It is a wonderful and unfortunately the only Orthodox church in Phuket so far. All Christians are required to attend). Please note that they ask you to enter the temple barefoot, leaving your shoes at the entrance, I did not immediately notice this. There are a small number of icons in the temple (icons, not the images themselves), but there are also rare ones, even the Three-handed One was found in selected images, which I was especially pleased about. You can also buy icons, calendars and Orthodox literature in the temple, there is no cash register, donations need to be left for the stronghold, there are price tags on almost everything.
There is a kindergarten and a small school on the territory of the temple (if I understood correctly), as well as a baptismal chapel (baptistery), rubber plantations and a cow pasture around. Grace reigns supreme
Many thanks to the people who participated in the construction of the temple and support its work.
A very beautiful temple in the middle of the rainforest! One can feel the strength of spirit and faith, the presence of a close-knit congregation of parishioners. They sing psalms and prayers together at prayer services and services, especially on holidays. There are responsive, kind, attentive people everywhere. There is always a feeling of spiritual tide and a special gracious atmosphere in the temple!
Father Roman is a true "shepherd of his sheep." All the parishioners adore him! And there's a reason for that! He gathers everyone together and stands up for every parishioner! I bow low to you, Father Roman!
