The hotel is located in the business part of the city next to office buildings. Great for those who come on a business trip, but for those who come on vacation, in my opinion, the location is not the most convenient. It is far from the embankment, not close to the metro, there are restaurants and cafes nearby, but the best ones are much further south. The hotel itself is clean, we did not have any problems to evaluate the work of the staff. The main plus that I want to note is a shower cabin and a rain shower, just a cannon!!! We didn't take breakfast, so I can't say anything about the restaurant. I took off the star because the rooms urgently need cosmetic repairs, the furniture is worn, the walls and carpets are embroidered, the hotel is not cheap, they could have already scraped together repairs and new furniture. I think this hotel is not the best option in this price category, if I return to Baku I will choose, Radisson, the money is the same, but the quality and location are better.
So, I continue my trip to Baku hotels.
Holiday Inn is a pretty well-known chain, but it was this hotel that changed my mind in every sense.
I'll start as always in order.
Positive:
1) For me, one of the big advantages is walking distance to the shopping center. There are 2 shopping malls near the hotel: Crescent Mall and Port Baku. I won't tell you about the shopping centers themselves, everything is clear there. But from this plus comes a minus… The hotel is quite far from the metro... although this is not a disadvantage for me personally, since I use a taxi or rent a car.
2) Quick Check in. Maybe it was just lucky, of course, but we came in with another family at the same time and kind of quickly.
3) Rooms. We took two identical rooms, in general, I liked everything, except for the lack of personal hygiene kits. And I'm not talking about razors or maybe expensive face and hand cream, but elementary dental kits (toothbrush and paste).
I can't say about the kitchen, because I didn't take either breakfast or dinner.
As for the cons, it's still a subjective opinion, everyone will find the cons in something that they consider important.
In general, the hotel is good, but it grows and grows up to 5 stars
I really liked it , the service is excellent, the rooms are clean , it smells nice, the food is delicious but the prices bite , the staff are lovely girls who are always happy to help
A good hotel with excellent staff who are ready to help with all questions. The kitchen is on the middle level. I liked the breakfasts on average - on some days there were no croissants and red fish for breakfast, on some there were. In one of the conference rooms there were no sockets for turning on computers, but an extension cord was quickly organized. The standard rooms have a view of another building, where there are people around the clock and you need to close the curtains or look towards the sea - everything is fine with this view. The staff was especially pleasant to serve - well done.
The hotel is very inconveniently located, far from the metro and from the old town. Be patient. The hotel was booked a month in advance. When booking, it was CLEARLY indicated that we would need to sleep after a long flight and asked that the room be prepared. Moreover, during the week they called the hotel itself directly and reminded about it. As a result, the room was not ready for our arrival. From the word at all!As a result, we spent about 50 minutes on it. Breakfast at the hotel is monotonous. Fried bacon is always cold and rubbery. The currency exchange ATM is not working. During the week, it was not possible to change dollars into manats. I had to do it in the city center. The only people who have no questions about work are the waiters in the restaurant and the maids. They're all trying. In rainy weather, the hotel provides umbrellas, which are difficult to close. And then you have to hunt for umbrellas, because there are very few of them. The price of the hotel does not match the quality of the services provided. We do not recommend the hotel.
The hotel is located in the center of Baku - good location, within walking distance - Primorsky Boulevard, shops, restaurants. The rooms are spacious, clean, bright, Russian and English are spoken at the reception. There is a spa hammam, a Finnish bath - for men, separately for women, massage, a swimming pool - open until 22:00. For breakfast - buffet - a variety of dishes, there are fruits - melon, peaches, nectarines, nuts, pears, bananas. I recommend it!
Wonderful hotel, friendly and helpful staff. I would especially like to mention the SPA complex and the masseur Arzu. Thanks to her professionalism and sensitive, attentive attitude, the rest turned out to be not only pleasant, but also very useful.
