The hotel is good, renovated, the furniture is fresh. They are cleaned every day. Great gym. They even wash the floor. They leave clean water. Billiards, table tennis, air hockey for free. The owner of the hotel is a pleasant man, constantly organized entertainment. I really enjoyed dinner on the beach.
Of the cons:
We were surprised that the Maldives could be like this. We imagined a place of paradise. As a result, it is a small village. There are a lot of locals, but they are not visible on the streets, they only go out in the evening. There is one beach that has been equipped from the hotel. You can't go into the water without slippers. There is a large reef near the shore with a lot of fish. There are only 2 sun beds. The hotel provides beach towels.
From the hotel they take you to 2 islands. 1h belongs to the owner of the hotel, it is clean, sandy, there are saps, canoes.
We called the 2nd the island of garbage. It's very dirty, the water arrives after lunch and there's nowhere to sit, you can't go into the water without slippers.
The trip costs from $ 20 to $35 per person, Very expensive, you can't travel every day. There is nowhere to eat except the hotel, there are several cafes, but I was afraid to go to them.
Getting from Male is long and expensive. There are 2 options: a local flight and a boat. We had a plane. He was detained for 2 hours in one direction and 6 in the other. As a result, we missed the flight to Moscow.

The hotel is nice, the staff is excellent, but it is very far from Male and it is a village. I don't think we'll fly to the Maldives anymore, but if we do, we'll choose a hotel closer to Male.

In October 2024, she was forced to cancel her paid reservation at the Stay Mikado Hotel (2.5 months before the arrival date). The owner of the hotel, Amin, informed me that he would refund me all the money for the failed trip. That's about $2,000. It's been 4 months. I wrote to Amin periodically to clarify the terms of the refund, and asked him to send at least some of the money. Each time, he replied that he would return everything in the near future, but he constantly shifted the deadlines.
And recently I stopped contacting you at all.
I'm starting to doubt the veracity of all the positive reviews on various platforms.
The hotel itself can be quite good. But I want to warn all travelers that if you cancel your trip, your money will not be refunded.

I didn't like it there.far away , dirty .in India, it will be more appropriate in the cheapest city.it makes sense to spend on it and the price does not match.the owner is arrogant and arrogant .
