The bathroom was not cleaned at all, sand, hair on the floor. The room is just so-so, the wallpaper is moving away, the skirting board too. The plumbing in the bathtub is just terrified, mold. Of course, bed linen also causes disgust. It is possible to go outside only through the courtyard, and there is always a smell of fried onions, because there is a cafe, the kitchen windows overlook this courtyard. We haven't even changed the towels in a week.I do not recommend it!

By an unfortunate coincidence, tired from the road, we stopped at the "best" hotel in Gagra. To begin with, at the entrance to the room, we noticed that the faucet was leaking. They turned to the hostess, to which the answer followed: "My husband will come back in the evening and fix everything." We have been waiting for that very evening for all 8 days of our vacation. What can I say about the room itself: the bed is broken, it will hold everything together, if you sit on the left edge, you can fall through, since the crossbars under the mattress are broken. We didn't find a blanket in principle, there was only a duvet cover and some kind of not particularly pleasant-smelling plaid, which we decided not to use. There are pieces of dirt in the corners of the room. The hot water was only available late at night and then not always. In the early morning and late evening, we "enjoyed" the stomping, shouting, and slamming of doors. It was impossible to sleep…
I caught Wi-Fi only near the door and then every other time.

Avoid this place. Their Internet works only downstairs in the courtyard, the rooms are not removed from the word at all. When asked to remove, they snap back and then do it with a dissatisfied face. The family of the owners are sitting in the courtyard, occupying it completely, it is as uncomfortable as possible for vacationers. (Note to the owners).
The construction site is nearby, the eternal noise and hubbub. I don't know how they do the laundry here, but the bedding stinks terribly. The only advantage is the location. But you can find other places and even better locations. (I will also say about the hair dryer in the room, kettle, refrigerator, so that you don't think that you see only the bad). They also promised parking , as a result , they sent non - paid parking .
In short, this place will spoil the first impression of Abkhazia.

8 days in New Gagra, if you can call it a vacation. A private hotel in Fiji. The room is nice, hairdryer, air conditioning,TV,refrigerator,balcony,sofa,wardrobe,two cabinets, coffee table, two chairs. Everything seemed to be fine, but the lights were turned off every day. The people did not seem friendly to me, they are ready to rip everything off you in three skins, they are only looking for their own benefit. The only thing that brightened up was nature, excursions to the Alps pass, and rafting on a catamaran along the Bzyb mountain river - this is class! But I would not wish such a rest to the enemy either. There are wow prices on the market, one hypermarket "Assorted", also wow, there are simply no good fruits, the beginning of August.There is no pork meat to buy and roast yourself, there is one smelly piece in the whole market and that is 450r, 900r salo.For me, the main thing is to have civilized living conditions, delicious food, a well-functioning wifi - I didn't see anything like that

