A beautiful and huge complex! But it's a very creepy place for the impressionable. Huge parking lot. There is a cafe. I advise everyone who visits Belarus to visit Khatyn. The impressions of this visit will always remain!!!
A new interactive museum, the opportunity to arrange an on-site tour, wonderful and friendly staff. Thank you for taking care of the memory of historical events based on facts, and not speculation beneficial to someone.
Khatyn is a landmark place in Belarus! Being in Belarus, I just have to visit Khatyn! The place is tragic! A monument - a man with a child in his arms, steles with bells in the places of burned families and their homes, the ringing of bells, the cemetery of burned villages - all this makes a person remember, not forget those tragic events and not allow anyone to encroach on the lives and foundations of residents of towns and villages again.
I didn't like the plastic wreaths and flowers on the sites of burned houses. The museum seemed to be a crude and unfinished object. It is necessary to give visitors a live flower for the entrance money to the museum, which is placed on the memorable places of Khatyn.
A feeling of grief, fear and horror. Of course, all children and grandchildren need to be told about this so that this horror NEVER happens AGAIN!!!
And yes, the moms who took pictures of children against the background of the monument to the old man who carried his dying son in his arms were not clear ....
Personally, I did not want to take this horror out of a terrible place and carry it into my life, so there are NO photos!!!
But the memory remained....
A place that everyone from young to old must visit.
The road to the memorial is good, there are signs. There is a large Parking lot on the territory, there is a Temple, a cafe, a toilet and a sevenary.
The territory itself is quite large and green. When visiting, you understand the horror and cruelty of people, the tragedy that our ancestors experienced. A very deep and meaningful memorial. Tears welled up at the visit. A must-visit, in my opinion, is the most incredible place in all of Belarus.
I've been dreaming of getting to this place for a long time. It's a scary place, very scary if you know the history of Khatyn. And this eerie ringing of bells echoes synchronously in the silence of the forest, reminding of the tragedy.
The memorial is well maintained, convenient to visit, open around the clock, thanks to everyone who preserves the memory for the edification of future generations
It's a pretty dark place in terms of what happened in the village. No matter how many "because of Cardona" try to appropriate the victory for themselves!!! Villages were not burned across the ocean during the Second World War. Sapun Mountain is an equally atmospheric place.....if the guide also tells, only the POLICEMAN DOES NOT GET THROUGH.
Heavily... when the bell strikes mournfully, the heart contracts. When you approach each bell on a stylized chimney and read how many children there were in this house, it's hard to have twins
There are no signs , the road was repaired, everything was fenced off, they acted ugly. Write an announcement that you are not working, is it hard, people are traveling and there is a bad sediment.
A monument of history for all people on the planet. There is a small museum on the territory with 6 halls. Conducted , unfortunately , little informative. There are interactive screens for those who visit the memorial in an unorganized group. Infrastructure: a souvenir shop, aka a ticket office, an exhibition hall, toilets, a large parking lot.
A lump rises in your throat as soon as you take the first steps to the memorial.
This is the place that should be! This is the place to visit! To see with your own eyes what a "civilized" nation is capable of!
If you ever visit Belarus, then you should definitely see and visit the Khatyn Memorial Complex! When you just cross the entrance to the complex and hear the sound of the bell, and they strike every half minute, your heart will stop.
I think everyone should visit this place at least once in their life. Full of sadness, suffering and horror. And try our best to prevent a repeat of such a tragedy. The museum must be visited with audio and video accompaniment. I do not add photos, I think this is a place where it is not worth being a photographer...
We arrived with the children by car, it started raining heavily, which created a special impression of this place. Eternal memory of the dead. The question that never left me: "How so, for what?"
I think that everyone should visit here and then I believe that there will be no wars.
I saw a new temple, visited a new museum.
Everything is very decent!!!
This is our memory. Looking at the memorial, there was a feeling and an idea that you were in that time. And my heart was beating with pain and thoughts that those dead people had to endure. Eternal memory.
I recommend you to visit! Historical memory of the war, you can join any group with a guide and listen. The exhibition itself is free of charge. You can visit the museum at Khatyn for a fee. The price is 6 rubles per person.
No wonder the family stopped by on their way home to Russia, very strong impressions, a well-maintained monument to the victims of fascism. It turned out that my son was not told about this at school, he only finished 11th grade. This is our school curriculum. By the way, in Belarus, in many museums there are young people, and not only visitors...
The restoration and the updated interactive museum were wonderful, you can find out a lot in the search engine with your own hands. A place of memory and sorrow for children
The whole history of the Great Patriotic War must begin with Belarus, Brest and Khatyn. Children should be shown such places and what can happen in case of war. A very powerful and monumental place.
A place to visit. To know how it was. The memorial has a certain goosebumps-like atmosphere. It's both scary and creepy to imagine how this tragedy happened. We went specifically for the tour of our 8-year-old daughter.
A place that is a must-visit for the whole family.! It shocks with its tragedy of the Great Patriotic War! Such memorials do not allow us to forget about the past in order to soberly assess the future.
Disgusting attitude towards customers. Kicked out, before the museum closes. They claim that the operating mode is indicated incorrectly on the door and the website. Although when buying tickets, this is not reported.
The Khatyn Memorial set is a very difficult place. The place is memorable, time has stopped there. The year there is 1943, the month of March. This place should be visited to pay tribute to those who died there. Where in the spring of 1943, the Fascist punitive detachment 188 came to the village and burned it down. Come and read the memory of those who are no longer alive, those who remained in that terrible war. And remember the story.
I visit the Memorial Complex quite often, twice a year, and I always do it on my way to the capital. I don't spare any time. Everyone should remember what happened.
The current reconstruction of the complex in no way interferes with the process of patriotic education.
The ringing of bells in the place of old houses, signs with the data of those who lived before the terrible hour, makes you cry.
And with each ringing, I want to say more and more loudly that the most valuable thing in life is PEACE! Take care OF THE WORLD!
PEACE is health,
PEACE is love,
THE WORLD IS THE FUTURE. THE WORLD IS OUR EVERYTHING!!!
I don't know if words are needed here, but I'll write a couple of sentences. Here, what breaks inside and tears in your eyes when you approach the skeleton of burned houses, you read how whole families with 3, 5 children were destroyed and the bell rings.... I think everyone should visit here.

It is a pity that the birch trees died, which were planted at the opening of the memorial.
