We were on a two-day excursion, stayed overnight. A very atmospheric place (albeit tired) in the colonial style. It was like being in the set of an American movie. We had a large room, a large balcony with a high-quality view of the river and the jungle. We went for a massage - we were frozen (the air conditioner does not work like in the rooms, of course). Dinner is fine, breakfast is also fine. But like all Thais, the reception is very slow.
And so, for one night - the norm 👍
A great hotel! It is surrounded by greenery! Beautiful , large territory. Swimming pools, various recreation and entertainment areas. Excellent new rooms with all amenities and hygiene supplies. The room has slippers and umbrellas.
Great breakfasts/lunches/dinners on the large terrace with a beautiful view of the river. Alcoholic cocktails are made for a fee, and ice cream is sold.
Across the river there is a spa area with 15 baths (springs with different temperatures and properties).
Everything is very coaxing and dignified!
Cicadas... there are an incredible number of them here, I've only heard more in the Philippines.
The rooms and grounds are atmospheric and vast, and you can't get lost here at once, except for dinner, which is a monotonous buffet and terrible cocktails. Do they teach you how to make disgusting cocktails in Thailand?
The hotel is not bad, coral Travel declares it on its excursions as the only 5-star hotel on Kwai. Our room was in a building by the river, the balcony overlooked the river itself, the view and landscape are simply amazing, the sunset is gorgeous, that's all. The room is medium-sized, 2 separate beds (were with a friend). The furniture, interior and linen are outdated both mentally and physically, everything is old, worn, battered, but clean. There are slippers, there are no bathrobes and a toothbrush, soap, shampoo, a cap, a hair dryer, an old meager refrigerator that freezes completely in one corner of the freezer and after 2 centimeters in the same freezer it barely cools down. The kitchen for tourists is standard, rice, chicken, salad, vegetables, fruits were not for dinner, there were at breakfast and this improved the overall disadvantage)))) the territory is huge, gorgeous, well-groomed, a lot of locations for photos, the pool is not bad, but the water is cool, in general, you can visit this hotel only as part of an excursion
Everything is cool, and the territory, and the table, and Tai, and Kwai, and the pools, and 3 talking birds. There's just nothing to do there. After 3 days you will start to run wild.
PS And what gorgeous toads there are at night. This indicates the cleanliness of the place.
It's very beautiful here, the food is delicious, but we were only for one night, arrived in the evening, left in the morning. I really wanted to stay there longer!
Minus one is the absence of the sea. And so, the hotel is awesome, 2 swimming pools, cleanliness. The rooms are all intact, I would say new. A river where you can raft or swim, 12 hot springs, a gorgeous table. The jungle is all around, birds are chirping. Unfortunately, we only lived for 1 night. They didn't want to leave.
Goodnight! If she 's kind ? I am writing a review directly from the hotel on 08.12.2023 at 03:00 at night !!!! The hotel is not bad, but there is no air conditioner at all, or rather it is there, but it works like a bad fan in the room of 29 degrees there is nothing to breathe, I opened all the doors and managed to throw it off only until 27, when my husband and I came to the room at 22:00 and realized that the air conditioner was not working, we turned to the remote control, the master came pressed the buttons and concluded what blows means everything works, but alas, now I'm lying in agony, it's impossible to sleep in such heat. I attached a photo to the review
A very interesting place! I was impressed with the furniture, I do not recommend massage. Sooo delicious cuisine. There are houses on the water and just rooms.
The rooms are good, but not without flaws - our air conditioner flowed at night, we had to call the master. Well, it is clear that the territory of the hotel requires renovation... everything is tired...
I recommend houses on the water, it's a fairy tale. And be sure to go rafting on the river and visit the hot springs. I would love to stay here for a week.
We were at this hotel in the winter of 23 years on a 2-day excursion, I really liked it,the balcony overlooking the river, the sounds of nature, the territory 👍it feels like you live in the forest yourself))
A wonderful hotel. A huge area with several pools, lost in the middle of the jungle. The rooms not in the houses on the water are also of excellent quality, modern and spacious with views of the river and fields. No mosquitoes were seen. I liked the talking birds in the lobby of the hotel. The food was like a buffet with the adaptation of Thai dishes in a European way, very tasty. I highly recommend this hotel.
Great hotel, right in the jungle. A large area. Nice bar. Comfortable rooms. The view from the hotel is simply breathtaking. Good breakfasts/dinners. There are many beautiful teak furniture and sculptures. There is a massage parlor right at the hotel
A super hotel, a huge bed, has everything you need to stay in it! Nice restaurant with live music, very friendly waiters. The territory is huge, the pool is great!
The hotel is located on the banks of the river, the style would be called colonial. One or two floors with a wide gallery, two freshwater pools, one of them is practically in the forest. Wide panoramic windows overlooking the river, tropical plants, everything creates an indescribable atmosphere.
The room is large and clean. The view from the window is so-so. The staff is very slow, we waited two hours for our rooms to be cleaned after the previous guests. The choice of food is meager. But the pools are clean, with children's slides. Tourist massage (decorative). Rafting on the river is very cool (beware of snakes). The spa is cool if the body can withstand 40-45 degrees of water at 35 degrees of air ;).
The territory is cool and large. Especially at night. The room is not great. You can see that they tried, but they don't fix the flaws in cosmetics, there is a leak on the ceiling, scuffed paint, duct tape on the switches. There is no safe, which is very strange. The view from the window was at a height, on the river Kwai. When nature wakes up around 6 o'clock, it's just a fairy tale to watch and listen to it.
The location is great, I recommend taking a room with a view of the river. The food is good. The furniture in the rooms is old and smells damp, so four stars.
Very cool rooms in the houses on the water, the view is gorgeous. I really didn't want to leave there

Too much time on the bus. You need to go straight to the elephants, then to the river and then to the waterfall. Everything else is a market buy something .
