In my opinion, it is the best hotel in Baku - in all respects!!!The hotel staff are professionals and very, very friendly and friendly people!!!And, of course, Emil, the director of the hotel, is in charge. Thanks to him for his precise work and the well-coordinated work of the team under his strict guidance!!!A master of his craft, able to find an approach to any client of the hotel, with any character, mood and nationality...And his team, respectively, is the same!!!Wonderful people, and most importantly, very patient.Especially Nargiz-they managed to love her!!! If you contact the team with questions, we are always happy to help and suggest. And the director, Emil, can generally solve an issue of any complexity in the shortest possible time!!! The quality of your stay and the overall impression of your place of stay depend on the hotel where you stay, or rather on its staff and its work, therefore, I would like to say a huge thank you to Emil and his friendly and wonderful team!!! I wish you good luck and prosperity in everything!!! We love you!!!
Excellent hotel: the rooms are spacious, the staff is friendly and helpful, the director is the best, will solve any problem.
The location of the hotel is the best, because away from the noisy old town, it is very convenient to walk there during the day, and return to a quiet and cozy place in the evening.
The hotel has everything you need: an elevator (which we were incredibly happy about), breakfast is included, Wi-FI, rooms are equipped with furniture and appliances (and for those who are not satisfied with their condition, I would like to say that this is the fault of the hotel guests themselves, you need to take care of other people's property, even in five-star hotels there is a worn furniture).
In general, be sure to come to Baku and feel free to choose this hotel for your stay!
Nice hotel. Matches your money. Everything you need is there. The staff is very friendly - Emil and Nargiz. Good location, metro 7-10 minutes at a leisurely pace. Nearby there are shops, cafes, the Heydar Aliyev center. I don't understand the bad reviews, I repeat, the hotel meets its money, everything is honest. If someone needs a doorman at the entrance and cold champagne in the room, then this is not the place.
The hotel complies with its pricing policy. The hotel is clean and the rooms are clean too. But the rooms are cleaned once every three days. Towels and bed linen are also changed once every three days. The bed linen is very clean. Soap , shampoos and shower gels , toilet paper - everything is given out once every three days . In order to clean the room, it is necessary to speak and leave the key in the lock of the room door. Garbage collection - once every three days - is a complete trash! The breakfasts are on top, Nargiz, special thanks! Porridge milk oatmeal, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, omelet every day , periodically buckwheat or pasta with sausages, boiled and semi-smoked sausage , hard cheese, processed cheese, sweets for tea and coffee, you will not stay hungry for breakfast, this is a plus. Another of the disadvantages is watching football matches at night on the TV screen in the lobby at the reception with comments, our room was behind the wall 201 - the audibility is excellent. Otherwise, everything is very good, the location of the hotel is good, there is Wi-Fi.
Probably one of the best places in Baku, if not the best! We flew to Azerbaijan with my sister and stayed here. We immediately offered a great, cozy room, above the class booked. We were greeted good-naturedly at two o'clock in the morning and quickly settled in. I would also like to note the service: all the hotel staff are very polite and always ready to come to the rescue. My sister and I were celebrating a birthday, and after talking to the owner of the hotel, Emil, we mentioned it to him. And imagine our surprise when he congratulated us with a cake! In general, I can say that the best people work here who monitor the quality of service at the hotel, they will definitely not leave you in trouble, they will come to the rescue in any situation and comfortably accommodate you. We sincerely recommend it!
Emil met us at the reception, who offered us a very nice room, the view from the window was on the Heydar Aliyev Center, which could not but please.
A great advantage was the breakfasts, which are already included in the room rate. A smiling and friendly woman greets you in the kitchen. The breakfasts are standard, but tasty and dense.
Every morning, bottles of water were placed next to the door for us, too +.
Metro, shops, banks are within walking distance.
I would come back here again!
A great hotel, great location, and the highlight of this hotel is its employee Emil. He will always help with everything, tell you, just super. I would take such an employee with me to St. Petersburg. Thanks to him, I think the number of people who want to visit this hotel will only grow.
I put one star only because you can't put zero.