Excellent hotel , large rooms, good service, buffet breakfast (Turkey is all inclusive). The restaurant on the ground floor--- excellent lamb and pilaf shah just had an ideal taste and a very reasonable price.
But it is a 10-minute walk to the embankment, also close to all the necessary shops.
I've never left hotel reviews, but it's worth it here. Old numbers. Expensive. The staff at the reception does everything only from the second or third time.
At lunchtime, when the child is sleeping, the rooms below the floor are being renovated using a perforator. At the same time, the puncher works without pauses.
The only good thing is cleaning.
If you do not need a suite with a full bathroom and kitchen, there is no point in staying here.
When visiting this hotel, I realized that the uniform quality standard adopted for this network segment is not about this hotel...
There is something with the ventilation system in the hotel. It is not very breathable on the floors, there is a musty smell. The room has a persistent smell of moldy mustiness with a pronounced strong smell of smoke. All things were saturated with these smells at the moment. Airing (opening the window) does not help. The room is full of mosquitoes.
Upon arrival, the room was not equipped in terms of the number of visitors and the number of accessories. You need to contact the reception several times to get what you need. The room itself: the wallpaper has come off in places, smudges on them. Toilet room: there were a couple of floor towels, then one, then it disappeared altogether... The floor tile lives its own life, since it has moved away from the floor-it plays.
Breakfasts: compared to hotels in this network segment, they are poor.
I'm sorry, but I'm very disappointed with this hotel.
On a further visit to Baku, I will use a hotel of another network segment.
The biggest negative is the smell of smoke and mustiness, even in a suitcase.
Horror....
Great hotel! In a beautiful historical place, the number of rooms has been updated. The views are amazing, though not on the sea, but also nothing 😇 Breakfast for 5, everything is fresh, the choice is great, special thanks to the excellent waiters who definitely did not miss the requests of the guests.
Price-quality ratio 👍. In the room there are slippers, tea, coffee. Shampoo, soap and shower gel in large containers, not disposable. The mattress and pillows are comfortable. There are Russian-language channels. Very nice view from the breakfast room. The breakfast itself is also normal: coffee is served by order, Azerbaijani tea in a teapot. Delicious jam and honey. Fruits, vegetables, sliced. They make dishes from eggs. Bakery products. The reception speaks Russian. Cleaning every day.
In general, it's good, only the breakfast is weak and it's a pity that the reception does not know the city well, where and what is important for a tourist, although everyone is friendly and polite
The room was not ready for check-in. Instead of two beds, one. After the request, they pushed it apart. At the time of arrival, there were still dirty mugs, and even a toilet bowl. This was the first time in the practice of travel. The room has a door to the next room with poor insulation. In the evenings, the voices kept me awake. Room cleaning for a weak C grade. The bead left on the floor had been lying there for 4 days, which we lived there.
The breakfasts are good, with a choice. On the eve of departure, all mornings, lunch boxes were ordered in advance, which were not ready in the morning.
I guess the hotel disappointed me.
The reception is not very attentive. Neither the time of breakfast, nor on which floor, was said. Yes, that's right... The elevator was also not shown where ... It's a pity, since the hotel is very well located and generally not bad
Hyped reviews. The hotel is for 3 people!!! Tubby (even bedside tables). Smelled of smoke. The SPA is not working. Elevators are being repaired. Breakfast (because of it, after reading a lot, I took the hotel) about nothing. Everything is salted (bacon, fish, ham). Stewed vegetables seemed to be nothing, if you dig deeper, the second portion is fatty. They do not clean the tables promptly. Far from the old town. If I go to Baku next time, I will take a family hotel at half the price of this, yes - breakfast will be simple. But for the difference, you can eat tastier next to each other and also drink. And so in the evening I also had to spend money on a taxi. Aah - and the view from the window is full of alessi ...... And the cherry on the cake - Aww, find a brush))))) the first hotel without it))))
Maybe once the hotel was great... but now, compared to other hotels, it's no good at all. For a maximum of two ⭐️⭐️. The furniture is old, the rooms are worn out, the double bed consists of two separate beds and mattresses 😳 are you kidding me??? The mattress itself is dirty and collapsing, the lining is stained, the seals in the shower are mildewed, the diffuser is clogged... the platbands are smeared. Towels with rags... the curtains are smoky and wrinkled. In general, it's a pity for the money spent and spoiled sleep ☹️

I love the IHG network. High standards of service, excellent breakfasts, very good room cleaning, water on request. Fly in the ointment: all additional services are prepaid only, which looks very strange for a frequent traveler… I gave my jacket to the cleaners - it was returned only 1.5 days after payment. Upon check-in, I agreed on a late check-out - so on the day of departure, I ate all my brains until I paid 50% of the day… We need to work on this!
