There are such fabulous places in Abkhazia that simply cannot be reached. One of these is the Baba Yaga Gorge. We, as sophisticated tourists, traveled almost all of Abkhazia and thought that nothing would surprise us anymore. If you are in Abkhazia, especially in Pitsunda, be sure to visit these Horseback rides. Neither adults nor children will remain indifferent.

Stoichie is a 20-minute drive from Pitsunda. I do not recommend going by yourself, they will bring you, inexpensively. We get on the horses and move in a chain towards the Musser reserve. The final destination is a gorge, a photo for memory, and it's Beautiful on the way back, the horses go by themselves, it remains to watch and admire nature. For the most cautious, an escort of two Abkhazian guys will help, pull, stop, take pictures. Well done!!

I called the specified number. A man answered the phone, I asked when can I come for a horse ride? The man asked me where I was calling from and if I was a tour guide? I replied that no, it's just that tourists want to come with their family. The man immediately answered me sternly, we have an appointment for 3-4 days ahead and that was the end of the conversation. We drove past this stable and it was clear that there were no people there in principle, but we did not stop by, because we thought it would be better to go to our city. It seems that they are interested in cooperating with guides, i.e. with a group of people, and not with ordinary "single tourists"

I really enjoyed the horse ride! Picturesque places, light adrenaline during descents and ascents) there is not much and not a little time, it is quite comfortable. The horses are good, very smart and obedient. My Karai was just a miracle! Tengo's escort helped everyone, if necessary, took photos, answered all questions about the region.
Take Sugar for horses (no more than 10 pieces per day for one), washed carrots or sweet (not sour!) apples-they will be very grateful

We rode with two children. We really liked the horses. The walk itself was almost all the time in the shade of the trees, so it was not hot.The length of the route is approximately 1.5 km in one direction.I recommend it to everyone!

The route to Baba Yaga Gorge took place in the shade of trees and through picturesque places, so that it was comfortable here even in the hot time of the day. A stunningly beautiful gorge, and smart Caucasian horses, not as tall as they ride in Russia, it's comfortable to sit, nothing hurt after more than 2 hours of walking. They are calm, they know where they are going. An equestrian instructor will instruct and accompany you.

It turned out to be a wonderful walk! I'm glad I met the guys - this is their family business. I have not seen such a love of people for animals for a long time, and horses reciprocate. It was 06.01.24 years ago. To say that I liked it is very weak. We experienced great happiness and pleasure from the organization, in relation to the client (even because of the bad weather we found time to ride horses) the animals are very well-groomed. It is immediately clear that the owners are sensitive to animals and feed them well. George is a very competent and responsible person. May God grant you happiness, health to you and your pets in your household, prosperity and success in this difficult task. They met us at the appointed time and warmly escorted us off. The walking route did not leave us indifferent, even though it is winter, but everything is so beautiful and wonderful. The air was special. I really want to spend the summer and come to visit you again. Thank you very much!!!

I am an equestrian with experience, so I approached the choice of a place for a horse ride with trepidation, but there were still worries, because the word "rental" is not an empty word for me. And what was my surprise from what I saw - horses live in a wonderful place, they are treated well, they are clean and tidy, moderately well-fed, not tortured by life. In general, it is a pleasure to sit on such a horse. As for the walk itself, we (the two of us) were very kindly met near our hotel, taken to the place of the walk and also kindly taken back, the route is very picturesque, along a mountain river. The owner is a very friendly and pleasant person, he told me everything with pleasure. I recommend this place for spiritual walks to people who appreciate animals and reverent attitude towards them, and not a ride to the grave.

I liked everything very much.
First, we were picked up by car from Pitsunda (from the temple with the organ), taken to the place of the walk - it is located a short distance from the seashore in the mountains, beyond the mountain river. The guide is a very good-natured and cheerful person. He drove along the gorge, past waterfalls and mountain rivers. I was showing river crabs. Very picturesque places!
You can take a carrot or an acidic apple with you to feed the horses after a walk. By car, if desired, they return to Pitsunda.
I highly recommend it!

I called to sign up for a walk on August 4, 2023. The nearest available place was on August 8th. We agreed that the car will pick up at a certain time from the hotel. The car did not arrive at the appointed time and day. They tried to call for half an hour, but no one answered the phone. When they finally got through, they couldn't answer why no one came to pick us up, they told us to wait. We waited for another half hour, all the while trying to get through again. As a result, we were told that something was wrong with the horses and there would be no walk. They could not explain to us why we were not warned in advance about the cancellation of the walk. There was no free entry for other days either. Although it's strange, if something is wrong with horses, then how others will ride. So having signed up in advance, 4 days in advance, we were left without a walk, although the child was very much waiting for her...

A fabulous place that you want to return to again!
The horses are well-trained, calm, and know the route. The instructor is always there, controlling everything. The child can safely be put alone.
At the end of the route, they give you time to walk, take pictures, no one is in a hurry.
The owner of the stable is a wonderful man! He does not save money on the feed, the horses are all well-fed, not tortured (even though we were at the end of the season).
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for a great time and for the delicious bread that we were treated to)
PS be sure to take with you sweets for horses (sugar, crackers, apples, carrots) - they love them very much and are waiting for them)
