We stayed at this hotel for the second time. I like the location (right in front of the beach), very friendly staff, value for money. We took full board, we didn't regret it at all. There is a fairly large selection of fresh vegetables, meat, fish, poultry. Excellent desserts, fruits. Ice cream every lunch and dinner. The rooms are not very large, but they are not cramped either. The bathroom is newly renovated.
If it works out, we'll come back again! I dream of bringing my grandchildren there, I don't know if there are quadruple rooms.?

Of the advantages - there is a bus stop nearby (5 minutes on foot) from /to Barcelona and Girona airport, as well as to Barca itself: there is a train station nearby (by the way, trains pass in front of the hotel, but they are not audible, very quiet); the beach is 3 minutes wide, there are both organized areas with sun loungers and zones (2 sun loungers + an umbrella = 25 euros per day; 1 sun lounger - 10 euros per day), and for relaxing by savages; the sea is gorgeous - warm, transparent, the entrance is small pebbles, but convenient; the food in the hotel is sooooo delicious, I ate 2 plates each - there are fish and meat, vegetables it is sparse, but there is, it is very tasty cooked at home, but there is a minus - drinks only for breakfast, lunch and dinner, even water is not included; the Internet is stable; nearby shops with an adequate price for drinks, water, etc. Cons - the rooms are just dead, dirty, the doors in the cabinets are broken, the toilet is wobbly, the room has air conditioning and a TV and both without a remote control, I don't know how to turn on the TV, but the air conditioner is on the wall opposite the bed and you need to get up all night and turn it on/off, there are no rackets by the bed, their in general, there are only 2, there are 2 women at the reception - one just doesn't want to help, extremely unpleasant, the second is normal; there is no refrigerator in the rooms - if you decide to buy something in a Leopard, then there is nowhere to put it; the audibility is hellish.

The Haromar Hotel in Calella in the province of Barcelona was chosen because of the reasonable room price. The room rate also included half board: breakfasts + dinners. The breakfasts and dinners were not particularly varied. There were few fruits, half-yellow peaches, sour oranges, half-green bananas. The ice cream is delicious in small packages. They were treated to it every day. The room for two is small. The room has a small table, one chair, and a bedside table on each side of the large bed. However, there was a very decent bathroom with a bathtub and a bidet. The windows of the room overlooked another hotel, located literally four or five meters from ours. You could see what people were doing in the room opposite, It was necessary to close the windows from prying eyes. The audibility was such that a man could be heard snoring in the room behind the wall. The advantage was that going out onto the balcony of the room, you can perfectly see the sea, feel the breeze from the sea and hear the sound of waves. About the hotel, we can say that it is located on the first line. But, along the entire length of the city there is a railway and a car parallel to it. We went down to the sea through underground passages, 7-10 minutes and you are by the sea. Actually, I like Calella. Trains often run through it, every 10-20 minutes. According to the ticket price, the number of stops and the number of passengers transported, these trains are equivalent to our trains, only more comfortable. High-speed and commuter trains are almost the same in terms of comfort, only high-speed tickets are more expensive and they do not stop at all points. So, by train, you can get to Barcelona in about 45-50 minutes. We went to Barsa every third day. I got distracted from the description of the Haromar Hotel. Basically, if you're not going to spend all day at the hotel, you can choose a hotel. You won't stay hungry, The linen is being changed. The furniture in the room is a little old, the air conditioner is pre-revolutionary in design, but it cools perfectly. There were some misunderstandings with the TV, but we didn't watch it. The Internet is free for only 30 minutes a day. If you left at 21.00, then the next day you will be able to connect only at 21.35.

Considering this particular category of hotels, Haromar copes with the task perfectly. Delicious, high-quality food, the choice of which is quite wide. And believe me, I like to eat delicious food)). Location to three exits to the beach from 2 to 5 minutes! The rooms are comfortable and always clean. Friendly staff. What else do you need to relax?) I highly recommend it!

For 2 stars, it's not bad, towels were changed daily, the bed was made too. There was no change of linen for 9 nights in the room, I do not litter, so I will not talk about the quality of cleaning. The piece of paper that I dropped under the table on the first day was still lying before my departure. But it doesn't matter to me. The usual European breakfasts are fruits and vegetables, pastries, sausage, cheese, in general, as for me it is enough. The first line is a plus, but Calella is a small town on the coast, the sea is close everywhere.
Cons! The first is a high almost vertical staircase to the hotel without a ramp, so you have to carry a suitcase on your hump, as well as then it is very difficult to lower it!
The audibility is very strong, I had to sleep in earplugs otherwise I could hear all the details of the neighbors' lives. The room is equipped with a TV and air conditioning, but I did not use them because I had to pay a deposit for using the remote control, there was no hair dryer
The day of departure finally spoiled the impression. I had an early departure, I asked for breakfast with me, they told me that they would feed me earlier, I was very glad because I would not have to carry food with me. But in the morning there was a complete disappointment. Breakfast consisted of several yesterday's cookies under a napkin and coffee tea, they did not even consider it necessary to make a sandwich, or an egg or a little water with them! Nevertheless, breakfast was included in the price of my reservation, but out of 10 breakfasts I had only 8. If I had known that they would treat their guests this way, I would have bought something to eat on the eve of the evening, and so I had to go hungry to the airport.

It is very nice to see this place on the list. It's a pity that we couldn't come here this year because of the pandemic. For 5 years, in the month of June, my daughter and I have always rested here. We hope to get there next year. The location of the hotel is very good. Near the sea, the food is excellent.

A good hotel for reasonable money. The first coastal one. Wi-Fi is available directly in the rooms themselves - for a fee. 20€ a week. Or it's free, but of terrible quality. Cleaning every day. We took a junior suite on the 7th floor. The bathroom has been renovated. A gorgeous, huge terrace with sun beds. (The room was a corner one). Mountain view and side sea view. There is also a direct view, but there were no available rooms. We took full board. Breakfast, lunch, dinner. The food is a bit monotonous. It seems like a lot of things, but by and large, what you ate yesterday, you will eat the day after tomorrow, by and large. But not too critical.Drinks are free only for breakfast. For Lunch or dinner, you have to buy it in the dining room. We are resting for the second time in this hotel and most likely we will return again.

The hotel is not bad, the room is spacious enough, but the remote control from the TV and air conditioning, safe and hairdryer are provided only on deposit. There is no refrigerator.