A good hotel , a beautiful view from the window , good breakfasts , the pool is a little warm and small , and in the sauna benches dirty towels . But overall the impression is very good . The staff is service - everyone speaks Russian without any problems, is responsive and tries to help. Not far from the embankment , the location is good
A great hotel! We had a two-room suite just a delight. Breakfast in the restaurant on the top floor with a view of the sea from the windows. I recommend it!
The staff is polite, but any request is fulfilled only after 3-4 reminders. The location is a little far from the center, but a taxi is fast. The room was clean, the air conditioning works well.
A wonderful spa area, delicious well-served varied breakfasts, a large selection of fruits, pastries, sweets, nuts, dried fruits, I would like less salty fish. The service in the rooms is not very high quality, but helpful
The rooms are clean, but the windows are dirty. The breakfast is quite decent. The pool is allowed only in a cap bought at the reception in the spa complex. Dressing gowns are not given. Air conditioners work poorly (practically not regulated). At the same time, good ergonomics of the room with a convenient place to work. (very convenient)!
Very cozy hotel in the center of Baku. A well-organized service. There is a currency exchange inside, which helps a lot.
I stayed there for almost a month, I was satisfied.
The staff is very friendly and attentive.
Nice view from the window!!! Great breakfasts !!! We went to a gorgeous pool in the morning and in the evening, we just need a hat !!! I had to buy it, everything was fine, only overshadowed by the fact that the refrigerator did not work! We asked to make or change it, said that it should be so!) and our baby 's curd milk has all gone bad !
A clean and cozy place, nearby a large shopping center, an embankment, there is a place to walk!
Breakfast is on the top floor, in good weather you can admire the sea views.
The room and location are excellent! Cleaning, bed linen, corresponds to the class of the hotel! In the fitness area, a dead sauna and a non-working pool😀
Nice big hotel. Comfortable and comfortable rooms. In addition to standard accessories, each room has an iron and ironing board. A very rich breakfast buffet. Good fitness center and swimming pool.
Great hotel, everyone speaks Russian. Clean spacious rooms, good cleaning. Good breakfasts. Convenient location, everything is within walking distance.
Baku welcomed us with a wonderful hotel, where the same excellent reception staff offered us a room on the 11th floor with beautiful views of the Caspian Sea. Breakfast is served on the 18th floor, where you will always be offered fragrant coffee. I like everything
Excellent chain hotel in Baku, near the government. All according to the highest Holiday standard. Excellent breakfasts that will not leave anyone hungry. Large, clean, comfortable rooms.
Excellent hotel price quality everything for 5
Good rooms match their price
Excellent very friendly staff accidentally forgot your phone do not be lazy to call Moscow to say that they have the device thank you
Service for 4. Food for 4. Rumservice for 2. The rooms are on a weak 3. Half of the lamps burned out, instead of 2 towels for 1 feet, the same for the face. There is a swimming pool, but it does not work (although the reception assures that it works).
Good location, but terrible room service. We ordered 2 glasses and ice - we didn 't get enough and went to bed . They asked for a vase - they carried it for a day until we ourselves consumed it at the reception. Very expensive price tag in the bar
