It's impressive. Complete delight!!! You look like a young man in love and you can't get enough of it. You are fascinated by all the powerful walls, dome, minarets, and interior decoration in it. It's a shame that restoration work is still underway inside and you don't see this beauty in full volume
A beautiful, huge building! Istanbul is the first place to visit! It shows the greatness of Constantinople. More than 1000 years. It is a pity that it did not reach us in its original decoration. The salted place, despite the looting, is impressive!

An indelible impression. One of the wonders of the world, the greatest shrine of all Christianity. Even being reviled by the basurmans, the temple exudes great power and grace. Entering it literally takes your breath away. From the few fragments of mosaics washed from the plaster, one can imagine how magnificently it was decorated. God willing, the time will come and the cathedral will once again become the main Christian church in the world.
A magical place. Assessing the scale and time of construction, you understand why Vladimir chose Orthodoxy for Russia. Hagia Sophia is amazing and charming!
The place is great, it's already amazing. I want to sit quietly. When you go out, it lets you go.. I tried 2 times)
I also want
a ticket that cost 40 lira, but it's worth it. if you take the Museum of Cards, you can save well on tickets
June 2019, the imperial beginning of Orthodoxy...
the Ottomans never surpassed!
now the ceilings are being restored,
there were
a few scaffolding twice
60 liras without a museum card
The museum is a must-visit if you are in Istanbul. The incredible feeling of the architecture and the energy of this place.

It is a pity that now it is a mosque again, and not a museum. Broken Byzantine sarcophagi of the patriarchs are defiantly lying at the entrance (But, if you're lucky, you can catch and pet a local cat.
If this is your first time there, be sure to take headphones..or read about this majestic place in advance. It's better to come in the evening..fewer people..
A magical place! It causes a lot of positive emotions! Plunges into history!!!)))I advise everyone to go there!

A very beautiful building! When you enter it, you immediately immerse yourself in the story... The inscriptions of that time are preserved in the museum. All descriptions of the exhibits have been translated into English. I advise everyone to visit it!
By the way, a ticket there costs 60 liras
I advise you to come before the start of work, 15-10 minutes in advance. The cost of a simple ticket is 60 Turkish lira, and the audio guide is 30 lira for the month of November 2018. A deposit must be left for the audio guide (passport, ID, etc.).