It was good in the room at first glance, but when they had already checked in, paid for, there were surprises: not a clean shower (mold and gristle curtain), dirty plumbing, a broken linen closet. For 5 days, no one has cleaned the room once, the towel and the bed have not been changed. The dishes in the room are just awful. Probably no one has ever washed it. We didn't book anything in advance, so we were already looking for it on the spot, and after a long road we didn't have the strength to choose and search. At first glance, everything seemed good to us - they took a two-storey room, a bathroom, a hairdryer, air conditioning, on the second floor there was also some kind of outdoor air conditioner (in fact it performed the functions of a fan, it was sooo noisy and there was no sense from it), there was also a balcony, a refrigerator, plus a good discount. Well, in general, everything seems to be there, I wanted to wash up and relax faster, let's go. Also, the hostess Marina said that there would be no problems with parking. It started with parking, near their cafe-canteen they were not allowed to park the car, they stood opposite the fence with a sign saying "DO NOT PUT IT", then they generally looked for where to put it, and such signs were everywhere (advice, if by car, immediately stipulate parking on the territory of the hotel)! They gave us bed linen, well, guys, you can't do that, you take 4000-6500 (they gave us this room for 4000 with a discount, but I know that people rent it for 6500) and this attitude, the linen is gray, wet, as if it wasn't fresh, it was just a sheet or a duvet cover, I didn't understand, we just covered ourselves with this rag, and there was the same one made up, they didn't give pillowcases, there were some on the pillows (the most miserable) and after whom, I don't want to think. Okay, let's go further, you will have friends-ants, there are sooo many of them, there is a terrible smell in the bathroom, ventilation does not work well, the TV has three Russian channels with terrible quality, sometimes they do not show, everything just sizzles. Wi-fi was important to me, there were moments at work, and I asked the hostess if there was any in the room, they assured me that everything was working. There is NO internet in the room at all! Wi-fi is available in their cafe-dining room, where the food is tasteless, while it is not cheap as in canteens, they also charge 10% for service, then they did not leave the room for two days, they were poisoned specifically, vomiting, diarrhea, terrible pain, somehow they moved away! As a result, I definitely do not recommend this HOTEL, of course we did not extend it, we left after 5 days. One plus is that the sea is close, but believe me, you can also find it close and with a good attitude towards people, and not as objects of earnings. Believe me, we are not too demanding, we just wanted CLEANLINESS in the room, in the bathroom, and a fresh and clean bed!!! I do not recommend it. There's mold in the shower stall! The mattresses on the beds should be thrown out long ago, the springs are digging in, it's impossible to sleep! The pillows are torn, the feathers are falling out. It is very humid in the rooms. The bed linen was synthetic, it did not fit the bed, i.e. it was smaller than the size of the bed, so it could not be made, it constantly slipped. Wi-Fi does not catch in the room at all, I had to go out into the corridor and sit on a stool there, well, or go down to the first floor. There is a TV, but it doesn't catch the channels well. There are a couple of channels, but with ripples that it is impossible to watch. In the photo, the shower room is for 3500/day. The only advantage is the view from the room and the proximity to the sea.

The toilet is yellow-gray, ants are all around, crumbs, dust and cobwebs are in the cupboards. The doors do not close, only with a key, which is generally inconvenient. The air conditioner is only in one room, which means either my husband and I have to sleep with the door open and my mother in the other room, or sleep in a stuffy room. The linen and bed are completely damp, there are no mattress pads. The bedding is synthetic, which smells terribly sour. Room cleaning is not provided, while there is no floor cloth, mop, etc. in the room. That is, live in a dirty room. The TV doesn't work with everything! WiFi is not available on the second floor. For some reason, everyone in this hotel speaks to you, except the girl who rented us the room (Esma's name, I think). The maid is so brazen in general, not only is she constantly trying to get you to talk, she also makes claims when you don't smile back at her or don't stop to chat.
The hostess of this hotel yells in the morning, talks loudly wherever and whenever she wants. Don't expect to sleep until 8 even.
Prepare for the fact that you will almost be kicked out on the day of departure. Mom left the room at 7 a.m., so the maid ran up to our room with new guests and demanded to show the room. Naturally, mom refused, so she almost started to break into the room. The future guests refused to watch themselves and left. Although mom immediately said that the children were sleeping and couldn't let them in. Moreover, we heard her running up to the neighbors a couple of times.

I do not recommend eating in the cafe of the same name, you will earn yourself loose stools (I suffer for 3 days). My husband and I ordered two different dishes, he ordered something oriental, I ordered ordinary stewed vegetables with chicken, in fact both dishes turned out to be the same. There was an eggplant in her husband's dish, that's all the differences. The average cost of lunch for two is 600-700 rubles. Before we leave, the locals tell us that there was a toll booth for cars. Then the whole rest in the room will be accompanied by ants. As an additional decoration, there are numerous bottles with and without water throughout the hotel and the room. An ever-bubbling toilet, regular shut-off of water and light. The hotel perfectly "treats" Internet addiction, there is simply no Wi-Fi. Our neighbors were generally "lucky", the air conditioner in the upper room was running on heat, so the sauna is a gift! The attic room warmed up to 45 degrees during the day. They turned to the hostess , she said that there was not enough tension. Where and how to sleep for children are their problems . People have been on the road for almost a day! No one will return the money to you, well, only if you pay a fine worth 2 days. Parking is paid, 300 rubles per day. The sound insulation is poor. To summarize, we can conclude that the concept of service does not exist here. The price-quality ratio is unknown here. Just unscrupulous people, spoiled vacations, wasted money.

