Visit to the museum. The guide's story is quite detailed and interesting. The tour is in Belarusian. The duration is about two hours . There is a banquet hall in the museum. There is a barbecue and a sauna on site. The opportunity to rent and use. I gave three stars for the fact that there were organizational issues.
A great place for a family vacation. Just enjoy nature, antiques. A very atmospheric place, the beginning of Minsk...
Highly qualified specialists of the museum will tell you everything and show you, feed you delicious pancakes with sponge, treat you to nutritious honey from Vseslav the Magician. The audio guide will introduce you to every detail of the exposition.
We were a family on Sunday (5 people). I liked it very much. We got there on the navigator without any problems. Parking for visitors' cars next to the entrance. It was hot. But there are ice cream and drinks to choose from. First, we visited the museum itself - although small, but left a pleasant impression, including the soundtrack. I think it is necessary. And the castle with an audio guide and 3D visualization was impressive. There are many interesting things from the history of both Minsk and Belarus. And after the excursions, a lunch of traditional Belarusian dishes and drinks was ordered here. Y tym liku i kava z zhaludzey. Thanks to the organizers!
It is interesting and very atmospheric. Beautiful views, an interesting story. It is worth visiting every resident of Minsk, especially schoolchildren with excursions.
I knew roughly where the supposed location of the first city of Mensk was. But I didn't think that it was so easy to see and walk around these places. There's even a special atmosphere there. The only thing was that we were in wet weather and it was very slippery to walk on the wooden steps. I would really like to have a railing made. In the summer, we're thinking of stopping by again.
It was great! Definitely a place to visit! The guys who work there, thank you very much, it's clear that you like it! At the settlement itself, be sure to take an audio guide. The 3rd tour is very useful. There are a lot of exhibits from the ancient settlement in the museum. I advise you to have lunch there and try mead. 6 stars out of 5.
A cool historical place. At the moment, it is a little inaccessible due to the spring weather and the excavations taking place there, but I recommend visiting on a day off and going to the museum nearby and drinking "coffee" from acorns.
A fortress was built here once and this place is considered the founder of the city of Minsk. Then, when the fortress became small (after 3 centuries), they began to build a new fortress on Nemiga.Excavations at this place have yielded many artifacts to prove this version, and they are located in the manor of Stara Mensk. There are excavation sites nearby.I advise you to combine a visit with a guided tour and stories from historians.
A great place to walk on a day off. You shouldn't expect many locations, but the places are picturesque. It is very interesting to see how the excavations are going.
It will be interesting to see, walk with the children, touch the history. And the fresh air won't hurt anyone. It's not far from Minsk. How to diversify your leisure time is even normal. I liked it there.
They say Minsk went from here. An old hillfort in the form of hills. Excavations are underway. The energy of the place is felt. Autumn is the best time to visit this place.
The place is simply amazing. No kidding. Minsk residents! There is a centuries-old history next to us. Right under my feet. It is simply impossible to describe the ramparts that surrounded the old city. It needs to be seen! And after the tour there is a place to sit without pathos and mentally. I recommend it to everyone.
Unexpectedly impressed. And the settlement itself and the museum of Stara Mensk. We spent several hours there with pleasure. I highly recommend taking an audio guide from the museum, it's much more interesting with it. And I liked the 3D presentations too (you will need a booklet from the museum and google lens)

I strongly advise you to visit this historical place. Picturesque nature, excavations, views from the hills - cool!
We took an audio guide with a map to the group, we liked it.
An interesting atmospheric place, there is a place to walk, to appreciate the historical heritage, to participate in the excavations of antiquity. Excellent landscapes from the Minsk settlement , on the banks of the Merka and the Danube
An archaeological monument, I come often because there is an equestrian club nearby and you can take a horse ride. It has changed a lot in the last three years. The slopes of the castle have been cleared of shrubby vegetation, wooden decking has been made for visiting sightseeing locations. There is a small private museum in the Settlements.
The remains of wooden buildings of the 18th... 19th centuries were found at the excavations. And also a lot of little things. All the tales about the great antiquity of this place are fairy tales without facts, without confirmation!
Very cool place! The settlement itself has a complex shape with a branch. The shafts are quite well preserved, stairs are laid on them, so it will not be difficult to climb up. And there are amazing views from above! In addition, you can see how the excavations are going.
It is an amazing place that occupies a key importance in the history of Minsk.
Here you can walk around the castle where the foot of Prince Vseslav Charadei of Polotsk set foot in the distant XI century. Drink cold spring water from the spring.
Look at the Menka River and its former course. And everything is free. It is also easy to get there by minibus from Minsk.
We didn't expect it to be so interesting. We took an audio guide and walked slowly around the castle for 2 hours. Almost every stopping place has a bench where you can relax. If the story is interesting, then he should visit here.
Start your visit with the Old Minsk Museum, where you can take a map, an audio guide and a 3d tour. As it is written by the guys: without a map, these are hills with ladders, with a map this is a castle
It's a beautiful place. The nature is super, the spring was very saving in the heat. It's not a very comfortable place to work. But everyone who is interested in history should visit
Our place of power. Every time you visit the settlement, you discover something new. Majestic panoramas open up before your eyes when you climb the rampart. Our ancestors knew how to choose beautiful places! In addition, it was well protected by rivers (now the shallow Menka River and the Danube stream).
It's better to go straight to the local museum. They treat you to mead for free, if you like it, you can even buy it. Take an audio guide and just enjoy the atmosphere. After the museum, go to the ramparts, there are hiking trails and the view of the village itself is amazing
I was on an excursion on 30.05.2022. I think that this place is open for making money, it does not carry any special semantic load. Well, they will show you a pile (yes, yes, I'm not kidding) of the 11th century and some nails from the excavations. Well, they will show you the place where the city used to stand, of which only the grassy ramparts of the earth remain. That's it!!! The tour is conducted by a cool, very active man, with great humor. But this does not save the situation. It's better to spend time on something more worthwhile. Especially if you have a busy excursion program, it is better to save your strength
I didn't like it very much. Perhaps because repairs were underway nearby. Some springs marked on the map cannot be reached. But the one who is in charge is good.
Nothing special.
