Everyone praises their alma mater, well, I'll try to add a fly in the ointment. Imho, this is the worst honey in the country. There is no literature, or very little of it. Methodological manuals from Grodno are rarely found. More often I had to teach according to the manuals of other universities, including from Gomel, although there is a young university there. We have problems with dorms. Teachers don't care about students, up to the complete absence of them in pairs. Many refuse to share their knowledge in order not to "breed competitors." Some are truly insane and enjoy bullying students. Cases of harassment towards girls are also in place. A good doctor is a good teacher. It is impossible to complain anywhere – they will torture you with retakes. Nevertheless, absolutely everyone gets a diploma, even imbecile students who have not opened at least one book during the entire period of study (the pure truth). Talented but simple students, in turn, do not have enough opportunities for implementation due to crazy corruption, including in the distribution. The target area is bondage, which many do not know about. The buildings are scattered around the city and equipped with about nothing, sometimes the premises were an ordinary, unpainted basement with tables and benches. In hospitals, students are treated like rats, the student should immediately understand where his place is (wardrobes in dirty basements, it's better not to go anywhere, not to look at anything, but better, "dump" as soon as possible). There is no practical training, in the 6th year resuscitators never intubate. The Practical Skills Center is a "raped" mannequins, in which almost nothing works, because they need to be updated, but there is no money. The whole calculation is that students will become doctors after university, having trained on living people. As a result, doctors come terribly unprepared, the internship becomes a stressful ordeal. 50% of students graduate from this university with depression, OCD, and poor physical health due to constant worries and pressure. There were good teachers and there were enlightenments, but everyone said about it. 3/5. Apply to Minsk if you can.
