Scallop is a super place for a relaxing holiday! The beach is within walking distance, clean water of the coast without pollution from large settlements, few people on the beach. Very tasty cuisine, products of our own production. Special care for the health of visitors. Very kind hosts and staff. Galina Vladimirovna and Sergey Vasilyevich, Olga and Sergey, great respect to you for everything! You are the most wonderful! A very good bungalow for guests. We had a great time with our family from the end of July to the beginning of August 2024. I recommend it 100%!

For us, the guest house "Grebeshok" is the very place on the Black Sea coast that we can call truly wonderful and native. And the most important thing here is not the magnificent nature with the turquoise-blue clear sea and the southern riot of trees, flowers and shrubs, although they are exactly like that here. The most important thing is the wonderful people to whom we are overwhelmed with gratitude, the people who made our vacation unforgettable, helped us, took care of us, gave us the warmth of their soul. Galina and Sergey, our vacation turned out to be so wonderful thanks to you, your warmth and caring, we are very grateful to you and very much want to come back again, we really hope for it. We were in August 2023, absolutely delighted with the guest house! Thanks to Galina Vladimirovna, Sergey Vasilyevich, Olga and Sergey for a wonderful stay and a welcoming atmosphere! A very beautiful area with a variety of fruit trees. The rooms are designed for convenience. And how the food here is a delight! I bow low to Galina Vladimirovna for her work and love invested in a diverse, but at the same time in a good home kitchen! If you want to cook something yourself, there is a wonderful and very comfortable summer kitchen. The beach nearby is very beautiful with clear water and large pebbles. The road to the beach is a good cardio workout up the stairs under a lot of beautiful plants. Spring water is also within walking distance. If you want a little urban bustle, there is a road nearby. But believe me, it's so good to go back to Scallop that you don't really want to fuss.

I had a vacation here in June 2023.
An amazing place! Far from civilization and the hustle and bustle of the city. Lots of greenery, mountains, delicious air, peaceful sea views.
Passage to the beach with colorful features. There are really a lot of stairs, descents, ascents. A good warm-up after sitting in the office for a long time. I am glad that the passage is organized under the railway. The beach is sparsely populated. No one bothers to contemplate the bronze sunset and think about the eternal.
I took a bungalow and full board, room amenities, spring water flows from the tap, I have never seen such luxury anywhere else. There is a modern air conditioner, TV, refrigerator. For those who want to cook themselves, there is a summer kitchen. Everything is clean and tidy. There is a fenced parking lot and CCTV cameras.
Hospitable and hospitable hosts, the food was varied, homemade and very tasty, the portions are large. They will definitely not leave you hungry.
It is ideal for those who want to put their thoughts in order. But if you suddenly need to get in touch urgently, then there is wi-fi in every room, with a decent connection speed, which is good news.

The Grebeshka hosts are very friendly and open, ready to help and answer any question regarding holidays in Abkhazia.
Incredibly delicious cuisine performed by Galina Vladimirovna and Sergey Vasilyevich, made from local and high-quality products purchased from regular suppliers in the local market. There is also a wonderful opportunity to go to the market several times a week with the owner, which is good news.
There is a fully equipped summer kitchen, in agreement with the hostess, we form a daily meal: when leaving for excursions, we leave only dinner in the order and sometimes cook ourselves (hunting simple fried local potatoes with dried meat and salsa and "royal" food for children – pasta).
Cozy and clean rooms with bathroom and air conditioning. The shower attached to our junior suite is located outside, which does not bother rinsing after salty sea water at all. The sea is a 5-minute walk away, clean, sparsely populated and spacious beach with small pebbles. The guest house has its own check-in from the highway, which is extremely convenient - on excursions they are taken right from here and brought here. In the garden, we are allowed to eat ripe southern fruits directly from the trees. All accommodation, food and recreation conditions for our family of four are excellent.

We vacationed here with children in July 2023. There is no better place for a quiet, cozy, comfortable stay. If you want to lie on the beach in silence and under the sound of the surf, then here you are!!! A variety of tree species from ancient pines and cypresses to sunny tangerines!!! Hospitable hosts who will help the guest with any question. We lived in a 4-bed room, in a four-bed room and there was enough room for everyone. The room has a modern TV, air conditioning, toilet, sink, WiFi (good signal). There is a kitchen for self-cooking, well equipped. And you can also order food from the hostess, cook very tasty and varied, focusing on your tastes and preferences, the portions are large, no one went hungry. The road to the sea passes safely through the tunnel under the car and railway road, through a picturesque bamboo grove, laurel bushes, along a mountain stream. Come, you won't regret it!!!

