We were in the sanatorium for 1 day and were horrified ! The terrible Oksana castle in the dining room, snatched 2 eggs from her husband at breakfast, shouting that 1 was allowed, although an element of the buffet was declared, told visitors not to steal, although no one did it in the pit, imposed her private sector on us for 4000 a day, and for refusing spoiled the mood and was rude, the compote was diluted, people were outraged, there was no food, there were no additives, everywhere there were inscriptions about the dangers of food and about a feeder with sparrows, a contingent of elderly people, like in an almshouse. We offered a room with a view of the garbage dump opposite the kitchen on the 1st floor for 6000, ran away on the trail, had a great day and had a great rest in beautiful Athos, I do not advise anyone this horror.

We had a rest in October 2023. The reality has exceeded expectations. We checked in immediately upon arrival, without waiting for the check-out time. Beautiful lobby. Standard room on the 2nd floor, no frills, clean, huge bushes of flowering rhododendrons outside the window, beauty! Dining room for my husband and me and the rest (my mother and aunt were with us at the age) I liked it, the food was delicious, there were enough portions for everyone (I don't understand how someone writes that they didn't have enough). The location of the hotel is excellent, the sea and all the sights are nearby. The staff is friendly. We plan to come here again this year.

I put only two stars, it all started with the fact that we needed a hotel with a history and a beautiful entourage, we found this one, in the photo in the rooms there are old brick masonry, furniture, a samovar, everything is spectacular, we write off, we clarify whether this room is booked for us, we send a picture, they answer that yes, the old room is booked, they send in response, a photo of the room. We arrive, we are settled ..... They settle us in some kind of outrage, instead of an old room with masonry, an incomprehensible room with bluish wallpaper, a leaky sofa and furniture from the late 90s, to our perplexity they tell us it's all the same thing that you don't like, we ask where the room that we were promised is, to which we hear -but this one is better, there is a new renovation. As a result, the hostess of the hotel was called, it turned out that our room was occupied and would be free only after three days, the price for this ugly room was the same, the mood was spoiled. They offered a room with antique masonry, but with a single bed and the same area, without a balcony and with a view of the garbage dump... They refused such luxury and decided to stay in a room with bluish wallpaper. Of the advantages, the windows overlooked the courtyard with a view of the New Athos monastery, it was quiet enough, you couldn't hear the noise of the roads. From the menu, three-course meals, the usual canteen food that could be better, the staff in the dining room is very friendly and nice.

The location is good. The place is suitable for a budget tourist. The food is like in the dining room. The rooms are damp, the ones with bluish wallpaper) The noise from the road is wild, but the view is beautiful. You can have a view of the construction site / garbage dump for it to be quiet😁 the choice is yours. The pool cannot be built for 3 years, but they promise annually)) Everything is very nice and good-natured in Abkhazian. In order not to get upset, you do not need to have a lot of hopes, this is not Turkey and not even the same Abkhazia 5* all inclusive, which is also the case. So it's very good, but there are disadvantages described above.

We went three times. The first year - the food was terrible! I had to finish eating in cafes and canteens, because what I was fed was impossible to eat.
Now they have built a dining room in the courtyard, spacious. New chef, menu... It's like in Rio de Janeiro and you're wearing white pants.
I like the rooms on the first floor the most - real castle halls. It's a pity that without air conditioning, but they are cheaper.
I had a tradition - on the first day of arrival, I ordered the film "A60lit-66" on the big screen at the reception. If we go again, I will continue the tradition.
But last year, the price tag soared very much, so we went on vacation to Gudauta (I didn't like it).

When we rested, there seemed to be enough places for everyone. The food is good: a lot and delicious. There is not much variety, but the dishes are not repeated during the week. The place is atmospheric, the staff is friendly. The sea is right across the road. You can walk behind the building through a small park via an underground passage to the beaches on the east side (in the direction of the White Beach). Immediately at the exit there is a beautiful park with the landmark Swan Lake. The monastery and the waterfall are a pleasant walk away. The only inconvenience is that the Sukhumi highway passes right under the windows, along which the horsemen like to drive at night with a breeze and loud exhaust.

