A very mixed impression of the hotel. I had a rest in August 2024.
1. Not all sockets are working in the room. And now, the ones that work are barely working.
2. There was a strange sconce in the room that did not turn off any switches. I had to unscrew the light bulb to sleep at night.
3. Breakfasts are monotonous, if you don't eat eggs, then only sandwiches can be made and waffles, plus fruits and vegetables
4. There are holes in the towels.
5. They gave free water in plastic bottles. The rest in the mini bar is paid, but it's understandable.
6. We were surprised that it's not these small jars of shampoo for the shower - but large dispensers of shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, it's just nice to wash.
7. The pool is there, but a little dirty (the water is clean, but the upper part of the sides of the pool needs cleaning), we really swam in it once. There weren't many people, but they were all smoking. It is disgusting to the point of nausea for those who do not smoke(((
8. Transport accessibility is quite convenient, the tram stop is right in front of the entrance, the bus stop is also right within walking distance.
9. Wi-Fi is very slow(((
Overall, it's very good, but the hotel is not very well monitored (
The feeling of the hotel is mixed.
The location is convenient, you can walk to the center, there are many delicious cafes and a tram nearby.
At the reception, they try to cheat us with the price every time. So always check your amount on the website with the one that you have entered into the terminal.
The lobby and Grounds are beautiful, the food is delicious, the portions are huge. The spa is disgusting, the hammam is shared with men. The rooms are slightly refreshed, but generally outdated. We had a room with a view of the pool, friends had it opposite, it stank of dampness.
Everything is so old, but good. We were caught when a man was playing the piano in the hall. Very pleasant. The breakfast is good. The metro is not far away. The room has everything.
A cool 5 star hotel. The breakfasts are delicious. The rooms are small, but this does not bother with good plumbing and good furniture. The staff is super.
A nice hotel a little away from the bustling center of Fatih.
The rooms are clean, cleaning is done every day, the minibar is paid.
The only downside is the breakfasts. Generally not tasty and not diverse
There is a tram nearby! You can drive anywhere
nice rooms, lived in a family suite, everything is super. The breakfasts are very tasty and there is a large selection of dishes. Pleasant and polite staff, I really liked everything
Nice hotel. But not 5 stars, of course. Excellent location. The room was located above the reception with a view of the road, Internet (WI-FI) I caught it perfectly there.
The bar was not touched and no advance payment was left for it.
The excellent location of the hotel, a few steps from the tram stop, which takes you to the very center of the city in a maximum of half an hour. The staff is friendly, the breakfasts are of the same type, but there is enough choice. There are practically no Russian-speaking guests.
The hotel spoils the impression of the whole grid! The staff is just terrible, except for some waiters. The 5-star hotel has paid water!!! They took away the glasses that we had brought with us from the room, and achieved a search only with a translator. There is only one question, why does the management not react to negative reviews in any way?
The hotel does not even look like a 3-star hotel at all. Breakfasts are not tasty from the word at all. The numbers are dead . The staff is terrible. They give torn towels. At the exit, they also demanded 90 lira for water, although they said water was free at the entrance. And suddenly it turned out that the water was free only for the first day . Before that, we were at the Holiday Inn old city 4 stars, the hotel is clean, the staff is polite (they even gave us a cake), they gave us a better room than we ordered. Fresh food for tomorrow, everything is delicious.
Holiday Inn Istanbul city is a disgrace to the entire hotel chain. I do not recommend visiting!
A very decent hotel close to the center of Istanbul. Not far away, 300 meters are the remains of the city wall, which encircles the former Byzantium. I liked the location because there is a metro stop right on the street, according to our high-speed tram. There are no traffic jams to the Sultanahmet stop in just 10 minutes for 5 lira (12-13 rubles per lira course). Therefore, you do not pay for hotels in the center at all, and the service of the hotel is very decent. You won't be hungry for breakfast, but without frills. The rooms are gorgeous, the beds are King size, clean, large. The pool is in the courtyard. In general, for a few days of exploring Istanbul, it's just the thing.
I was only in a cafe, everything is very stylish, inside there is a courtyard with a swimming pool, the toilet is just royal, sooo beautiful, and that's 5 stars
The breakfasts are of the same type, there is no Russian-speaking administrator, we ordered a taxi to the airport and paid at the reception, when we arrived at the airport, the taxi driver demanded that we pay for the fare, he had nothing to do with it, we had to pay, since he did not give us the suitcases, and it turned out later, the hotel charged us for two more taxis Three times. There is no limit,.... The money was never returned to us. Disgusting staff
5 stars does not pull at all, a maximum of 4 stars.
— very good pressure inputs in the bathroom
— the rooms are shabby, sometimes they smell bad (ask to change)
— the hammam is unclear how it works, it is constantly turned off
— the pool is filled with bleach
— cats are shitting on the patio
