This masjid (mosque) is one of the biggest masjids in Tashkent. Anyone can enter and see it. However, I recommend females to wear more modest and decent clothes before entering this praying place.
A beautiful complex of historical buildings. Beautiful and somehow peaceful place in a special way. On the spot, for a small service, the guides will offer an informative tour - I advise you not to neglect, you will learn a lot of interesting things!
It is also one of the ancient sights. Inside there is a beautiful mosque, prayer rooms for sacred rites and rituals. There is a cemetery nearby. Everything is so atmospheric and colorful! If you are a fan of oriental architecture, then you will love it!
When visiting Tashkent, I recommend visiting this place. Monumental buildings of local culture combined with a well-maintained shady park where you can hide from the scorching sun. It was interesting to visit Hazrati as a cultural monument. We didn't go inside, but we walked around with pleasure. There are many tents on the territory of hazrati where you can buy souvenirs from Uzbekistan. Before visiting, study the history of hazrati, and then watch. It is a very beautiful and large ensemble that can be viewed for a very long time.
A must-visit place! Architecture, atmosphere, color! I found myself here at sunset, the setting sun colored the buildings in a special way. It won't take much time to inspect, but it's definitely worth taking an hour to walk around the square and inspect the courtyards of the buildings. They also sell souvenirs here.
It's a little far from the subway. But either on foot (who likes walking) or by taxi
This landmark is undoubtedly the jewel of Tashkent, its highlight. At the time of our visit, the facility was under renovation. There are many souvenir vendors in the courtyard.
The complex contains important relics for believers. Clean, beautiful, interesting. There are souvenir shops in the madrasah, they are not only recommended to visit for the purchase of souvenirs, but also look very picturesque, although trading in a place designed for science and spiritual self-improvement rather evokes melancholic moods... One of the main attractions, a must-visit.
Nicely. But the explanations are only in Uzbek and English.
A large number of souvenir shops.
To sit, drink tea, relax, there is no place.
I didn't find the audiobook.
It's just magical... A place worth coming to more than once, the entrance to the complex itself and the mosque is free of charge, 50,000 soums for admission to the Koran Museum, pomegranate juice and hot tea-coffee are sold on the territory (it was by the way in December). There are a lot of souvenir shops, no one is pulling at their sleeves, the sellers, they are also souvenir manufacturers, are just busy with work. The price tag for souvenirs is very acceptable
An incredibly beautiful place. Still such forces are felt. It is a great opportunity to walk through the land where it used to be the center of all pilgrims' prayers. To get to the story, to see all the power, to cry with happiness
A historical place, beautiful, everything is decorated with tiles with Uzbek motifs. there are shops inside where you can buy souvenirs. By the way, you can pay with a Unionpay card there, which is very convenient.
There is an active mosque in Tashkent, a large beautiful territory, they could not go inside the mosque itself, as the service was going on, they walked around it. There are 2 madrassas nearby, and souvenir shops inside one of them.
It is beautiful, monumental and calm. No one grabs hands, does not try to sell something.
You can wander around the souvenir shops like in a museum.
A real oriental fairy tale)))
It's very beautiful, of course. It's great that we came to the very end of prayer and were allowed in. These stunning patterns of blue and white are a beauty!
Very nice, well maintained. It fully introduces you to the architecture and culture of the East. It's a very interesting place, I recommend it to everyone!
The beauty, the huge space, the square in front of the mosque.High minaret, Guided tours. You can go inside. Beautiful azure domes, mosaics, another building is being erected nearby.there are green alleys and a mahalla nearby.
The complex is undergoing major restoration. The square is completely blocked off, but the buildings themselves are accessible to the public, and souvenirs are also sold. There are few signs, you need to ask, because to get to each one you have to go around the fence from different sides.
A very beautiful ensemble consisting of several historical attractions. The pearl of this place is the most ancient manuscript of the Quran of Uman. A large green area, as well as many artisan stalls. A great place to visit for both foreign tourists and residents of Uzbekistan!
When visiting Tashkent, I recommend visiting this place. Monumental buildings of local culture combined with a well-maintained shady park where you can hide from the sun
The Hazrati Imam Ensemble was erected near the grave of the imam of Tashkent, a scientist, an expert on the Koran and Hadith, one of the first preachers of Islam in Tashkent, poet and artisan Hazrati Imam.
The tomb of the imam is located inside the mausoleum. Later, other buildings began to be erected around it, which later became part of the complex. Some were built 500 years ago, and the last building, the Hazrati Imam Mosque, was built in 2007 on the initiative of the then President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov.