- The bed linen, towels are just terrible, all washed, mostly synthetic.
- A puddle of water was constantly accumulating on the floor behind the toilet.
- There were a couple of channels on the TV, and those with strong interference.
- There was only one mug from the dishes in the room, when asked to give the dishes, they only promised to give it.
- The Wi-Fi in the room did not work, it was possible to catch the network only on the 1st floor.
- They can't cook in the local canteen, the service is zero points. After 40 minutes of waiting for breakfast, the ordered dishes were brought to four, and one ureben was told "there is no oatmeal porridge." And he waited another 40 minutes for breakfast. The pizza was ordered - it was brought burnt on one side.

Then our armored room was vacated, it was better, but the toilet was also wobbling, there was black mold in the shower in the corners, a lot of ants, the pillows did not smell nice, the room was not clean, which crawled around the nightmarish housing. The shared kitchen generally expects the best, an electric two-comfort stove that barely warms, there are no utensils in the kitchen, as well as dishes, the refrigerator is very dirty and smells good. I do not advise, there is better housing for this money.

I was at this "hotel" with my family (me, my husband and three children aged 6, 12, 17) from the end of July to the beginning of August 2022 (11 days). We have never had a worse holiday.
Now I'll explain.
I booked a room with a sea view through Booking. I paid 81 thousand rubles.
At my request, the owners sent me a photo of the room on WhatsApp. Apparently, these were the best photos from different rooms, since in the end nothing corresponded to the fact.
When I asked about the cooking area, barbecue and washing machine, they replied that everything is there.
When we arrived, we were checked into a room with a view through the windows of a neighboring house/hotel. They said they would relocate tomorrow.
On the second day of our stay, we were moved to a similar room with a view of the road, parking lot, building materials base and trees through which the sea could be seen.
We booked a two-storey room with two rooms overlooking the sea, but, as I said earlier, the room did not match the photo sent to me on WhatsApp.
A little bit about the number (if you can call it a number):
- There were ants everywhere, which the children were afraid of. I had to contact the owners with a complaint about the presence of ants. They promised to give me a remedy for ants. But these were only promises. The issue was resolved after the third appeal, I was given a remedy for ants and told to poison them yourself. We had to process the room ourselves and breathe in this smell, as it did not fade for a long time.
- Ground floor: a metal bed with a mattress from which springs protruded and which was stained with some liquids. The mattress pad was also covered in stains (probably, if desired, you can get pregnant from them). There is no wardrobe at all, there is a certain niche with a crossbar and hangers. A refrigerator, a kettle and a table slightly swollen from water and cuts.
- The stairs to the second floor are very steep and with narrow steps, I was afraid all the time that the children might fall off it.
- Second floor: a shabby sofa (or a folding chair?) for a 17-year-old daughter, which consisted of five prefabricated pillows and they were constantly moving away. For two boys lying on the floor! mattress with protruding springs. There was nothing else on the second floor and probably nothing would have fit. The air conditioner on the second floor was constantly working, but it could not cope with the temperature in this roof superstructure, it was impossible to stay there during the day, and at night it was still a pleasure to sleep with a terrible hum under your ear.
- The bed linen was terrible, mostly made of pure synthetics. The towels looked more like floor cloths. The pillows resembled lumps of feathers, and in the "birdhouse" for children, the pillows were lumps of sintepon, sintepon constantly came out of them. The pillows were more suitable for the trash.
When we checked into the room, the sink and toilet were dirty, the lock in the bathroom did not work, the shower holder was broken off.
The TV was showing only three channels.
No one from the staff of the so-called "hotel" has ever cleaned the room during our stay. I turned to the owners about this, they replied that residents should clean their own homes.
At the end of the first week, I took off the bed linen myself and took it to the owners with a request to replace it. They, having twisted their faces, replaced it.
There was no electricity or water in the room for hours.
We have already started thinking about leaving this apartment, but the owners have posted ads that in case of early departure they will deduct the cost of living 2 days in advance. This is how customers become hostages of the situation created by the owners.
The cooking area was covered in dirt, nothing was washed at all (neither a stove, nor a microwave oven, nor a refrigerator for residents (it generally smelled of some rotten stuff), there was one electric burner for all residents, the second did not work (it was necessary to take a queue to cook something). The microwave was not working. Dishes: plates, spoons, forks had to be asked from the owners all the time, but first they had to be found on the territory. The dishes were all different, with chipped edges.