Hello everyone! My family and I spontaneously gathered and went to the guest house "Grebeshok" from August 16 to 19, 2023.))) Everything turned out smoothly. We arrived, we were met, we passed the border quickly. We drove from the border for 20 minutes. We immediately checked into a room with a sea view. What a beauty!!! We had a family vacation in this wonderful place in July 2023. Our accommodation was in a bungalow, which has everything for a comfortable stay: refrigerator, TV, air conditioning, toilet and shower in the room, and even a small kitchen, and most importantly it has an extremely beautiful sea view from the terrace. We chose accommodation with meals. Galina Vladimirovna's golden hands created culinary masterpieces every day. The food is very tasty, homemade and varied, the products are always fresh.

We spontaneously decided to have a rest in Abkhazia at the end of August 2023. I wanted to spend time at the sea, but at the same time away from people. The choice was stopped on the Scallop. And how lucky we are! Beautiful nature, hospitable hosts, great beach! From 10 to 20 people were observed on the beach for 2 weeks of rest at different times of the day for a length of 500 m. It's just a vip beach. Since it is wild, there is a bit of garbage, mostly from the sea. But this is not critical. The guest house has very cozy rooms, there is a refrigerator, air conditioning, toilet, a separate kitchen where you can cook. Everything you need for a great holiday is provided. This year, my wife and I have a wedding anniversary in July, and therefore it was decided to go on a honeymoon 20 years later -). Well, travel is a big word, but we could afford a week of rest on the Black Sea coast. According to the reviews of friends and acquaintances, we decided to visit the Republic of Abkhazia, which was unknown to us before.
While searching for a place to relax, we accidentally came across a group in the VK of the guest house "Grebeshok". After reading reviews from other visitors, and deep down, something told me that this was exactly the place to stay and spend a week on vacation.We contacted the administrator of the group, made a symbolic deposit, thereby booking our place of residence for further rest.
At the end of the first decade of July, we came to rest in this wonderful guest house called "Scallop". The location of the house itself and the windows overlooking the sea made you fall in love with this place at first sight. The pristine cleanliness of the house, the garden with tangerines, lemons, figs, peaches and other plantings in the form of various flowers immersed us in a zone of divine comfort.There are no entertainment establishments near the guest house, and therefore the rest in it is really quiet and family-friendly. You can write about the permanent residents of the guest house, i.e. about its owners for a long time, and I think if you stop completely at each one, you will get more than one volume of laudatory ode. I'll say it briefly. These are such sincere, crystal-clear people that after meeting them, the opinion settles that you have known them all your adult life, and leaving them gives the impression that you visited your parents and visited your brother and sister.
Food from Galina and drinks from Sergey are beyond praise, the hospitality of Olga and Sergey is an example to follow for other hosts of guest houses.
We really liked everything and if we have the opportunity, we will certainly visit this place next year.

Hello everyone. My wife has been flying to these wonderful people for three years, moreover, using a taxi transfer, where wonderful Abkhazians will also help to carry and take them to the place.

The hosts greeted us like family, despite the fact that they arrived a day earlier.
There is no civilization around, but we understood where and what we were going for.(I'm tired of the anthill at home.) Quietly, calmly, the landscapes are beautiful and do not bother.
I like everything, the road to the sea has its own nuances, but it's no worse than going down to the subway.
The food in the room is all at the highest level. Tangerines oranges lemons are all on the trees, please eat.
Conclusion: everything is fine, everything is wonderful. Everyone chooses their own vacation, peace and quiet, clean beaches and a Scallop sea.

The rooms are decent and clean.

I fell for the good reviews about GOST.the house "Scallop" in Abkhazia, the owner is Galina, but this is probably not a panacea in this case. I tried to book in advance from November 2022, but during the conversation until the end of December this year I changed the price for accommodation. At the same time, payment for meals began to be imposed depending on the number of people. This is not acceptable for us. Not everything that is written on the site is valid in fact. Even accepting the terms with the modified increased price only for accommodation, I intended to pay for the reservation for the desired dates, but in the end I received an answer: You're not right for us. The extremely murky "soulful wonder woman" does not inspire confidence in fact. Everything can change right up to arrival at the place for a vacation, as noted in one of the reviews. I corresponded on WhatsApp, everything is in fact not invented.