The majestic architectural structure in the style of the Islamic Renaissance will be used as a museum. The Center for Islamic Development .Here there will be materials about the scientific and cultural achievements of Islamic scientists.
The pearl of Tashkent, which has the same significance for the city as the Registan complex for Samarkand, as Poi Kalon for Bukhara, as Ichan Kala for Khorezm. A beautiful architectural and religious complex, which includes the period of buildings from the XV to the XIX century.

The architectural ensemble turned out to be very harmonious. The architects managed to fit the new building (the cathedral mosque) into a single complex with an ancient tomb, a madrasah, and two mosques. Here you can not only admire the beauty of buildings with blue domes, but also see the shrines of the Muslim world - the hair of the Prophet Muhammad and the world's oldest handwritten Quran on buckskin parchment.
It's great and interesting to see someone else's culture. Great respect for the people of Uzbekistan, cultured and good-natured! They will always explain and prompt everything. Artisans and sellers like to talk about their goods and are well behind in price. I bought boxes with a secret there for my wife and mistress!
The complex is undergoing major renovation
Everything is fenced, you need to walk between fences to get into different buildings. You got upset, you just wasted your time!
Maybe something will change in a year, but the reconstruction and construction are very large-scale.
Almost the only ancient landmark. People travel long distances for this, but in the end we came to the fence. Everything is under reconstruction (there is no information about it anywhere). One facility is open, but until 17.00.
An architectural monument of different eras
In Tashkent, compared to Bukhara or Samarkand, there are not so many historical attractions, the Hazrati Imam complex, which is revered by locals as a shrine, is one of them. The ensemble includes both ancient, well-restored buildings and modern ones, artfully executed in ancient traditions.
A must-visit place if you are in Tashkent. A corner of an oriental fairy tale. Several buildings on the same square. The territory is large. The views are grandiose.
It's beautiful, but right now there's a global renovation/construction going on, so the impression is a bit blurry. I'm sure that when everything is finished, it will be great!
Hazrati Imam ensemble is one of the most important religious and historical complexes of Tashkent City and is a sacred shrine with deep reverence for Islamic culture and history. The ensemble is located close to the Chorsu market, on the territory of the Old City and is distinguished by its unique architectural traditions and rich historical significance.
The Hazrati Imam ensemble includes several important installations:
1. Barokkhan madrasa-established in the 16th century, many Muslim ulama were educated in this madrasa. Its architectural style reflects the Islamic traditions of Central Asia, with walls and domes elaborately decorated.
2. Tilla Sheikh mosque-this mosque is perceived by Muslims of Uzbekistan as an important place. The Tilla Shaykh mosque is famous as the place where the ancient manuscript of the Quran, the Uthman Quran (one of the most ancient copies of the Quran in the world, written in the 7th century), is kept.
3. Hazrati Imam mausoleum-the mausoleum of Hazrati Imam, which gives the name of the complex, is dedicated to the memory of Abu Bakr Kaffol Shoshiy (10th century). He was a prominent Islamic scholar and tabarruk figure. The mausoleum is revered by many pilgrims.
4. Muyi Mubarak madrasa is the place where the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.v.) the name “Muyi Mubarak” was given to the madrasa due to the preservation of the Blessed strand of hair. The Madrasa is notable for its history and religious significance.
The Hazrati Imam ensemble is not only a monument of Islamic culture, but also a place of peace and spiritual purification. Visitors are not only introduced to history and culture, but also have the opportunity to enrich their inner spiritual world.
A very beautiful place! You can take a lot of beautiful photos, take a walk, buy souvenirs. By the way, magnets here turned out to be the cheapest of all the places we have been (Chorsu, parks, shops).
Good afternoon. The architecture is amazing. What can you write about such places, it is a place of spiritual and physical strength, no matter what denomination you belong to and what nationality, the Almighty is one.
A great place. Beautiful oriental architecture. Everything is done there anyway, right on the line. The tiles on the ground are perfectly placed, it's nice to walk. A kind of basil grows in the mosque, which smells nice in the courtyard. Inside the mosque is very beautiful, especially in the evening, before sunset, the photo shows. There is a park next to the ensemble.
It is beautiful, colorful, there are shops of national crafts on the territory, the prices of milking handmade products are not overstated, the sellers are friendly. On the territory there is a museum of the Koran very interesting and informative (signs in 3 languages)
This was the first place I visited in Uzbekistan. It has been restored well, a huge area, interesting. The mosque is still closed to the public, and repairs are underway.
The monument embodying the harmony of the past and the present has not lost its greatness to this day. For those who have not visited it yet, I recommend that you definitely visit it.
