The hotel as a whole is very good! The location is excellent, close to everything a tourist needs:railway station, shops, cafes, walking distance to local attractions, at hand.
We checked in instantly, the room is very nice and clean, comfortable beds, good clean bed linen. There is a kitchenette in the room, if you wish, you can prepare breakfast yourself) the hotel also provides breakfast for an additional fee.the fee.
Of the cons, the hotel is located by the road, it's a little noisy at night. There were 4 guests in the room, only 2 bathrobes), forget about the slippers, they are not there at all and even for a fee at the reception they are not there either. There are no mini personal hygiene kits either, you need to bring everything with you. It is not thought out at all in the bathroom, in the shower the water jet is directed at the joint of the doors, which do not close tightly, as a result, the floor is not just wet, there is a large puddle, it is not pleasant to walk completely on a wet, cold, slippery floor.
For the money that a hotel room costs, you could have a higher service, to put it mildly. Well, or at least that breakfast is included in the price to balance the sensations of price-quality)
Although the overall impression is not bad)
A comfortable hotel in the city center. Old Soviet style with high ceilings. There are very large rooms. The presence of a train station nearby does not interfere at all - the double-glazed windows are very thick. The breakfast is delicious. A convenient place in Brest!
I'll write the cons right away: there is nothing in the room! In a family room for 2 adults and 2 children, 1/2 roll of toilet paper lived, drinking water is not provided in the room, there is not even a cooler on the floor, there is no kettle, no tea, no appliances (spoons, mugs). There is no shoe spoon! Just one tiny trash can in the toilet.
The child was sleeping on an old sofa with bulging backs.
There is black mold in the corners of the shower stall, there is no shelf for detergents (only holes in the wall from the shelves), the quality and quantity of soap and shampoo are the lowest. There are no slippers, no bathrobes, no dental cleaning kits.
For an additional fee of 23 bel. rubles, we bought breakfasts. They're not worth it.
There were no more places in the city. If possible, look for another hotel
A place that got stuck in the 80s. But for some reason it positions itself as a 4-star hotel. There are no air conditioners in the rooms, no kettles and no water either. If you want to drink, then go down to the restaurant, there's a cooler and cups, but there's nothing in the room to pour water into. The hotel seems to be parasitizing famous guests, especially Vysotsky. I did not understand the meaning of his museum, since it is impossible to get into it, it is always closed. Vysotsky's room is a museum of the 70s. It is impossible to live in it - there is no air conditioning, there are no carpets, you are not offered slippers, and the room has cold floors. The refrigerator works in such a way that it can be heard in a dream, there is no kettle, drinking water, even as a compliment, is not offered. The bed creaks and wobbles, the handle falls off the shower, gels and shampoos are not given out in jars, like all 4-star hotels, but in disposable bags, as a result, apparently we did not have enough gels and we had shampoos everywhere, well, you will not wait for disposable brushes - it is impossible to live in all this, considering that the payment for the room is not small. 270 Belarusian rubles for this half-broken something and a piece of furniture in the form of painted wallpaper from the owners of the hotel. Yes, you will make a museum in this room and take people there for a nominal fee. Do not disgrace a person's name with such financial frauds. There is no restaurant, there are no waiters, they are not interested in you at all. The menu is expensive, about like in a Lantern, but at least everyone is interested there so that you feel comfortable. The only people who try in this place are the administrators, everything else is dusting in the eyes for a lot of money.
We stayed overnight with a guided tour. The hotel is old, very high audibility. The breakfasts are good. The rooms are small, old, but clean. In general, it is good for an overnight stay and breakfast.. do they lie for a long time.
I liked everything. Near the railway and bus stations. Clear. It's cozy in the hotel. The food is delicious, we left before breakfast and we were given delicious and hearty lunch boxes.
Very nice and cozy hotel. These are stable and confident 3 stars with a tendency to 4. There is a grocery store nearby, and if you walk, there is a pedestrian street with restaurants and cafes nearby, there is a CFS.
