Many thanks to the staff of the complex. The tour was conducted perfectly, the guide told the story expressively and touchingly. Moreover, employees promptly answer questions on social networks, consult on the phone on how best to get there, and even call back themselves when they see missed calls. I am very pleased with this attitude, thank you.
55 km from Minsk, it's like you're in a special place, unlike Belarus. Beautiful nature at the entrance to the village itself. There were a lot of people, cars and tourist buses, despite this unusual silence, only once every 30 seconds the bell rings. It's a tradition in memory of the dead. We took a guided tour on the street, a small group and a girl guide, interestingly told us about all the horrors that were here during the war. There is a small church on the territory, we went in , put candles. A museum with an audio guide, you can go and listen, we didn't take it anymore, it was enough. There is a cafe next to the parking lot, but with the influx of people it is impossible to get there , there is a queue.
To pay tribute to the memory of the fallen civilians and to learn more about the history of our country so that the children would know and continue. I recommend you to visit
A memorial complex telling about the atrocities of the Nazi invaders on the territory of Belarus in general and in the village of Khatyn in particular.
I highly recommend visiting with a guided tour.
The complex is well maintained, clean, in excellent condition. Every detail makes you think and feel the heavy atmosphere of the war years and the period of occupation.
