I received my passport:

It all started with the fact that careless employees in Astana lost my passport, respectively, without handing it over along with all my family's passports, and when they found it a few days later, they forgot it at work at hour "X" and, as a result, did not send it on a regular night flight to Alma-Ata.

I didn't notice any disadvantages. We went in half an hour earlier than the scheduled time, received a number and immediately went to the managers' windows! All the procedures - filing documents, payment, fingerprinting went one after another, they did not wait a minute in line!

All the approvals on our situation with the embassy were literally completed in 5 minutes.
They banned the use of the phone, but these are the rules🤷🏻♂️