The hostess of the guest house "Grebeshok" is a very dishonest woman. Arriving in a foreign country for the first time in my life, I immediately came across outright rudeness on the part of this wonder woman. I booked a room and made an advance payment, hoping for a good and relaxing stay. I must say right away that this wonder woman does not like being asked questions - how to get to them, whether they have Internet, etc. I crossed the border, took a taxi - the driver is Abkhazian - and drove to a wonderful house by the sea. The taxi driver dropped me off on the highway and said he didn't know where this house was, he took the money from me. I call the miracle hostess and explain the situation, instead of explaining it to me or meeting her, she said that these are my problems. Strangers got into my situation and took me to the guest house "Comb" for free, the taxi driver did not take me 5 km to it, as it turned out later. The wonderful hostess came out of the gates of her palace, approached the car and threw my prepayment through the window, saying that she did not want to see me in her house. Imagine my condition! I flew from Khabarovsk to distant Abkhazia for wonderful impressions, but what did I encounter after crossing the border?! Of course, caring people helped me, they did not leave me on the highway in an unfamiliar country. Such hospitable hosts !!

We lived in this house the year before last, for three weeks, two families with children. We really liked it. The house is large, the rooms are cozy. Comfortable and clean showers. It is a few minutes walk to the sea, a convenient but steep descent and ascent, by stairs. The sea is very clean and the beach is nice. The food was very tasty, the portions were huge - but it was so delicious that everyone ate with pleasure. The only small disadvantage is the lack of a bell at the entrance, we got caught a couple of times when we forgot the keys, but perhaps it has already appeared. Well, the descent to the sea is a bit steep for the elderly or with infants, although we quickly got used to it. Otherwise, everything was great! Last year we chose a vacation closer to Mount Athos, which we repeatedly regretted, this year we decided not to take any more risks and booked rooms with Galina. It is very nice that now there is a transfer and there is an opportunity to be met. We are glad that our past wishes have been heard. We rested with my husband at Galina's on the Comb. Everything is fine, the location of the village is good, far from major tourist areas and no city fuss, peace and quiet, the sea is very clean within walking distance, there are few people. We were not very lucky with the weather, we got into the rainy season, but we were warmed by the very warm and attentive attitude of the hostess, as well as to all vacationers. I am always ready to help with business and advice. Very tasty and high-quality food. The rooms are clean, good living conditions. We booked the room late, so there was only a room with an outdoor shower and toilet. It was very embarrassing, but in fact it turned out to be very clean and without discomfort. The neighbors turned out to be very nice and friendly people. There is a small stall nearby, otherwise we went to the market together with Galina. We have very pleasant impressions and memories. Unfortunately, we will not be able to visit Abkhazia this year, but we are boldly and confidently sending our mother to Galina, together with our relatives. It's good that there was a transfer, we really missed it. Of the disadvantages, probably only a steep descent to the sea, or rather an ascent. It's unusually difficult, especially the first few days. Mom was warned, but it didn't bother her at all. There are no good shops nearby, you have to go to the city to get what you need. I advise you to immediately buy a SIM card from a local operator, roaming is incredibly expensive there. Unfortunately, there is no Internet in the house, it was very lacking, we used mobile Internet, tolerable for price and speed. In general, we really enjoyed the rest, despite the minor nuances. Upon returning, mom "flooded" everyone with her positive emotions, our friends also couldn't resist and had already booked a room for the "velvet season". Fortunately, our vacation was much earlier and we managed to timely choose the room (junior suite on the 3rd floor) that we did not have time to book last time, but which we liked so much. We are already looking forward to counting the remaining days. We had a rest in Scallop at the beginning of August this year. The place is good, the beach is wonderful. I especially want to draw attention to the attitude of the hostess Galina to her vacationers. A wonderful person who cares about making your vacation calm, safe, and comfortable. It is very pleasant to feel that the hostess sees in her guests not only a source of income (as it usually happens), but also cares about them as close people. It so happened that shortly after our arrival, the child's temperature rose and we had to return home. Galina took a snack with her on the road, worrying about how we would get there. Many thanks to Galina for her attentive and sensitive attitude!!! See you next year!