Clean, polite staff, but everything is a little "tired". I was a little unlucky to be around very noisy teenagers, but the staff quickly solved this problem. I didn't have time to have breakfast in the morning and packed a chic lunch box with me.
Comfortably..cleanly . It's a pity that there is no air conditioning in the room or a fan at least. The location is close to the pedestrian zone, where musicians play in the evenings and a lamplighter lights gas lanterns .
Nice hotel. The rooms are clean. The staff is polite. The location is super. Everything is within walking distance. The food is good. In front of the Park of culture and recreation.
One of the advantages is the location near the train station, a good breakfast (buffet), neat rooms. I didn't like it - a very soft mattress and a hard pillow - my neck gets numb overnight, I have to sleep without a pillow, my back does not unbend, but this is purely individual. I live in this hotel only when the Youth Room is packed to capacity.
A great impression. Single rooms are the standard of how to mark a bed, table and wardrobe on a couple of meters) excellent location relative to the railway station. The rooms are quiet. Breakfast is in the buffet format, monotonous, but aggressive. Full price=quality ratio.
Excellent hotel for reasonable money, very colorful interior, parking for a car nearby, delicious food in the restaurant, helpful staff, everything is on the level👍
The hotel is good, the renovation is on the level. The rooms are small, there are no kettles and a cooler on the floors. But the restaurant is decent, on the day of arrival, late at about 20 o'clock, we went to dinner. The national dish of draniki is above all praise (maybe they were hungry!), but it is very tasty. They took it with mushrooms and salmon - super! The service was good. So far , I 've taken off one star only for the lack of a kettle .
We spent the night at the hotel from April 30 to May 1, 2024. The hotel is located next to the Russian Railways and the train and bus station. All locations of Brest are within walking distance. The hotel is clean, everything in the room is also without complaints. Breakfast is a buffet, we did not stay hungry, friendly girls are at the reception. Despite the fact that there is a road nearby, there is no noise. I recommend.
The hotel management, of course, does not care about guest ratings, but for potential residents I will write:
It's very stuffy! The single rooms do not have air conditioning. If it is more than 20 outside, stuffiness is inevitable.
The audibility is such that the snoring neighbor in the next room is actually lying under your ear, and no earplugs will help. In the morning, at 6 a.m., doors start slamming everywhere, as if they hit you on the head.
If you have a light sleep, avoid this place.
In other cases, it is quite possible to stay for a couple of nights, if you understand that this is a very economical option.
The advantages are convenient location, good staff. Good service.
Cons - very inconvenient arrangement of furniture in the rooms, not very comfortable beds (soft mattress, high rigid frame)
The hotel has a good restaurant, good breakfasts, and a richly decorated lobby. The room is clean. The beds in the rooms are bad - short and with disgusting mattresses. Also, there is no sound insulation - lying in bed in your room, you can hear what is being discussed in the room across the corridor.
They already wrote about the portal in the nineties, you can't say more precisely. Compared with Minsk, Nesvizh, Pinsk (we took standard double rooms in 3/4-star hotels in the range of 150-220 rubles) this is the most miserable room for an inadequate price. A decent finish ends on the stairs with photos of celebrities. The rooms have furniture from the pioneer camp. It is impossible to get up from the creaking bed without hitting the high sides. The mattresses are sagging. The sheets are short, they don't turn up. Pillows are one name. WiFi is only available on the stairs. We haven't heard about the air conditioner here. There is no water, kettle, slippers. It is impossible to tear / crack / crush a package with the cheapest shower gel without a special tool. I chose it by rating on Yandex, do not repeat this mistake. Don't get fooled by the twisted reviews. Sort the reviews by rating "1", look at the photo to get an objective assessment of this misunderstanding.
