus, severe dehydration. The children lay in piles, the nurse was alone in the entire department, bought medicines at their own expense, waited 2 hours for an IV to be put on. As a result, they charged some amount for services, I don't remember. The horror!!! I don't advise anyone. Oh, yeah... On the stairs in front of the children's department, an abhaz was standing and smoking!!! A scoop, a village, a nightmare... 2 stars for at least helping
We are contacting this hospital for the second time, the first time we treated rotovirus, everything turned out to be an injection and I was able to drink myself at home, but this year, unfortunately, I had to go to bed... the child has vomiting, diarrhea, and a temperature that did not go down…We were admitted without any problems, a bed was allocated... the doctor gave us a list to buy all the medicines, the pharmacy is located in the same building, very convenient.I am very grateful to the doctor and nurse for accepting and helping
Very polite, good doctors and staff, quickly told where to go with the child, conducted, a professional doctor, examined prescribed medications, gave an injection, offered to take tests (and at times it is faster than in our city) if there are no improvements, it cost all 600 rubles along with the injection.
Admission of 500 rubles is a lot of people .One doctor for everyone . We stood in line for 5 hours .

They were accepted quickly, they did not take money for the reception, there were no people, they prescribed medicine and sent home, the building is beautiful but everything inside is old.
Many thanks to the staff of the Gagra maternity hospital. Real professionals, kind, attentive. Full support, from admission to discharge. The cleanliness is monitored, the cleaning is timely. The buildings are old, but the renovation inside is quite decent. Everywhere there is silence, peace, balconies with sea views. In general, it's cooler than in a sanatorium. Good health to all!!

I had to visit. Thanks to the pediatricians, they pumped the child out of the hard rotavirus. I had to lie under ivs for several days.
I will not wish anyone to be in my situation. A vacation at sea and a hospital are not compatible. I couldn't cope with inflammation of the pancreas on my own. I was very worried about what kind of treatment? Will they help or not? And in vain, I got to the surgical department to wonderful doctors and responsive nurses. Thanks!!!
The provision of services is good, but for everything, including a bed, you need to pay for your pocket, for example, the head of the therapeutic department, and money is also taken for medicines
The staff is nice and kind. The hospital is in terrible condition - there has been no repair, apparently for many years, although work is underway in the children's department
The doctors and nurses are amazing! Everyone is kind to all patients, regardless of registration and the availability of a policy. Doctors are real professionals in their field. They put me in the surgical department, I didn't want to leave))) Of course, it would not hurt to repair the building, but now there are rarely hospitals with good repairs. The main thing is that the help is provided quickly and professionally. In general, I don't want to get sick in Moscow anymore, only in Gagra)
The state of medicine in Abkhazia, if not shocked me, then upset me for sure. I was vaccinated involuntarily, went into the office, which I was told about at the reception and asked if I would be vaccinated. A nurse comes out into a dirty corridor with a filled syringe, without even asking me for the documents that I was assigned! I asked where to pay, you need to pay directly in the office... But the main outrage is that a doctor came out in the common corridor, stood in the middle and chatted with a cigarette in his hands!! The windows are closed, there are people with children!!
