A good department store, a wide range: I bought stationery and cosmetics - I was satisfied, I also like the choice of Mattioli women's bags in the haberdashery section!
I ate many times in the canteen on the 4th floor, the food is delicious, but I didn't like the soups.. The canteen is closed on Sunday, and on Saturday it happens that they give yesterday's food, so it's better to come here for lunch on weekdays.
By the way, food prices, if you eat every day, are not super cheap, on average: mini salads 2-4 r, soups about 4p, meat 7-8, vegetables 3-5p, casserole 4.7r, side dishes 1-3p, desserts and pastries 1-5 r.
With regard to the interior: in comparison with the GUM of five years ago, the changes are already significant. The first floor has been renovated and now it looks very decent - like in a modern shopping center. It is planned to renovate all floors and improve the range of women's clothing by 2026. Still, to finalize it from the outside - and there will be a candy)

We got into GUM purely by accident, at first we were attracted by the sign of the dining room, we went in and did not regret it, everything was very tasty and satisfying, I liked it.
We ran through the floors, had to go in to buy gloves, left our own at home, came here to visit.
The assortment is decent, the prices are overpriced, and I really didn't like that on some harmless question from the series, is there someone at the checkout, the seller Ivanova V. barked at us. Such behavior does not suit the sales consultant of the main store of the country, a very unpleasant aftertaste remained from her rudeness, dissatisfied face and unworthy manners of behavior towards customers 🙄

We visit this store every time we arrive in Minsk. Yes, of course you can go to shopping malls, and find something cheaper somewhere. But here I like that you can buy everything in one place. And locally produced.
Excellent tablecloths with moisture impregnation. Towels in the kitchen, every time you want to buy something.

About the staff. There are very friendly people who will help, tell you, advise you something. And there are those who are sullen, tired, and dissatisfied... In general, as everywhere else. But this does not spoil the attractiveness of that place for me personally.