When choosing this hotel, I was guided by the reviews of previous tourists and was very much mistaken. The hotel is an average three, the staff should not be allowed to work with people at all! About everything in order.
We stayed at the Grand Inn Baku from August 5th to 12th. Since my wife and I arrived at night, I contacted the hotel director and booked a transfer from the airport to the hotel. The cost is about $15 (although it costs twice as much in the city). However, no one met us at the exit from the airport. We waited 10 minutes and had to take a taxi "from the side" for $30. When we arrived at the hotel, we hoped at least for an apology, but we were greeted by a fat, sleepy and very angry receptionist. Instead of apologizing, a disgruntled employee harshly scolded me, accused me of inadequacy and demanded full payment for accommodation instead of checking in. I paid off and clarified when it was possible to discuss this situation with the director of the hotel, after which I found out that he was the director Emil (the one to whom they confessed their love in previous reviews). Emil threw the key on the counter and instead of checking in pointed his finger in the direction of our room No. 202.
Number. The room is pretty shabby. In particular: smudges on the ceiling, burnt sofa upholstery, dirty countertops, torn handles in furniture, lack of light bulbs in floor lamps, most of the sockets do not work and even holes (!) in the wall, etc. By our check-in, there was only 1 towel in the room and that for feet. We had booked a room with two separate beds, but in fact 2 beds were moved and cleaned with a single set of linen. The first night I slept without a sheet, with a curtain on my elbow instead of a pillow.
Habitation. The next day, towards noon, we managed to get another set of towels and linen. The TV is in the room without a remote control, I found the antenna behind the chest of drawers. Due to faulty sockets, the TV and refrigerator in the room work in turn. According to the eternally dissatisfied "director" Emil, this is normal. Even the kettle in the room was issued by Emil with a claim. According to Director Emil, room cleaning is "not allowed" more than once every 3 days, so the garbage was not removed from our room. The tap water is always barely warm, and one day the water was completely turned off at 9 pm. Emil did not bother to solve this issue.
However, Director Emil reacted very quickly when I left the room without a T-shirt: he immediately knocked on our door and scolded us for indecent behavior in his hotel.
During the day, Director Emil entertained himself by turning on his favorite music at full volume in the hotel and enjoyed this concert lounging in his office. The tracks changed every half minute. The desire of the guests to listen to this cacophony did not interest him. Another sophisticated form of bullying us is to gather a group of like–minded people right in front of the room doors and cheer loudly for your favorite team at the Olympics.
Breakfast. We have no special complaints about breakfast: it was monotonous, not too tasty, but we were not hungry.
The location of the hotel. About 10 minutes from the metro, near the center of Aliyev. However, there is a ramp under the windows of the store where the goods are delivered in the early morning. Everything would be fine, but truck drivers regularly beep to open the barrier. If you're fast asleep, it doesn't hurt.
Finally. The review of the GRAND INN BAKU hotel has nothing to do with the city and its inhabitants: Baku is magnificent, the people of Baku are beautiful. In order not to be disappointed in your trip, choose the right hotel. But definitely not this one)
I really liked this hotel and its staff. The wonderful hospitality and friendliness inherent in all Baku residents allowed me to give the hotel five stars, and an unexpected bonus in the form of check-in much earlier than check-out time made this hotel one of my favorites. Thank you for your kindness!
I rarely write reviews, because I simply don't have enough time for this.🙈
But if I write, I do it honestly...
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the hotel staff and, especially, to its director, Emil, for decorating our holiday with their professionalism, hospitality and good-naturedness.
I say without any exaggeration: thanks to your team, the hotel became our second home for the duration of our stay, and the hotel staff became a family.
Separately, I would also like to thank the cook, thanks to whom I wanted to get up for breakfast - Nargiz, she surrounded almost every guest with care: you can immediately see how conscientiously a person treats his work, and people with respect (the breakfasts were varied and delicious, and most importantly, everything was very clean and neatly cooked).
You can safely choose this hotel for your vacation, but even if you assume that you will find some shortcomings, believe me, it will be enough to Politely contact any of the staff, as your issue will be resolved without any problems and in the shortest possible time; or directly to the director, who turned out to be very honest, decent, responsive and a competent young man who is always ready to help you, even if your problem is external, i.e. it is not related to the hotel stay itself - this is the person who will always help both in word and deed.