We rested at the hotel in July 2021. A good Seymain hotel, ideal for a family holiday. It is located right on the seashore. Spacious rooms with air conditioning. Delicious cuisine with very large portions (we asked the chefs to put it on children's plates, because the choice is large, but they put it from the heart).
It would be great if they made sun beds for guests on the beach at the hotel.

We visited the Sanatorium Abkhazia in September 2022. I finally got to the review when I found the photos of the room. It's just A SHOCK!!! The hotel is not cheap, and the service and attitude are disgusting.At the entrance to the hotel, everything is already clear. Everything is beautiful in the photo, but in real life it is so-so and immediately "rushes" an unpleasant smell of dampness. We booked through an agency. How they work with each other is unclear. The room was supposed to have a balcony and a sea view. As a result, there was a sea view, but there was no balcony. The room itself (I showed 2 rooms in the photo) is terrible, like a "cabin" with furniture. The stench, the dirt. The cups and kettle are dirty. There's someone's hair and garbage in the toilet. Dust. There is no threshold. My husband broke his finger on this threshold. There is no way to resolve the issue normally. The hotel owners don't care. The administrator then complains to an incomprehensible man who threatens (literally, uses obscene language in conversation) . Our room was changed, but!!! The bed was DIRTY. A room with a view to nowhere... Furniture "hug and cry" Cleaning (only floors will be wiped) and towels will be changed if reminded. The very woman who cleans everything, she's smart. Apparently the owners came up with this type of cleaning.But such a volume is unrealistic. At least I haven't seen the others. For 2 people, 1 piece of soap. It is clear that we took everything we needed with us. The fact itself. The furniture is old from the word at ALL. When coming to the dining room, do not forget to ask who is the last one))) The menu is for 3+. The sweet girl

People have been waiting for a vacation for years, if possible, they want to have a good rest. Everything is fine on the hotel's websites, but not in real life. Rested together with my daughter July 2023. We all remember the hotel))). If you love peace and quiet, then you are here! There are no violent, noisy, loud ones here. Next to a large park and an embankment with cafes, you can walk there, and go to the hotel to rest. Very good location. Within walking distance of almost all the sights of New Athos. From the room window we could see the Monastery, 10 minutes to the old station, 15 minutes to the caves. At the reception you will be offered excursions, and they will also advise you what is better. They climbed all along and across. The sea is across the road, there are few people on the beach. The price of the rooms is for a different purse, there are cheaper, with amenities on the floor, there are more expensive, everything is in the room. The hotel "antique". Mega‑friendly staff. Moreover, absolutely all employees are friendly!!! Upon arrival, we were immediately fed, despite the fact that lunch time was over. The food is delicious. You can ask for a supplement, but we ate too much. Anya is a super‑positive administrator, she will always help, show, tell. Everyone in the dining room is very friendly. Arevik greetings to our beloved ladies, who brewed me wonderful coffee in the morning)). The owner of the hotel has a separate respect, I think if she reads the review, she will understand who left it)). This wonderful hostess does everything and even more to ensure that no one disturbs the peace and rest of her guests. The guard is smiling, the cleaners too. Everyone always says hello to everyone. It was sooo nice for us to be there. They left with tears, really. We still remember the farewell scene. If there are disadvantages, then the hotel employees themselves know about them and correct them. Right during our vacation, we could see how the hotel was being transformed, none of the employees were sitting idle. Anya told me what else will be completed in the near future. To be honest, I couldn't bring myself to write a review for a long time, we are very afraid, after many positive words, more people will go there and prices will rise))). We rested for 6 days from June 19th. At first we were upset because we booked a comfort room, but there were problems with the wiring and we were put in a family room of the 1st category. But a day later they moved into our room. Please note that accommodation on the 1st floor and 2nd floor of the hotel will have different reviews. It is very damp on 1m. It's 2 m nicer. The comfort room is great, large, Wi-Fi TV, Windows overlook the sea, but at the same time on the highway, but this did not bother us, there are many sockets in the room, good repair. The dryer is electric in the bathroom, which helped a lot. Moreover, in the family room, where we lived for a day, the dryer was homemade, spoiled my swimsuit, few sockets and the TV channel 1 TNT.
They cleaned every other day, although it was stated every day. We had a lot of garbage piling up. The hotel was very pleased with the availability of a washing machine for free, with its own powder and several dryers in the lobby, where it is convenient to dry things. Nutrition is a separate topic. We were very upset at first. In small portions. But everything is fresh, different, really ordinary. As a pioneer camp. The egg was seen 1 time for breakfast on Sunday. There is no coffee in the morning. Instant coffee drink only in bags. Fish meat if if given then gr. 80. There are no fruits at all. The girl at the reception is lovely. The staff are all polite. The Wi-Fi in the hotel is excellent. The location of the hotel is fire, everything is nearby. I took off the star for the food. But once again, I would like to draw your attention to the fact that the review is based on staying in the comfort room. The beach across the street is not equipped, but to the right 100 m there is a beach with a cafe and sun loungers 250 rubles. And sunshades.

