We visited Harbin restaurant for the first time on the recommendation of a Chinese friend who praised this place. The location of the establishment is good, in the very center. Parking is a problem like everywhere else. It is difficult to call the restaurant itself as such, it is rather a cafe. There are few tables in the main hall, but there are about 10 booths for companies. There were three of us and we were not allowed into the booth, they are designed for a crowd. Well, anyway, we just came to eat. The interior is simple, like in roadside cafes. Huge carp swim in the aquarium. A separate counter presents an assortment of Chinese goodies (snacks, seeds, sweets and even moon cakes!). They also serve Chinese beer and vodka. I don't know the prices, for some reason there are no drinks on the menu. The menu itself is funny, a la cafe in Thailand - a direct translation from Google and a bunch of mistakes. Urzhali with the names of dishes🤣
Well, actually about the food. The portions are simply huge. A whole bowl of soup was brought)) we ordered chicken stew with mushrooms. They also brought a large basin. but! IT'S NOT CHICKEN, guys! It was a goose)) we did not swear and change, hunger is not an aunt. I had to eat what I was given))
At the end they brought the bill, it also said "chicken")) But it was definitely a goose. There is not enough meat, mostly bones. But funchosa with minced meat is just a HEAVENLY DELIGHT!!! The portion is decent, we couldn't finish it. Sour-spicy soup of the "Kung Fu" type is not at all spicy. And in general, all the dishes were not spicy. Although the restaurant positions itself as Sichuan. Probably need to ask in advance to cook sharper. The good thing is that we have been replaced with minced pork with chicken in funchose. It is necessary to say in advance to make "halal" and they will do it without pork.
The visitors were all Chinese. Along the way, the owner of the establishment is Chinese)) The green tea was delicious. The service is fast, the dishes were brought with lightning speed. The waitress girls speak Chinese and Kazakh. The toilet is so-so, the faucet was broken. It's smoky in the corridor, although we were told that you can't smoke inside.
Well, in general, we liked everything except the mutant chicken)) It's like we've been to China again. We'll come again😎
A very specific place. Purely Chinese. There are toads and turtles. But I didn't dare to try. I ate pork Gabajou - it's just super! Everything is as it should be - delicious and a large portion.
An amateur restaurant. This is a typical Chinese restaurant with all the consequences that follow from here in terms of interior, comfort and decor. Frogs in barrels at the entrance. But our Chinese guests have had enough