And in general, my main observation is that if you treat these people with due respect, then in return they will treat you like family, for which special thanks! 🙏🏻
It was very cozy, comfortable and quite calm in the hotel, despite its full occupancy.
The rooms have all the necessary working equipment (TV, air conditioning, kettle, mini fridge, telephone), there is a safe and even a lamp (although the lighting in the room is excellent), there is a lot of furniture: we had a double bed + a sofa bed + an armchair + 2 bedside tables + a coffee table + a large wardrobe for clothes + make-up table, own bathroom, and to sum up: we were perfectly accommodated and did not need anything...
It should also be noted that geographically the hotel is located in a very good location: opposite the hotel there is an amazing park and entertainment center named after him. Heydar Aliyev; a short walk from the hotel is a beautiful park named after N. Narimanov; for fans (whom I am not) there are McDonald's and KFC nearby, as well as many colorful cafes and restaurants; within walking distance of transport for every taste: metro, city buses, taxis...
For me personally, an important factor was the availability of infrastructure next to the hotel - our hotel building is located on the second floor of an apartment building, and below it (on the ground floor) streets are stretched out: a supermarket (with a fairly wide range of goods and convenient working hours from 8:00 to 00:00), a pharmacy (with a Russian-speaking a pharmacist), a pastry shop, a cafe and many others ...
In other words, this place has everything you need, you don't need to look for anything.
It is impossible not to fall in love with the city itself! 😍
He immediately won my heart...❤
I really hope to return here...
Thanks to Baku for the wonderful, unforgettable impressions and the Grand Inn Baku hotel for the warmth and comfort...💓
Thank you very much to Emil, who runs this hotel, took us in as a mother, was at home for the night could not give the money away while they changed it, Emil gave the money while they changed it, as well as all the questions that were always answered and helped in everything, thank you very much, I see such a good attitude for the first time in a foreign country where you have nothing but you are not alone when such good people are nearby, it is clean, convenient and the location is super, as well as a special thanks to Nargiz for a great breakfast and for a warm welcome, just a great person helped and suggested so much, thank you for everything when we arrive in Baku, we already know where to stop🥹👍💯👍👍👍👍💯💯💯💯💯❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😘😘😘💕💕💕💕💕
Terrible hotel! I believed the good reviews and booked it for 12 days. It was a mistake. The hotel is dirty, the rude administrator Emil promises cleaning every three days, in fact it was not. I had to beg for toilet paper. They don't even take out the garbage, imagine what the smell of leftover food is there, someone comes with children and throws diapers away. The bed linen and towels are stained and torn. At my request to change a dirty towel (I was given one on the first day) Emil replied, "This is not a Hilton for you." The windows of my room overlooked the garbage dump, every night a garbage truck arrives and takes away the garbage with a bang, it was not possible to open the window and ventilate the room because of the smell from the garbage cans.
The safe in the room did not work, Emil said that no one had promised it to me either. The Internet is weak, it works intermittently, I did not pull calls on the Whatsapp.
The breakfast is ordinary, monotonous: fried eggs, smoked tomatoes, cucumbers, bread and yogurt.
The location is also not very good. Of the nearby attractions, only the Heydar Aliyev Center. You will still go for a walk to the center or the old town, it was impossible to get by taxi in less than 40 minutes due to traffic jams. It is convenient to get to the airport in 25 minutes.
I do not recommend this hotel to anyone, spoil your impression of Baku!
The hotel is three-star in all resources, I don't know who awarded them the fourth star?! It is located above the ramp of the store: night parties, morning unloading of suppliers and smoke breaks of employees under the windows. The rooms are very tired, the staff are sullen and unfriendly. During the week of stay, the breakfast buffet assortment did not change: sausages, scrambled eggs, cucumbers + tomatoes, tea/instant coffee. The laudatory reviews are not true. A Hostel-level hotel. We will definitely not stop here a second time.
The host first confirmed the reservation and made an advance payment, while there was a call to the host, but canceled the reservation a couple of days before arrival.
I do not recommend this hotel to anyone
