A cozy place!!! A special atmosphere is created by a fountain in the center of the park with colored water illumination (in the cold season, the fountain turns off). Nearby, the clock tower is a favorite tourist spot for selfies. In the warmer months, every Sunday evening at the fountain there is a concert by local folklore and pop groups. In early autumn 2024, a cafe started operating in the park (prices are not low, but delicious). There are two amazing sights of the city nearby: the Orthodox Church of St. Michael the Archangel (1865) and the Church of St. Teresa of Avila (1829) with integration into the large building of the Collegium of the Order of PR.
Not far from the church there is an oak tree, which (according to the thorough conviction of historians), in the date of planting, refers to the era of the life in Shchuchin of the famous scientist Stanislav Boniface Yundzil and the existence on Shchuchin land of one of the first botanical gardens in Europe.
There is a shop next to the oak tree where it is
significantly cheaper to buy delicious coffee, water and a lot of goodies for an initial calculation.... And all this is next to the park, literally across the street.
