Pretty close to the center and that's it. Some rooms have no windows, everything is very small, cramped. You can't turn around in the bathroom. The rooms are smoky. The whole area is a wholesale market. Technical room for overnight stay, no more.
We stayed in this mountain "hotel" for 6 nights.
The hotel does not meet the overall rating of 8.5 for Booking a maximum of 5!
The hotel is located on a street where there are no residential buildings, only shoe production, so you can not count on a quiet and restful sleep in this hotel. There is no sound insulation, so you will wake up at 6 a.m. and fall asleep late at night. BEFORE BOOKING, open Google maps and look at the street panorama on the map where the hotel is located. You will also listen to everything that happens in the next room (how the neighbor went to the toilet, sneezed, laughed).
The room itself is microscopic (but this is probably the norm for the old district of Istanbul). The bed in the room creaked violently, everyone woke up when someone turned over. The hotel smokes, the doors to the room have a crack at the floor and the smell of smoking is always present in the room. Bork's room is only at your request, if you don't ask for it, then they won't even take out the garbage from the trash cans.
If you still decide to book this hotel, then DO NOT TAKE BREAKFAST, they simply are not there. More precisely, they are there, but it is impossible to eat what they give. A jam loaf is all that you can eat there without risking your health. Cheeses have been lying for days and taste bitter. Coffee is in a dirty Nescafe jar in which it (coffee) is poured there from nowhere. Milk for coffee is next to it in a box and it turns sour quickly and the staff does not change it if you do not ask. Dried fruits of questionable purity and quality. Boiled eggs, the first time in the shell, and on the second day if you have not finished them, they will be cleaned (with clean hands?!) and cut into halves, finish so to speak. The sausages lie for several days until they are finished. The concept of the kitchen is not to throw anything away, so everything is mixed, somehow tampered with and fed to visitors. In the photo, there is a breakfast table and that's all there is nothing else! You need to ask for bottled water. Well, forget about amlet or eggs, they don't do anything, although the staff eats right next to you and they fry eggs for themselves!
If you plan to spend 3-4 or more days in Istanbul, then choose another place!
We had a rest in January - February 2022. Everything is good for the price, everything is OK for the service. The staff does not speak Russian, they speak English well. It is located in a shopping area, after 22:00 there is no one there, everything is quiet on the street. The breakfast is modest and monotonous, while the view from the terrace to the Bosphorus is simply gorgeous. The rooms are small, but not all, choose a room not on the first and second floor and not opposite the elevator. The sound insulation in the room is very weak, you can talk to the neighbors in a low voice. There is a transfer at the hotel, but it is very expensive, it is better to take it by booking.
The hotel itself is good! Cozy, clean room, good and friendly service
You can have a good breakfast on the terrace or just drink tea
The hotel has an elevator , the hotel itself coincided with our expectation , everything looks like in the photo👌🏻
Even without knowledge of the language, you can figure it out
There is a Wi-Fi connection
The only thing you can find fault with is the street. Relative to the rest of the streets , it 's a little dirty , but there are a lot of workers in shoe and textile production , in general , this does not interfere with rest , there were almost no people here .
The location is geographically good - close to all important places
At first glance, the hotel is inconspicuous, but after getting acquainted with the area you realize that the location is ideal for all attractions, metro, cafes. The beautiful view from the terrace will make breakfast especially pleasant. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is decent. The rooms are clean and have everything you need.

The hotel is next to the Grand Bazaar. The friendly staff will always help if you have any questions. The restaurant on the top floor has a great view! The only menu would be more diverse and the chefs would learn! In general, I recommend it! The price is adequate
A good hotel, a wonderful view from the cafe windows, delicious breakfasts, but the room turned out to have a window facing the wall. And so cozy, comfortable, inexpensive.
I liked the view from the terrace, the balcony from the room! The staff is quite courteous and pleasant! There were ants in the room, the smell from the toilet, a small shower and toilet! Breakfast is small and monotonous!
A terrible hotel, do not be fooled by the hyped reviews, the gypsy district, its imitation in the room instead of the window, the breakfasts are meager, the same thing, in general, think before you go)
The rooms are cramped and not cozy, they do not allow alcohol on their veranda. In general, they did not meet me in a friendly way. We moved in with their neighbors.
