Thank you very much to the staff of the Sukhumi Infectious Diseases Hospital! We were lying with a child in the children's department - such a kind, humane attitude, such a competent approach to treatment, such delicious hospital food and such comfortable conditions in the ward were not found in any Russian hospital. Russia needs to learn from Abkhazia in this regard! I'm in a pleasant shock. Thank you to Nurse Irina for the kindness and care from Eva from Krasnodar! I want to say that this is almost the first time I have met with such a medical staff of the children's department of the hospital, starting from the emergency room and ending with the chief physician. I admire them, and I want to say a huge thank you!Everything is very fast, high-quality, they do not delay a minute. I have seen many hospitals in my life in connection with my son's diagnosis and I have never met such a humane attitude anywhere! Indeed, they often come in and ask about the child's well-being, whether everything is fine, every morning they go round with the chief doctor and for a reason they came in, talked and left, and the head himself is interested in how the child feels, delves into everything! All medicines were provided, we are citizens of the Russian Federation and I did not hear a conversation about money from any employee! I am very pleasantly surprised by the separation! Of course, I would like such employees to work in a modern center, the hospital needs repair! All the nurses are very nice, attentive and professional, the kids get into the vein the first time! Thank you again!I hope the Sukhumi administration will someday repair the hospital because these employees deserve other conditions!

In short, all the positive reviews about this hospital are true. We had a vacation in September 2024 in Abkhazia and the child caught rotavirus, the disease was very severe. At first they thought to take them to the hospital in Adler, but after reading the reviews, they decided to go to Sukhumi, since it was much closer and they did not regret it. Yes, of course, the appearance of the hospital building is a little confusing, but we saw that they were doing repairs there. Indeed, all medications, tests and meals (at the hospital) are free of charge. The attitude of the medical staff is good. A man also came to the reception department, either the head of the department or the chief physician, well done, organized the work on the spot. Thanks to all the medical staff for the reception and treatment. I would really like the state to take more care of the condition of the hospital and encourage such workers.

We are tourists from Russia. Our child has contracted an intestinal infection. At night, especially in the morning, it was very bad, dehydration. We arrived at this hospital, they didn't ask for our documents, they just asked about what was bothering us and immediately did everything necessary, put on an IV. The next day, the child was on the mend. They didn't take the money. Doctor Tsvizhba Guscha Vissarionovna and nurse Gorzolia Shchazina Zurabovna helped us. Professionals with a capital letter. A child was brought in with a diagnosis (which was made by doctors) of rotovirus, on the night of 08/14/2024, they put ivs and let him go home. During the next day, the symptoms of the disease persisted, plus a rise in temperature. We went back to the hospital. Repeated ivs are paid. They asked for water, and we were sent to the store. When asked what drugs were administered at night, the doctor replied, "The card is in the archive."

Doctors and nurses work here with a capital letter! We came to Sukhum on vacation, the child caught an intestinal infection. On August 19, at about 13.00, they brought us to the children's department, we were immediately admitted, asked for symptoms, prescribed treatment and put on an IV. They didn't take any money. I would like to express my special gratitude to Dr. Gudis Shotovich for his professionalism, humanity and great kind heart. We are tourists, the child was diagnosed with angina. The doctor prescribed the right treatment, they gave the child a drip so that there would be no dehydration. I arrived without a child to show my son's tests - the doctor did not refuse, talked to me, adjusted the treatment. A day later, we arrived at the hospital again, because the temperature was holding, the doctor did not refuse admission, did everything that was necessary to make the child feel better. The most important thing: when prescribing an antibiotic, a test was made for the tolerability of the drug. Thank you so much to such people! God grant you good health!

I would like to sincerely thank Dr. Waub Astanda Dzhumberovna and nurses Nicole and Esma. She was diagnosed with right–sided pneumonia on January 03, 2023 (the flu gave a complication), it was very bad - she was breathing with difficulty. I was quickly admitted and transferred to the ward. They immediately prescribed treatment and put on an IV. A day later, the condition was monitored by blood tests. The hospital has all the medicines, good food, care and clear treatment protocols.
I am delighted and I want to say thank you so much that the entire team of the Infectious Diseases Hospital in Sukhum is working so clearly and efficiently! I was put on my feet in a week and sent for outpatient treatment. Many thanks to the one who runs this institution – the Chief Physician. He created an established process, ensured the availability of all the necessary medicines and high-quality food, and also picked up such a cool, well-coordinated team of doctors and medical staff. Five and a low bow for such a job!
