I want to share my experience of visiting the Grunwald cafe! This place is simply amazing! 🍽️
First of all, the kitchen is a real godsend! The dishes are incredibly tasty and varied. Each treat was prepared with a soul, and we were completely delighted with everything we tried. 😋
It is also worth noting the beautiful interior. It creates an atmosphere of comfort and style, ideal for both a romantic dinner and a friendly meeting.
We recently held a banquet in Grunwald, and we were very satisfied! All our guests enjoyed everything - from the delicious food to the attentive service. We recommend this cafe for events, because you will definitely get an unforgettable experience in Grunwald!

A cafe in the center of Minsk that claims to be a restaurant. A cozy room. The interior of the painting includes reproductions related to the Battle of Grunwald. Belarusian, old Polish cuisine. We were here in early January with a group of 7 people. The food is not bad, some people liked the dishes, some did not. The staff is not the most polite, the person who met us and escorted us to the table seemed sullen and rude to us.
But most importantly, unfortunately, we saw 2 COCKROACHES. One on the dresser opposite the toilets, the other on the wall right by our table. Unfortunately, we were very tired and no longer had the energy and time to look for a new place. When we showed the waiter the cockroach, he smiled very casually, nodded and left. Then 2 waiters sometimes looked at the cockroach, which made a circle around the walls of the hall and ran away somewhere.
For this "incident" we were offered to remove 3 portions of shingles from the bill.
Naturally, I do not recommend this institution to anyone and never set foot there again.

I have been spending my free time in this institution for several years now, this place in Minsk is iconic, almost iconic. Very colorful, pleasant, high-quality. The only disadvantage is that it is often impossible to sit on the terrace - the incoming contingent of customers smokes cigarettes so that it is not possible to enjoy food and atmosphere in such "flavors"; of course, this is a question for guests, not for the institution, but it becomes a problem literally every time.
The place is really worth a visit. It is ideal for all those who like to enjoy a high-quality meal.
A separate respect for Chateaubriand and Ribay, as well as cottage cheese donuts, is something for which you can return there many times.

Even when some questions arose, everything was calmly and easily resolved
It's hard to say anything about parking - I prefer to visit various places without being a driver. And you need to take into account which part of the city it is. So here we rely solely on the common sense approach of visitors)

A great place in the very center of Minsk on the "Minsk patriki". We have lunch here on weekends after the bath. It is better to book tables, because usually everything is busy, especially in the evening. Very tasty borscht, you only get enough of it. Mutton with prunes is good, but the portion is large, for two. The service is good, but borscht was once carried for 30 minutes. It's a little annoying that payment is only in cash and they don't always warn you about it. I know, but others don't. I'll take off my star for this. It's not a business in the 21st century to carry cash with you.

Always large portions! A lot of dishes are really cooked at home and with love (for example, duck). The menu is very diverse-Belarusian and European cuisine, there is something from Central Asian cuisine, for example lagman soup. truly one of the best places my picky ass has ever been. Here everyone will find their own corner: there is a smoking area, main halls, with warming tables on the veranda. Bohemian atmosphere, courteous and courteous staff. Cleanliness and well-groomed can easily be compared to a luxury hotel. The kitchen and bar deserve special attention: the same items that I order always and everywhere in Grunwald are prepared in such a way that when you mention the most delicious food in Minsk, by default you remember your favorite gru. I was most surprised when I found out that this is a cafe, not a premium restaurant. They only give out prices: everything in restaurants would cost twice as much. But I still do not recommend you to visit this place. I do not recommend it, but I insist that you spend the evening here. That's all I wanted to say.

Apparently, we got there at the wrong time. We had a table booked in advance for 7 people. In the hall, except for us, there were +/- 2 tables occupied. Nevertheless, we waited for lunch for a very long time. The dish was brought unfriendly: someone was eating, and someone was watching someone eat. I had to call the waiter to hurry up the kitchen. Even the coffee was carried for 20 minutes. Swearing and swearing could be heard from the office. I really hope we were just unlucky and it was just a bad day. But I cannot give a high assessment.