A very nice, well-renovated hotel. It is superbly located. Wonderful staff. But the cafe/restaurant and especially its owner/"cook" is just a mess. The signboard is open from 07:00. But it's not convenient for the young lady. And she opens the doors at 08:10. At the same time, food begins to appear only at 08:30. Any comment, including on the quality of food, is perceived with resentment. The answer follows: if you don't like it, go somewhere else. And the food is really terrible. I will say more, it is not quite edible for Belarus. I accidentally saw the condition of the kitchen. The question arises - where is the hotel management looking? And where is the SES looking? At the same time, according to reviews, this problem has existed for a very long time. Why do hotel owners shoot themselves in the foot?
Nice cozy hotel. Friendly service. Good location nearby, within walking distance of cafes, shops, the street where the lanterns are lit. The rooms are comfortable and modest, but clean and cozy enough. There is an elevator.
A good hotel with comfortable rooms and excellent food, it is very unusual to be in a place where there were so many famous people, it is a pity that I was here only for one day.
We were in a family room in July 2024. The hotel was renovated compared to our last visit in 2013, but the attitude towards the guests remained the same. Breakfast is on coupons, there is no drinking water in the room, you can dial it in the cooler in the restaurant, but by our arrival at 16 o'clock it was not there - you can buy it at the reception)! Also filling the room - the furniture is already in need of repair, consumables in the toilet / bathroom - one roll of paper, the cheapest bag of shampoo... It may be enough for one night, but it is not recommended for a long stay.
A hotel with its own special mood. Overall, I liked it. Near the railway station, not far from the Brest fortress, it is easy to walk to Sovetskaya Street.
We were in April. It was cold in the room (slightly warm batteries and a strong blow from the window)
. There is a refrigerator in the room, a shower cabin in the bathroom, disposable sachets with soap and shampoo.
They asked for a kettle at the reception. The Wi-Fi is not working well. He only caught it in the hallway, but he didn't even see the net in my room.
We spent 2 nights . The very next day, towels were changed, sachets and toilet paper were added. thank you!
A very decent buffet breakfast in the restaurant (paid separately). Everything is delicious.
1. Beautiful!!!! the location of the hotel is relatively far from the railway station - 7 minutes on foot!!!
There is Parking on site.
2. Close location from the historical center of Brest: Sovetskaya street - Brest Arbat and Gogol Street - a beautiful alley with many sculptures of interesting configurations.
3. 30 minutes through the park opposite the hotel to the Brest Fortress Memorial.
There is an elevator!!!
The atmosphere of comfort and harmony of the Soviet elite hotel. There is a photo archive of famous visitors from the entire period of the hotel's existence.
The Vysotsky Museum in the hotel is small but informative. I discovered a lot of interesting things for myself from the family tree.Vysotsky.
BUT!
It is noisy at night because of the very close location in relation to the highway.
There is no air conditioning in the room.
A good hotel. I've hosted a lot of famous people. The prices are a bit high, but this is not a problem for business travelers. There is an all-inclusive breakfast service. The food is decent.
The hotel where many celebrities of the Soviet and current periods stayed .The interior of the room most likely resembled the Soviet period, and everything else was changed in a modern way. A big plus for the restaurant for delicious dishes.
The only advantage is the location. But there are many disadvantages. There are no air conditioners in the hotel, there are no screens on the windows (that is, either stuffiness or mosquitoes), some kind of bug was found in the room.
The beds are not made up to the end, I did not find water coolers, the stairs are not lit at all (nothing is visible at night), and 2/3 of the light bulbs do not work on the floors.
Well, for small things - there is no spoon for shoes, there is no kettle...
A good hotel. With a rich history of famous guests. The rooms are cozy and clean. Delicious and varied breakfasts. Near the railway station and the park. Nearby there is a pedestrian street (Sovetskaya). I recommend
A decent hotel.
The location is good, close to the car and railway stations, within walking distance of the Sights.
The hotel itself is small, clean, and the staff are polite.
Breakfast is a buffet without any frills.
The hotel is conveniently located, close to the center, not noisy, friendly staff service. The rooms leave much to be desired, do not count on bathrobes, slippers. The door in the room where he lived was locked with difficulty. When closing, the door handle remained in his hands. Breakfast in the restaurant, a small selection on the buffet, is quite tasty.
