Guys, I highly recommend this hotel in Sukhumi to everyone. Home environment, cleanliness and peace. There is a garden around the hotel - birds are singing!))The sea is 50 meters away. The entire infrastructure is close, but since the hotel is located on the outskirts, there is peace and quiet. Wonderful friendly staff and a cool canteen where you can have breakfast and dinner. The kitchen is homemade! The most important thing is what kind of people work there - cordial♥

We had a rest in late April-early May. The hotel is good. The staff is friendly. In general, it's not bad for a vacation, for Abkhazia it's super. Abkhazia is very different, but it will never be 5 stars in principle. The 3-star hotel is working out. In the conditions that exist in Abkhazia: power outage, and accordingly water, no one took care of the beach, the views are miserable, etc. You can talk a lot about Abkhazia, but it's in another place. I definitely recommend the hotel! If it wasn't for this hotel, I would have howled.:Whoooo

the girls at the reception are nice and helpful, the hotel is clean, BUT the habalka work in the dining room at the hotel, they attacked us with screams on the first day of rest for asking them for a plate! after that, throughout the entire vacation, we did not visit this institution, so as not to spoil our mood, but on the last day, due to early departure, we went in for breakfast, we were met by the same haughty person tortured by life with the question, what are we actually doing here, in her opinion, we are forbidden to come to this institution.
that's how we were greeted and escorted to the so-called land of the soul...
just because of these inadequate staff, I do not recommend this hotel

+ We liked everything. How the hotel is located. The beach is only 3 minutes away. There are few people on the beach. The room on the 3rd floor for three is large and comfortable. The food at the hotel is very good. The hotel has its own generator in case of an emergency. The staff is polite and always ready to offer their help. WI-Fi is free in the hotel.

We booked a room in this hotel on the Internet. They promised a sea view. In fact, they were given a room with a view of the courtyard. The door and the window are the same thing. The hotel is clean. But the room is very stuffy. Although there is an air conditioner, it was not turned on often, as the cold air blows strongly. We didn't get enough sleep at night, we slept with the door open in the room. The hosts are quite friendly. The prices are not cheap. The sea is nearby, but the beach is dirty from sewage and garbage. The descent is such that you can break your legs.

The hotel is very good for Abkhazia. We stayed for 2 days. Payment is made on site. They immediately tell you what you can't do with them (smoke, take out their towels..). The rooms have what you need, the issue of drinking water is solved by the guests themselves. The staff is helpful. If you want hospitality, wait a couple of days until they get used to you. The Internet is not stable, the electricity was turned off several times a day, there is a generator.

The hotel is good, very close to the sea. Fenced area for cars. There is a taxi and a small dining room nearby. Not far away is the stadium (on the embankment), a children's playground, modest entertainment embankments and stalls. The embankment is paved, clean. The price list for the tour is like everyone else's. Only the cleaning is lame. There is a botanical garden, a monkey nursery, and a central wholesale market for locals not far from the city. There is also a night restaurant nearby, where some national holidays are always celebrated - it's interesting.

I was with my family (me, daughter of 7 months, wife with goddaughter of 14 years) on July 19-23, 2019. Excellent (in the whole country)!! I paid in cash.
I liked it: we waited (without a cash reservation); they clearly know the information at the reception and settled in the room that they booked; polite and friendly staff (do not look at us like wallets); the room is clean, ironed, in order and has everything that is needed Booking.com I saw it when booking, except for heating (its there are no hotels in Abkhazia at all) and a washing machine (this is paid 300 rubles / time in Calypso) (they are not installed in rooms in hotels in Abkhazia); silence is observed at night.
Disadvantages: not a balcony, but a public corridor with railings (there is an individual balcony only in the Suites); a small refrigerator (fits in a shuttle bag); cable TV: 5 channels; it is better to have a tee with / without an extension cord); dim lighting in the shower (the problem with the cartridge could not be solved); Wi-Fi in the room catches and flies badly, but at the entrance it pleases.

We have been staying at this hotel for several years in a row. Very cozy, you feel at home. Rooms with all amenities. Excellent cuisine. The owner and his family are very friendly and friendly people. We travel a lot, stayed in many hotels from Vladivostok to Taman, but we never felt more comfortable and comfortable anywhere than in Calypso.

As for the beach, there is an embankment 50 meters away, there are few people, this is good. For 120 rubles, a taxi will take you to the city's Mocha beach, where we also really liked it.We took a small bus from the beach for 20 rubles.to the botanical garden, we walked in the shade of beautiful plants, and back to the hotel by taxi.I recommend this hotel. I want to come here in winter. The prices in the cafe are not high and I repeat, it is very tasty.

the hotel is cooked and served like in a cafe, the prices are reasonable and the food is good. I didn't know khachapuri could be so delicious. Located at the very end of the embankment, all cafes and restaurants are in the center of the embankment. But considering that the city is not big, those who like to walk, not far, 15-20 minutes along the embankment. Minibuses run and taxis are not expensive. There are many small shops nearby. The beach is 2 minutes walk away, the water here is cleaner than in the center where housing and food are more expensive but not better. The market is not far away. The owner personally keeps order in the hotel. In general, the price-quality-location correspond.