The historical sanatorium is located on the 1st coastline, from the windows of the rooms you can contemplate the sea, all the sights are within walking distance. The room stock is dilapidated, but this does not negatively affect the rest, if there is an opportunity, I will definitely return here again. Queues in the dining room gather 5 minutes before the opening. If you come a little later, you may not get something. The information on the website about the master classes is a hoax. Canteen opening hours: 8-9, 13-14, 18-19. There is no buffet, there are its elements: for breakfast there are 2 types of sausage, cheese, cereals, balls, toppings, the rest is strictly imposed. God forbid to take 2 eggs per person, there will be a scream, since one is supposed to be. For lunch, the buffet includes olives, olives, carrots, beans, and that's it. There is no buffet for dinner. The portions are very unbalanced: rice and pasta are piled high, meat is good if 50 grams, even for a 5-year-old child it was not enough.

If your Windows overlook the courtyard, you will see beautiful bushes, a garbage dump and the construction of a future swimming pool. Food is a separate song) It's not even the Soviet Union, it's a live queue where portions from the menu are handed to you. There is only porridge to choose from in the morning.

The nature is gorgeous, the hotel staff is open, friendly, if you need anything at the hotel they will help, room cleaning, clean towels, free Internet. The rooms are being renovated, they are slowly repairing what they can, and a swimming pool is being built. Interestingly, part of the building is the Genoa Tower. Iverskaya Mountain and the road to the cave of St.Simone Kananita gives a feeling of the presence of God on this earth, it is better to visit, words cannot convey.
Here we have already left, a little sad and I want to return to the land of the Soul again!

I had a rest from 8.07 to 18.07. 2021. Many thanks to the hotel staff for the hospitality and the cozy atmosphere created. Everyone is received in Abkhaz as dear guests. Special thanks to the administrator Oksana for her professionalism and kindness. The food is varied and delicious, especially pastries.The location of the hotel is convenient in all respects: the sea is across the street, there is also a pier with a pleasure boat, all the sights of New Athos and shopping malls are within walking distance. The plumbing and household appliances in the rooms are in good order, the water is hot, there is air conditioning, a refrigerator and a kettle, linen and towels are changed as expected, special thanks for cleaning the room too.Excursions can be purchased at the reception - everything will be explained, picked up from the hotel. We had a vacation with my wife in early September. The location is good. It's close to the sea. That's why we chose this sanatorium.
The furniture in the rooms is old, everything is cracking. The air conditioner is cracking like a tractor. The TV is not working. Room cleaning is normal. There is always a queue in the dining room. The food is homemade, but monotonous. Porridge is served for breakfast every day.
There are friendly girls at the reception: Anya and Katya. Thanks a lot to them.

A pleasant exception is the creative stop in the form of a large umbrella next to the hotel and the fact that the sea is not far away

And even in order to take a great photo in the room, you need to check in here)) the only thing I didn't like was that the power is on now.. and it's more interesting for me to go to the cafes of Abkhazia, try various national dishes.. We are in this hotel now. We have never had a rest in such terrible conditions. The rooms have old shabby furniture, as if they were picked up from a garbage dump. The food is terrible!!! For breakfast, they give porridge on the water. For lunch, balanda soup, only water and no meat. The salad is put on a plate with the second course, like pigs. There's not even a hint about dessert. The sanatorium is more like a homeless shelter. It's a pity the money we paid for the tours. We read the reviews. They were positive. But now we understand that this is all a hoax. There is not even a shelf to put a bar of soap on.The only plus is that the sea is close, the sea is wonderful, despite being caught in the rain. Thanks to the SEA!