I would like to leave a review both positive and not so much. The excellent staff of the hall, waiter Fedor, Vitaly, are positive, smiling but also fast. A good-natured and responsive director who knows how to resolve a conflict, explain and still cheer up. What can not be said about the boss of the institution: incomprehensible behavior and alcohol consumption in front of our eyes. A lot of dishes were refused, and they were still waiting for a long time.
I hope it was just force majeure. I haven't noticed this before. I wish the institution only good reviews. I'm going to visit it anyway.

Disappointment of hopes is the name that can be given to this institution. Hoping for an interesting menu, a good work schedule for breakfast and the proximity of the location, we wanted to have breakfast there (the restaurant was opened the night before). Now for the points:
1. Waiter service-5, very friendly staff willing to help, but unable to do anything with the receptionist and the chef.
2. The chef's rating is 1. Why:
- especially your understanding of tastes. And it doesn't taste good
- the utter impossibility of making a change in a simple, knife-ready dish
- unwillingness to listen to the client!
3. Administrator— assessment 1. In the presence of a client request and a difficult situation, unwillingness to understand and communicate with the client.
Now the facts:
1. Buckwheat porridge with mushrooms and truffle: you will have buckwheat with fresh, onions, finely chopped onions, no taste of mushrooms, but truffle oil is only on the menu pages. In fact, you are not breakfast, in the morning you turn to the aroma of onions. It was impossible to eat onions with buckwheat at all
2. Brioche with poached egg and guacamole - if the client is allergic to garlic and onions, which we warned about, we were informed that guacamole is ready in advance and with garlic. And they refused to replace it with just sliced avocado and a slice of bread. This means that everything is prepared from blanks. And the boss does not want to hear the customers and their peculiarities
3. Croissant— guys, this is not a croissant either in taste or appearance. We ordered a croissant with berries and cheese, but they brought it with cheese and sliced pears. Interestingly, it was in this dish that, without warning, the chef allowed himself to change the dish.
Result:
Complete disappointment from the breakfast, the boss and the administration.

We went into the hall, the waiter cleared the dirty dishes from the table in front of us and offered to sit down without wiping the table. The menu arrived relatively quickly, and I liked the cuisine. There's dust on the windowsill. They smoke in the restaurant and all the smoke goes around the hall. Nearby, a noisy company ruined the whole romance! We waited for the bill for 15 minutes ((( I haven't experienced such a bestial attitude for a long time. I don't recommend it to anyone.

We had a good lunch on the terrace on Saturday. Turkey meatballs are delicious as at home. There is a lot of meat in the pancakes with meat. Orange blossom tastes good. The only drawback was that the tablecloth was not very clean outside.

Good afternoon! We came to Minsk from Russia in order to relax and enjoy Belarusian cuisine! We went purposefully to the Grunwald restaurant. The tablecloth was not fresh, the waitress was smiling and friendly!! When asked if it was possible to pay with a mir card, we were answered, only in cash, and it is possible in dollars, which surprised and outraged us very much. And why not in Russian rubles?!?!
A technical glitch , allegedly. A restaurant full of people! And not all of them are local. The administrator did not answer anything intelligible and did not give any explanations. We left without tasting the promised phenomena. Sorry. We Were Disappointed!!!!

I've been to this place a lot of times. And it's gotten worse lately. The steak was brought cold, the salad is salty (but God be with him, let it be like an amateur). But the waiting time exceeded everything! The bread rolls were served to the dishes after the main dishes were brought and we almost ate them. The dishes were cooked for more than 40 minutes (and it's Monday!!!) !!! I had to look for a waiter and remind him. We mixed up part of the order. The bill was waited for 20 minutes. They didn't wait and went to pay for it themselves. A lot of things can be forgiven if at least they don't forget about you. They approach, apologize, and explain the reasons for the delay. The price tag is not the dining room, why such service? And a portion of bread and its slicing.. in the photo, a portion of bread for two.

It is better to book tables during rush hour, especially on the veranda. The service, the waiters - the most pleasant impression, for 5+, even despite the huge number of people and the workload of the kitchen. The food had to wait, but it lived up to the expectation, it was very tasty and the portions were incredibly large. Mushroom soup, pancakes, side dishes, meat - everything is excellent.

A chic restaurant (I attributed this place to a restaurant, not a cafe). We were here two years ago, we really liked it. We visited Minsk again this year, and went to Grunwald for breakfast the first morning.
