A hotel for your own money. Convenient location: near the tram and metro, Many attractions are within walking distance. The rooms are small, not like on a submarine (a submarine is more spacious), but like on the ISS))) but our room was clean, freshly renovated, without complaints; mattresses, towels and bed linen are good. 4 stars only for the size of the rooms and the location in the shopping district (solid wholesale and cargo around). The breakfasts are modest, but you won't stay hungry (cheap and angry), there is a supermarket near the hotel and many local canteens/kebabs/pide where locals eat. currency exchange around the corner to the right, supermarket around the corner to the left. If the main thing for you is to see the city, and only spend the night at the hotel, then this is a budget option.
A very budget hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The location couldn't be better: less than five minutes to the Marmaray station (we took the train to Ankara, the direct line to the station is 15 minutes), the Yenikapi metro station (from the new Airport ~ 45 minutes) Aksaray tram stop is a 10-minute walk away, supermarkets, fruit and vegetable shops, many small pleasant cafes are nearby, and there is an excellent budget doner in front of the hotel. The rooms are very compact, but down to the smallest detail everything in the room is there: bathroom accessories, refrigerator with water. The breakfasts are modest and simple, on a plate, but very satisfying, we left early, and we were offered breakfast earlier than the set time without any request from our side. Unlimited round-the-clock tea, excellent Wi-Fi. Cleaning on request.
We came to the marathon - start and finish - 15 minutes on foot. I want to come back for no reason - it's about the people and the attitude. Thank you. I definitely recommend it.
The hotel is average. One of the advantages is that it is close to Marmaray, metro and tram stop, to the sights (Topkapi, Hagia Sophia, etc.) in 25 minutes on foot.
Minuses:
- there is very little room in the room, the photo is very distorted, in fact, it is even less than in the photo.
- the walls are very thin, you can hear the neighbor literally.
- the breakfasts are the same, one boiled egg, tea/coffee, bread, butter, honey, jam in packages like on an airplane, and 4 pieces of cheese.
- there was a fight in the next room and in the hallway at night, none of the hotel staff intervened or called the police, despite the fact that there are cameras in the corridors and a monitor is displayed at the reception.
- there is a mosque opposite (30-50 meters), you wake up at 6 a.m. from the call to prayer. If you close the windows, it gets a little quieter, but then it gets hot.