Not a bad hotel. After the reconstruction, it got better, an elevator appeared. Thanks to the Vysotsky Museum, the hotel has a special charm. The buffet is not bad. The rooms could be better for this price
The hotel is not bad, there is a bus station and a railway station nearby. Railway station. The room is clean, tidy, everything is fine, but it was cold in the room, although it was warm outside + 12, in the future you need to put a heater on, or turn on the heating, then there will be five stars
I was choosing a hotel for a day for a business trip! The location is excellent, near the train station for those without a car!
Very cozy, stylish and neat! Polite staff!
The perfect price/quality ratio.
The breakfast was very tasty and hearty! (buffet)
I recommend it!
The location is near the train station and the park. Upon check-in, the program did not work at the hotel, and they could not check in without it. I had to wait until it worked, as a result, a huge queue of waiting people lined up. From the conversation of the employees, it was possible to understand that they often have it and can "have fun" for half a day. The breakfasts are so-so, half of everything is cold. In short, the scoop is still. Externally, the hotel is better than inside.
Difficult experiences. No air conditioning, no screen on the window. No water, no cooler, and certainly no kettle. There is a coffee machine on the ground floor. There is a museum of V.S. Vysotsky, but...neither in the morning, nor in the evening, nor at 5 p.m. it was not possible to get there, although the guide assured that it was possible to visit... The cafe is small, so it cannot accept two groups of 30 people. They work on weekends from 8-30. If you consider that excursions leave at 8-30, then out. They came to meet us, they opened at 8-00
The best thing about this hotel is the location. Everything is nearby, everything is close. The condition of the room is a little tired, the staff is friendly, the breakfasts are delicious.
Nice clean hotel. The second visit killed almost all the good impressions from the first one.
There is a disco in the restaurant on Friday and Saturday. The sound is all over the hotel. Drunken visitors wander around the floors and pull the handles of the rooms. And it doesn't matter that this is a hotel, that people are tired and want to sleep. If you are on the road or have come for work, I strongly advise against it.
The very center of the city. It's convenient to get there, good transport links, a lot of interesting things around, I didn't even have time to visit everything. I'll have to come back here again.
Very nice hotel! Everything is clean and tidy. The rooms may need to be repaired, but everything is not so critical. Very nice restaurant, nice to be in. Delicious breakfasts!! In the hotel you can see photos of celebrities who stayed in Bug over the years. I recommend it!!
The hotel is very cozy. The rooms are small. The staff is in trouble, they are polite, but they do not know what is in the rooms, they did not help with early booking, although the room was free and we were ready to pay extra. Breakfast is 18 bel rubles, buffet - sliced sausage, cheese, ham of 1 type, vegetables, hot - rice with vegetables, sausages, nuggets, hercules, tea, coffee, juice and lemonade, cereals. It's not bad for a small hotel. Everything is fresh and delicious. The location is close to the train station and the center.
We stayed in the room with an excursion program. The hotel is decent, the room is big enough. The breakfasts are good. The night we spent the night, the wind was blowing and the windows were whistling terribly, in general, we couldn't get enough sleep, besides, there was an insanely large hole in the mattress..... I found her late, when I got out of the shower, so I didn't have the energy to deal with this problem.
Nice hotel for the night. Everything is neat and clean. They will help you with luggage storage if you arrive early or leave late. But early check-in or late check-out was not offered. The breakfasts are not bad. The room is clean, except for smudges on the wall near the window. The upper shower adjustment knob falls off in the shower. But this does not affect taking a shower, since there is another watering can. Convenient location - 7 minutes to the train station, 10 minutes to the main streets.
A good budget hotel + a historical place, a lot of famous people stayed here.
At breakfast, the staff was finally changed, so everything is on the level))
A hotel with a history. interesting interiors, located in the city center.
It is very clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay.
The bathroom is a little cramped.
A wonderful buffet in the morning.
