It probably wouldn't be too bold to say that this is the best pastry shop in Istanbul. But also the most expensive and delicious bakwala, for which there are queues every day. Tourists carry sweets in boxes.
There is also a cafe where you have the opportunity to try their delicious dessert with ice cream. But there are also constant queues there.
I can't help but mention the service, everything is on the level, it is expressed in small things, but leaves a generally pleasant impression. Starting from the bags in which you will be put dessert and ending with a vacuum cleaner in which your box of sweets is packed.
Well, as a bonus: they give you a taste, for which they are especially grateful😉
Delicious, exotic in an oriental way, diverse, high-quality! These are the advantages. Very expensive! This is a minus. Everyone decides for themselves. But this is one of the necessary moments to get to know the real Turkey!
A popular bakery in Istanbul. It has a huge history. The prices are high, but everything is very tasty, especially if there is a cafe on site. They are packed in a vacuum film for transportation on an airplane. We took everything with us. I recommend it for a visit at least once.
I really love this place, I always take home goodies for gifts, from baklava and nuts, to sets that are collected with you individually, sometimes they give you something to try, in their cafe you can also sit and have a snack with delicious desserts with tea and not only, everything is delicious and not expensive, I advise this institution to visit
Hafiz Mustafa Cafe is one of the business cards of Istanbul and a must have to visit. A very authentic sweet place that is imbued with the spirit of the city.
The varieties of sweets just make your eyes run away, the portions are large, the coffee is very tasty, especially double turkish coffee.
Super pastry shop. Taking Turkish sweets as a gift is the best thing. There are always a lot of visitors, especially if you plan to sit at a table - get ready to wait for a place. If you decide to take it with you, everything is very fast.
Great place, polite staff. There are huge storefronts at the entrance. If you have not decided on the choice, then they give you different sweets to try. In addition, you can sit there quietly, drink delicious coffee and eat branded sweets. I even took it home with me (I tried it in many places, but it tastes better here)
Delicious oriental sweets, high-quality, especially liked the cakes, in the form of pieces, just enough for two or three of its size. The store is clean, the cleaner is constantly working, you can pay with a Union Pay card. The price is the same everywhere in the center of Istanbul.
I enjoyed my first visit to this cafe incredibly. Delicious desserts, helpful staff, views from the window, decoration and tea in a glass "mess" with a piece of the most delicate onion.
I wanted to repeat this experience many times.
And...
I came to another cafe of Hafiz Mustafa. These confectionery products have a completely different taste there. More cloying.
At the same time, there was even a piece of onion on the big tea. You bet! A glass of tea for 60 lire! And this is 180 rubles.
And I came back to where my first visit was. I wanted to enjoy the sunset on the evening of saying goodbye to this amazing city. I was very hungry, but I came here to watch the sunset and enjoy my favorite taste of pahwala. I ordered dessert and a large tea. I wanted to give a small piece of onion that goes with tea to my child, because it is not sweet. And oh no! It was not brought. I asked why. And the waiter looked at me in surprise. He said he wasn't supposed to. But why is it not supposed to be when it is supposed to be in other places of the same network... Then he began to pick up my child in his arms... uh... It's like in general. What kind of liberties? I expressed my displeasure. As a result, the evening was ruined. And on an empty stomach, the pakhvala turned out to be not so tasty....
We looked in around 1:30 (the night from Thu to Fri), there were not very many people, but outside - all the tables are occupied, we were located on the second floor. The choice of sweets is more than sufficient (and everything turned out to be fresh), there is Turkish coffee, Americano and tea from drinks:) . The price tag is certainly not budget, but the city is not the cheapest in the world.
I really like sweets. I wanted to try baklava with ice cream and kaymak. I arrived, ordered, sat on the veranda, the weather is heavenly, the baklava is delicious! There is Wi-Fi.
Tea + a large piece of baklava = 1500 rubles
The best cafe in Turkey, right in the center, convenient, prices are normal, there is a place to sit and relax, there is no heat, you can try everything and then choose what you like.
Delicious, but overpriced and expensive. There are several less popular places in Istanbul with more delicious baklava and a more interesting interior of the establishment.
A small life hack: if you come a little earlier, before the tourist wakes up and the local goes shopping, on the second floor you can take a table by the window overlooking the Golden Horn. With a very, very, very decent view of the Golden Horn. The prices are not the most modest, but this is a tourist center, everything is expensive here
Delicious desserts in different variations. But attention! As the locals said, there was no Mustafa. This is all an invention designed for Arab tourists in Turkey. And the prices are appropriate. The locals go to another place.

A very atmospheric cafe, with amazing staff. There is a beautiful view of the city from the 2nd floor. Very tasty desserts and the best coffee.
The portions of cakes are generally huge! We highly recommend it
One of the oldest coffee shops in Istanbul. There is a whole network of them, you can buy treats with yourself. They are always fresh, and these tin red boxes are simply delicious
In my opinion, it is unreasonably expensive. I am sure that the neighbors are no worse, but the mines are 30% cheaper (I have not tried).
The tea is delicious 🙃
A magnificent view opens from the 2nd and 3rd floor!
Wai how delicious, there will be money I will go, now of course it's for the rich. My wife and I drive around always licking our lips. Hafiz 1864 is very good, give health to everyone.
The oldest confectionery in Istanbul - Hafiz Mustafa Hakka Zade 1864
with wonderful staff and delicious sweets😋🫖👌🍰☕️
If you are lucky enough to sit on the second floor by the window, you will also be able to admire the magnificent views. If you need hotels with you, then everything will be carefully and beautifully packed. I recommend you to visit)
I bought sweets from this company for the first time in Istanbul. The prices, of course, are not cheap, a 0.5 kg box cost 500 Turkish lira in September 2023. But it was worth it. Very tasty, freshest sweets. Now I will only take them🥰
The place was spied on by some blogger… And it's worth it! It's nice to sit on the second floor overlooking a busy street, eat baklava with ice cream and look at the waiters in blue T-shirts)
Two coffees and baklava +-400 liras
Very tasty desserts, the best in Istanbul. There are always a lot of visitors! The price tag corresponds to the quality

Delicious, expensive, very sweet. Unfortunately, tasting portions are not offered to everyone, depending on how they are dressed. If it's quite simple, they won't even get it)
