There are no police officers near the landmark (unlike Khor Virap, Garni, Geghard), so the locals boldly beg for money for "parking" — 200 drams. They stand behind the car so they can't back up without running over it. However, as in the neighboring tourist spots, we are glad to bargain with you.
I recommend getting up either further away or parallel along the road. You will leave without unnecessary conversations and will not spoil your mood once again when traveling around Armenia on your own.
