We learned about this good, albeit small museum during a sightseeing tour of the city with Inna (look for her on the Tripster). A museum dedicated to ceremonial edged weapons. Although there is a combat one. Sabers, swords, broadswords, checkers, cleavers, daggers. The mace. An interesting story by the guide Vyacheslav about the exposition, the present and models of cold steel and firearms that you can hold, pull the trigger, take a picture.
In the first hall there are outstanding natives of Grodno.
There is an adding machine (not Felix, more complicated) that no one can handle, if you know how to handle it, then help the staff.
I agree with all the reviews below. I highly recommend you to visit. Organized with the soul. One of the most interesting places in Grodno. The museum will be interesting for both adults and children. You can take pictures with the exhibits. The receptionist is very friendly and sociable.
A set of weapons, equipment, armor, souvenirs, trophies of different years. From ancient to hunting. You can take a picture in some armor and with weapons. Overall, it's not bad.
A wonderful museum, you can feel the soul of the creator Anatoly Grishuk. I bow low for the work and patience in creating such a wonderful collection of ceremonial weapons and other rare exhibits. Special thanks to Vyacheslav for the tour and the opportunity to photograph, dress and use the exhibits. Maximum immersion . My recommendations for a mandatory visit.
A good example of how a private collection is not hidden from people for ego joy, but is accessible to everyone. The girls who present the collection are very welcoming and attentive.
The impressions are only positive.
A gorgeous museum! I recommend you to visit! There is an opportunity to try on the armor. The guide is intelligent and knows a lot about history. The museum has quite a large number of different exhibits.
Very impressed. The guide. Many exhibits can be measured, touched)). It is fascinating, informative, interesting and humorous. We recommend you to visit 👍
The exposition is interesting, but not very large. Everything about everything (even if you take pictures of almost all the exhibits or take pictures with them) will take no more than 30-40 minutes.
Wonderful gallery! This is the own collection of Anatoly Georgievich Grishuk, director of the gallery.
Very nice, tasteful. There is something to see. I definitely recommend it! You can book a guided tour. Very very interesting! Wonderful administrator Natalia!!
I advise you!!!
An interesting place. You can stick for half an hour. It's great that you can touch the museum exhibits.
I've never seen this before. The cost of the visit can be considered symbolic.
The museum is very interesting!!! Many thanks to its creator Anatoly Grishuk!A magnificent collection! Many thanks to the guide Anna for the most interesting story about the collection. Our guest from Warsaw, with whom we were at the museum, was absolutely delighted. The museum provides an opportunity to take interesting photos. The next day we visited the Lida Castle and, admittedly, the castle loses to the Grishuk Arsenal gallery. We wish you prosperity, lots of tourists and new interesting exhibits!
I was on an excursion to the Arsenal Museum, I was very pleasantly surprised that the museum is located in the city center, there are a lot of exhibits, an honorary plaque of the champions of the city of Grodno, a lot of weapons, medals.I also want to add that time flew by so quickly thanks to the professionalism of our guide, it was very interesting to listen, although I am not a fan of weapons, I recommend it for general development)
A pleasant and diverse exhibition with a large number of exhibits, although the museum itself is small. It is very interactive and full, I would say even more interesting than many museums because of its saturation
The artists have surpassed themselves. This painting is a decoration of the courtyard. An old courtyard, and, unexpectedly, inside it, a striking picture in size and detail!
We learned about this museum from the guide. We listened to her recommendation and absolutely for good reason. It was interesting for everyone from young to old. Be sure to take a tour, otherwise run through a small museum with a private collection and leave in 5 minutes.
The museum is located on the 2nd floor of a residential building. Entrance from the road. You can park on the inside of the house, in the yard.
900rubles were paid for three people with an excursion (August 2023). Payment is possible not only in cash, but also by card.
In this museum, you can try on an outfit and pick up a real weapon. I recommend it!
This is the second time I've been to this museum. For the second year in a row. And it's still interesting. The museum is a chamber museum, but there are enough exhibits and interesting excursions.
It's cool that many of the exhibits can be touched with your hands!) we were the only ones in the museum and there was a lack of some pleasant music in the background after the tour, otherwise it was somehow gloomy) I recommend it to everyone!)
We were on an individual tour, I really liked it! The guide tells a rather interesting story, so the time flew by unnoticed) The gallery itself is small, but there are enough exhibits.
An interesting place. The gallery presents exhibits personally collected by the owner. I liked the fact that you can see and touch individual exhibits, take memorable photos.
The museum is cool, although not big, you can hold weapons in your hands - several sabers, halberds, a couple of pistols and rifles. I liked it! There are many rarities from the cold and awards. Keep it up !
We enjoyed visiting the museum very much! Beautiful exhibits, you can take pictures with replicas, and behind the glass all the ceremonial weapons are original. Unfortunately, they were in a hurry and couldn't listen to the tour, but the receptionist was still there and tried to tell at least something - it's very cool when you can see that a person loves his job!
Thank you very much! When we arrive in Grodno, we will definitely come again, but this time for a full-fledged excursion)
An excellent museum where you can not only have a good time, but also discover the history of cold steel on the other hand, thanks to the charismatic guide Vyacheslav Selitsky!!
an interesting and unusual museum. I advise you to visit it will be interesting!!! You can take pictures with things and clothes, sit on a red sofa and find out the interesting life of the sponsor of all these attractions
I really liked the museum. Probably the best in the city! According to the administrator, all the exhibits presented are originals and this is very pleasing. Some things can be measured and held in your hands. The children were delighted!
